Finally something new and different opened in town. This place is simply amazing. So far my favorite is the Korean beef bowl. The meat is very tender and flavorful cooked in veggies served over rice. This is a gem in Tujunga A family run restaurant that serves freshly cooked meals. Portions are ample -for an average eater you can have dinner and take some for lunch the next day. Being friends m out of the area, we stumbled across this hip little American/Korean cafe. Thanks to In-n-Out's outrageous line in the street we would never have found this gem. Don't let the outside fool you. They offer Korean noodles with Korean BBQ beef. The burgers were very good. The Mamas Pastrami, was yummy. The Smokehouse sandwich had so much flavor! I would give zero stars if I could. I made a phone order to this place and I was told it will take 20-30 minutes. This restaurant does not fit the vibe of Tujunga/ Northern Glendale. I appreciate the "upscale" attempt, but Corner Grill is in the wrong location. They should have established in La Canada or somewhere a bit more pricey in real estate. Price is very high for the amount and quality of food you get. Owners raised prices by 20% within 2 years. Making this place borderline too expensive to dine at for the average neighborhood consumer. Think DTLA food prices in a small suburban neighborhood. Really makes no sense if accommodating the local population. Hence there is little value here. Food is just an upscale version of local eatery. I.e. Yaki, etc.. Don't get me wrong, the food is edible and at best, solid. However, the price is way too high for what you get. Tips on improving. Lower your prices, this ain't no Beverly Hills or Westwood. Also give a bigger portion size, the bowls and meat quantity amounts are way too small for what you pay here. read more

Came in for lunch and got the Seoul Fire Burger with fries. It was excellent! The burger patty was beautifully grilled and really tasty, topped with spicy korean pork BBQ and cheese. The fries were thick and really crisp. Top notch! Lost a star because the service was really slow. It looked like they were missing a person from the shift and the cook was also handling the register. Overall, the decor was great, the place is attractive and clean, and the staff were friendly if a little harried. I definitely plan on trying them again soon! read more

This place has been a very welcome addition to the community. The teriyaki combo plate is delicious and very well portioned. The pastrami sandwich is great as is the Seoul Fire burger. We took our friends here and they were equally satisfied. KBBQ fries are legit too. Some reviews here have complained about the wait, but this place isn't a fast food establishment. I have been to Corner Grill a couple times before and was totally impressed. But today i arrived around 11:10 and it was dark inside and the sign said closed. The door was unlocked so I went in and asked if they were open. I young Asian girl stayed that yes they were in a snappy tone. I then asked what time they opened. Again she snapped at 11:00....we are open in a very unfriendly, irritated voice. I looked at the menu in the wall for several minutes and waited for her to look up and help me. When she didn't I simply walked out. The two times I've eaten there before the good and service was excellent. I'm not sure what her problem was but I left and went next door to Los Burritos which is always delicious and excellent service. read more

Never going back no employer has the right to treat employees this way. Didn't have a very good experience here was overcharged for putting cheese on fries when it clearly says on the menu side orders Fry's 295 cheese $1 and they charge me $9.95 for bacon ranch fries and when I asked why they overcharge they said the manager said to because they can't just put cheese on the fries and on top of that I've been sitting here for 45 minutes waiting for my order not happy at all I just hope when I finally do get my order maybe it might change my opinion read more
