It was A-OK. But not more. The cheeseburger with bacon got rave reviews from Hubs. My salad was under-whelming with brown edges on the lettuce and not much of interest on top. The donut was pretty good. The poutine was ok, but the fries had a weird texture, almost ...I dunno...crumbly? I can't think of a better word. Service was ok but not enthusiastic. Bottom line, if you want a burger or a baked good, worth going to. Otherwise, not. Would I recommend? Depends. Would I return...maybe.

I love corner peach!!! My friend and I had such a lovely dinner recently, everything was delicious and they were super accommodating when we showed up for our reservation an hour early lol we had all vegetarian dishes and each was exciting and very memorable, I love trying new places and I really appreciated experiencing flavours I had never tasted before! The inside is super cute and the staff were awesome. I will definitely go back! The carrot dish was unreal

Went there for a girls night. Took a bit to be greeted by staff and then took a bit to be helped, and only 2 other people in the place.. but after the waitress came over she was professional . We had whiskey sours and margaritas, both were spirit forward with way too much ice but still yummy and enjoyable. We ordered the sourdough and butter, then the sourdough appetizer with goat cheese, beet and a cured meat and honey..very very good! My favourite dish of the night. Kale salad was next, kind of underwhelming - needed more cheese and it was a bit dry. Topped it off with a pasta and it was yummy, simple and Al dente. Small pieces of meat were awesome, wish there were more. Overall, it was a one time spot for me. The location was eclectic / hipster with good ambience and overall good food. Worth trying once of you live near by but you could get more for much less with better service elsewhere. Also, the washrooms were very nice which I always appreciate. Points for those because that matters!

I was in Ottawa in January when I visited Corner Peach. First of all: What a darling spot. It's charming and eclectic. They have a nice light lunch menu (think a few sandwiches, salads, and soups), a nice and varied wine list, and coffees (cappuccino, espresso, macchiato). I ordered a macchiato. The espresso had a rich, clean flavor which paired well with the perfectly frothed milk. As we all stay safe at home, I noticed that Corner Peach is reporting that they are temporarily closed. But once this crisis has passed and they're back open, I'd very much recommend for a nice lunch or an enjoyable cup of coffee.

Awesome place for a date night. The menu has a rich coverage of spirits, beers, wines and artfully made cocktails of your choice. We shared a scallop based dish and a smoked salmon dish. Garnish for both dishes was well thought out in terms of flavors and presentation. We ordered a side of homemade sourdough bread that came with a generous offering of butter to collect all the mouth watering juices from our dishes. The staff were very friendly, prompt, professional, and kept the place spotless. The decor in this place is rustic and very well thought out. I know this place is a cafe however in the evening it certainly feels a little more upclassy. Very much reminds me of my favourite gems in Montreal. Some caveats to ensure you have a good experience here: don't expect massive plates with stacked up food, it's not that kind of place. It is more about the flavors, good vibes and atmosphere. Especially if you are going out on a date. A little bit of luck: they don't take reservations and this place is small. Easier for two, but not impossible for a group of four. Certainly going back and hopefully luck will be on our side again!

WOW! What CAN'T Corner Peach do well!?!? Everything I've tried there from ice cream, donuts, sandwiches, pizza and focaccia is amazing! The atmosphere and staff are super great. Can't wait for this spot to operate as a full restaurant again.

A quick stop for a coffee date. Pretty small/intimate/limited seating. Cappuccino was fab! Also had a cup of tomato dill soup. Super tasty and pipping hot, which warms my heart and my belly. Service was friendly. Parking was touch and go. No reservations for lunch, so although it seems to be pretty yum, you definitely take your chances getting a seat when you venture off the beaten track for this place. Next time I might be inclined to try dinner since they do take reservations for this. Overall, thumbs up!

I found the decaf Americano had too sour an aftertaste for me, but the orange chocolate chip cookie was good. The Long Version: I've heard of the Ottawa Bike Cafe and have been meaning to try it for some time now and have finally gotten around to it. My husband and I were on one of our "food and drink weekend adventures" where we go to a bunch of places that are new-to-us and get a little something to share at each place. Like a food crawl, lol. Anyway the Ottawa Bike Cafe was one of our stops. We got a medium decaf Americano ($3.70) and an Orange Chocolate Chip Cookie ($4). My husband liked the coffee and he rated it 4/5. He's more of a coffee connoisseur than I am, so his assessment on coffee is likely more trustworthy than mine, lol. I found the coffee bitter with too much of a sour aftertaste, but I'm one of those people who like flavoured syrup in my coffee (whereas my husband thinks flavoured coffee is gross and drinks his coffee black. We got the coffee black by the way). I enjoyed the Orange Chocolate Chip Cookie, although I only had a few small bites as the hubby ate most of it, haha. I liked that the orange flavour was noticeable. It was a nice twist on the traditional chocolate chip cookie. It was a bit too buttery for my preference and a tad too crumbly, but otherwise a pretty good cookie. Service was pleasant. The place was packed. Decor and ambiance I would describe as hipster cool. If you like popular places that are bustling, this is the place to be. I personally like quieter places with fewer people (although sadly this usually means that places I like don't always stick around). Our visit was in March. I imagine that this place is even busier in the summer. It's on the stretch of Sparks Street that is pedestrian only, so great for people watching if you sit by the window or on the patio during the warmer months when they have outdoor seating. Street parking only. Review #54 (2026)
