2 weeks ago my family and I attended a school event from 5-8pm. Cornerstone BBQ was one of the vendors there so we decided to order our dinner from their food truck. At 6:15pm we placed our order of 2 smash burgers (only cheese, patty, bun, and ketchup), 2 French fries, and 2 drinks. We were given a buzzer with the number 5 on it. 30 minutes went by and nothing. My husband went up there to ask if our order was ready yet and they said no. We waited another 30 minutes and still nothing. I then went up there to check in the food and the woman who Rand me up said that it wasn't ready yet. I asked if I could just get a refund since it had been an hour and she said that she couldn't provide a refund since their servers were down. (However she was still ringing customers up despite her claim that the servers were down.) So I asked why it was taking an hour for 2 cheeseburgers and fries and she said because we ordered burgers, they take a long time to cook. She did not apologize for the wait or seem apologetic whatsoever. So I went back to my 3 young children who were starving and whining and I told them we had to wait a bit longer for the food. 30 more minutes went by and still nothing. My husband went back up there and the woman told him food was still not ready. I wanted to just go home but since we paid $48 for the food we didn't want to just eat the money. There were 2 cooks walking back and forth in the food truck and this woman sitting there just staring intently at her order screen. Finally about 10 minutes before the school event was scheduled to end, the woman shouts out the window at my husband and says "Are you still waiting for your food?" And my husband nods and tells her the order number. She goes through her order screen and I see her mouth drop open. Turns out they had completely skipped our order. She still did not apologize for the mistake but said that they would make it now. After my husband told me what happened, I went up there with their buzzer and told the woman "Here's your buzzer. I'm done waiting." There was no way that my kids would be able to eat their food in 10 minutes and I wasn't going to make them try because some rude woman decided to skip our order. So I took my children to Jack in the Box to get dinner. We had spent the entire time waiting for our food at the picnic table that my kids did not get to enjoy the school event and games at all. The entire night was a complete waste of time. read more

The barbecue here is fantastic! This was such a delicious stop on our way to Palm Springs, especially before shopping at the outlets, which are just a few minutes away. We throughly enjoy the BBQ menu and food here. The Ultimate Burger was just that and the Tri-tip meat fries were delicious. I've been wanting to try this place for at least a year and finally made it.....the only issue, it was 100 degrees and no indoor seating. There is a small patio out back with 4 fans situated in each corner but they are not enough to help. We will definitely go back but for take out only. Service was also really good. read more

Food was delicious. We stopped on a cold day and was planning on sitting inside. Beware, it's extremely small there is no seating inside. There are a few tables outside. Was looking forward to trying this place for a while. Went with my sister at 11:30am on a Saturday, 30 minutes after opening. The counter girls knew it was our first time and were exceptionally nice, offered samples of anything. I like pulled pork sandwiches and the corn and bacon side salad sounded good. I had the coleslaw topping on the side. Sister ordered the 1/2 lb brisket. We got our order and immediately sat outside to eat. I picked up my sandwich and the bun was soggy all the way thru already. First bite was full of fat. Opened the sandwich and tried to just pick at the meat with a fork but there was hardly any meat. Everything was stringy with fat. The side of coleslaw tasted old and tad vinegary kinda tasteless. Corn salad had 1/1 ratio corn to fatty chunks of bacon. One bite was all I could eat. Sister said to take it back to counter but I hate fighting about food and then I wouldn't want to eat whatever they replaced with a complaining customer. Sisters brisket was fatty and tough but I could see meat on her plate. She wasn't impressed either. Our plates were $20 and $25. I'm not even going to lie, I'm a super harsh critic and this place is outstanding! The guy at the front was super kind and helpful and even offered samples of the meats since it was our first time! If management is seeing this I'm not sure what his name was but he had a bun and a beard and he was amazing and deserves a raise forsure! Drove out to Beaumont to try out there bar b q. Have to say it was worth the drive. It's a small walk up counter service. There Tri tip was soft and brisket was just as soft. Comes with a side order. We tried their potato salad, which was also good. And a lil touch of 2 small containers of their sweet bar b sauce and 2 biscuits. If you're in the area or passing by stop and give them a try. By the way there's no place for sitting except for two small tables outside with 2 chairs only. So be expecting to take it to go or eat in your car. read more

This place popped up on my social media, and since I was visiting a friend that lives in banning, I thought I'd stop by and give it a try. Your only options are catering or to go. We ordered the large family feast tray and when we arrived at my friends house, we noticed they didn't give us the bread rolls that are included in the $115 family feast. We were disappointed but we did not go back and complain. Food was good but some of the meats were barely warm. Non of the meats contained bbq sauces, the sauces were given separately. I think they're too expensive for what they give you. Ordered 2 large meat fries and they weren't very good. In mine there was lots of fat and it came with no sauce. They charge you per container of bbq sauce but at the prices they charge you would expect there to be sauce on it already. I think the flavors were off, it was super salty, and it just wasn't very good. Staff was too busy talking among themselves to really provide any good service it was more of an inconvenience that we were there placing an order. There are great reviews on this place maybe we'll try it again someday. read more
