They offer a little of everything from hot dogs and drinks, to military gear and car care items. There are about 15 of these on Ft Bliss. This is the newest one on West Bliss / Main Post. And even still, it ain't that new. But, the Shoppette has and always will be a staple of every Army Post. I've frequented these places world wide, for over 22 years now.

The particular just-past holiday was Halloween, and the particular discounted (70%!) item was a "haunted phone", which gives goulish sounds/comments/etc. The purpose for this purchase was to be a prize for our students/families at a Fall festival next year. Walgreens associate Margie expertly checked me through with them item, as well as giving me additional money on my debit card. Walgreens is a wonderful source of food/energy, passport photos, dark chocolate,numerous items beyond drugs, and, of course, cash. This 5-star establishment certainly has my "Wheel of Approval!"

Recently my daughter has been fighting over the candy that she gets from birthday parties because she loves them as much as I do now and she can eat spicy food. I used to take all the candies from when they went to birthday parties and now I can't so this came in handy to create my own little stock. Prices were okay and they charge fees for using a credit card, but the variety in stock is great and well organized. It came in handy as the person didn't speak English well and I didn't speak Spanish well.
