New menu was not great especially with the prices they have. Food took a long time, not delivered at the same time; One entree, 10 mins later another entree, another 10 minutes for the appetizer and finally 10 minutes more for the last entree. I also waited 20 minutes for ranch, but my food was finished by then. Manager is very rude but the servers are great! They're definitely overworked and likely understaffed, felt horrible for them. We ordered the wings that were on the specials menu. Very sticky (honey sriracha) and flavorful and delicious. Also had the very creamy mac n cheese with added fresh jalapeños...would be good to add bacon. We ordered the carne asada flatbread. It was heavy on the green sauce and onions and a bit light on the meat and cheese but overall we enjoyed our meal. Fun drinks-enjoyed the Mesa Mom 1.0 with Tito's and grapefruit juice+ and The Dude Abides-an espresso martini. Give Corner Tap a try! I've been to corner tap quite a few times and have enjoyed my experience, for the most part. I've had Hannah serve me on various occasions and every single time has been beyond our expectation. She is so amazing and so smiley and makes our experience amazing every time. I came in the other night and our server, Calvin was incredibly rude and unfriendly towards myself and my boyfriend, I have no idea why, but he had such an attitude. I work in the service industry, trust me I know how it is, but I felt rushed and belittled and overall didn't enjoy my experience as much as before. Good location on the Mesa. Ambiance was nice outside. Service was great. The meat lovers flatbread was amazing, but I wasn't a big fan of the prosciutto flatbread. Been living in Santa Barbara for 8 years and gone to every restaurant in town a number of times. Corner tap has the best wings in the area, hands down. Crispy on the outside, hot on the inside, always meaty and juicy. Recommend Buffalo wings with a side of bbq sauce. Flatbreads are solid as well, but the wings steal the show. This place also has a great location, ambience, and solid beer selection. There's always space, even at typical peak times, but it's never empty as to be awkward. This place rocks. read more

My best friend and I had lunch here today. There were two other tables with guests, one of which was leaving. It was not busy. Our service was terrible, he didn't check on us once after delivering our food. No refills of drinks, no clearing plates, asking if there was anything we needed. The pretzel was tasty and our wings were delicious. The jalapeño poppers were flavorless, had zero spice, and were so over cooked that they were nearly inedible. We ordered the prosciutto flatbread. It was underdone and did not have pears... that's kinda the whole point, prosciutto and pears are heaven and that's why we ordered it. When we asked the server about it, he said "oh... I guess we're out of pears". If you don't have a main ingredient for a dish, don't serve it. He deducted $2 from our meal. Really!? Terrible service, meh food, and a bit bummed out. read more

They have a great beer selection and the staff is SO kind and helpful but unfortunately they do not have the food portion of the restaurant buttoned up at all. I've been multiple times each time they are out of things on the menu and the items they do have are sadly very poor quality. The Mac and cheese was cold and hard, the flat bread sauce was extremely watery and the cheese slid off with each bite. Their expansive corner patio looks out to a super busy intersection full of motorists, cyclists and pedestrians alike. It's truly intriguing to see how many of them will go by in the course of only a few minutes. Free entertainment at its best. I enjoy the overall relaxed vibe of this spot. I came here for the first time last summer and it appeared to have been doing well with Covid in place. The menu was QR-style which was convenient. Corner Tap has a great variety of beers on tap and I was intrigued over the unique options. They also have a good selection of eats. I've tried their cauliflower appetizer and their Mesa Corn dish - both were exceptional. Great light bites that complement the drinks well. Service was also stellar with our waitress checking on us often. This place is just what the Mesa has needed. I hope they do well. read more

We went to this restaurant on a Friday night. We were told to sit wherever we want to. We felt rushed and the food came out quickly. The server only checked in on us once and was slow to re-filling our drinks. We ordered the mac and cheese which was excellent and the only reason this review gets a 2 star. The pretzel was bland and tasted like I was eating cardboard. I ordered the maple sliders and the chicken tasted like I was chewing on a plastic water bottle. Flavors blended tremendously terribly in my mouth so don't get the maple bacon sliders. I ordered a side of fries for an extra 4$ and got a total of maybe 5 fries. You do the math how much each fry costs. Fries were great but would prefer to have more than 5 of them to eat. I might as well go look in a dumpster and find a piece of plastic to eat instead for free. Portion sizes are way too small for the price. Unsatisfied go here if you want to be disappointed with what you eat. I don't care what any other yelp review says don't go here unless you only want mac and cheese. read more

