Another brisket that relies on a BBQ sauce. Got some Cajun turkey jerky. It was good, had what appeared to be an "oil" for flavor, but didn't leave a residue. Maybe a one off, but won't find out for a while. The staff that I encountered were wonderful. All were friendly and willing to help out.

Nice service though, hence the 2 rather than 1. But why anyone would choose to eat this is beyond me. Unfortunately one of my regular traveling companions did just that when I stopped here to show her the jerky place. There's no accounting for taste. I found my half of the sub to be puke worthy and didn't finish it. Barely started it. Ew. My cats won't touch it either. And they're less discerning than I.

Our experience with the service started out great. We were greeted warmly and our order was taken promptly. After that, however, we waited, and waited, and waited. Several employees looked our way, but no one communicated what was causing the delay or gave us an estimated wait time. We were left wondering whether they were killing the chicken or butchering the cow! A simple, "We're sorry for the delay; your order should be ready in about ten minutes," would have made a tremendous difference. The lack of communication was frustrating and became a major turnoff. While the barbecue was good, I'm honestly unsure whether we would return, especially with Woody's right across the street, where we've had a great experience for years.