This is the best spot to hang at in Santa Barbra. The food is unbelievably good and the Service is too. Jason and the entire staff have done such an incredible job during such a difficult time to navigate serving incredible Food and drinks to the people. This place has the best of both and for a reasonable price. The beer and wine selection is excellent and to an extent that we Often find ourselves taking some of our favorite beers to go. A great location on the Mesa. Overall food pretty good...especially the gluten-free flatbread pizza and the regular flatbread pizzas--a little salty and overpowered with onion and feta with the steak pizza, but not bad. Really strange as they have tater tots in a burrito but do not offer them as a side--really dumb as Corner Tap would exponentially make a ton of money $$$ on an inexpensive item i.e. potatoes. Suggestion...if they offered an individual side for one serving and a 4-person appetizer with a few sauces like a blended ranch chipotle, maybe something g creating like tarragon lemon zest sour cream or in a plain yogurt composition, and something on the sweeter side of saucy goodness, etc. The young waiter did not connect with the slightly older crowd of 26, 48, and 53 and just needs better training and grooming as it seemed like the. Neighbors kid was forced to get the job and wished he was anywhere else but the Corner Tap. I still would recommend this place and hope they expand the menu a bit. Dinner salad could be a little larger but heard it was good as well but the two eating it said it could have been a bit larger for the price. Will return due to location and pretty good. Really cool little corner spot in town. We sat on a table top right next to the street. Kinda sketchy if someone takes that corner too hot but I love being right there and people watching. Our server was absolutely amazing. Wish I would of caught his name. Super patient with us. I mean since covid, there isn't much to say because we just sat and had a couple beers. If I could write a zero star review I would! This place is in my neighborhood in the most perfect spot so of course I'd want to be able to enjoy this spot. Unfortunately the service is absolutely horrible! Last time my friends and I went on a Monday when it was mellow and we didn't get our menus until 30 mins after we sat down! I even went in to ask for menus and the bartender said the server will "find us." That was BS. We then finally get served and the drinks were horrible! They are usually good, but the server said the bartender has had a few complaints so it seems like he needs to be trained better. THEN our server tells us that she is leaving and she is switching our server, but then we had to wait 45 mins until we just got up and asked for the bill. The new server said he was not told and the last server just left. The new server didn't even ask us how we wanted to pay the bill and the process was taking even longer so I just said F*** it just put it on my card and friends can Venmo. The whole experience was horrible and I will never go back. I never wish anything bad to happen, but honestly I wish some other restaurant takes this spot soon. Great new spot on the Mesa! Live in SB for 18 years and the Mesa was missing a place like this. Sat outside had some beers, jalapeño poppers were great! Saw a great happy hour menu on the weekends and even during covid! Starts at 3pm, we missed it so we will have to come back. Toni our server was awesome, she gave us her favorites, we got one of them and she was so on point. The food and drinks are fine, nothing to get too excited over. The service takes SO LONG. I often end up leaving after 15 minutes because no one working comes up to take my order or acknowledge my existence. Often times the staff is inside just chatting while there is a sign out front saying "sit anywhere you'd like" and they never come over to wait on you or check on you. My wife and I were in town and just wanted some simple food, good beer and good wine and we found it at the Corner Tap Room. Hannah was a fantastic server showing up at the right time and making some good suggestions. The beer and wine did not disappoint and the food was delicious. We kept it simple with an arugula salad, a Bavarian pretzel and a steak quesadilla. All were excellent. The salad was so fresh and delicious and the quesadilla was spicy but worth the pain. The place is named after beer but the food is truly excellent! We really aren't big beer drinkers but we decided to try it since it's local and new. We were beyond impressed with the carne asada flatbread and the red salad with avocado. Btw They make their own dough for the flatbread, so, you know this isn't your ordinary pub food. Every staff member treated me like I was their own, especially Heather, who was the sweetest girl, and also wearing a Lakers mask (Lets go Lakers!). Corner tap is what the Mesa has needed all these years. The renovated building is absolutely stunning with a cozy inside design & comfortable atmosphere. Heather, Eryn, & Phil were so kind when serving my party and José was super awesome when it came to checking up on us. 10/10 recommend visiting if you've never been before.
