Not impressed AT ALL with this place. I had the Dana Point sandwich and it said that it had avocado in it, that's actually why I chose this sandwich...tuna with avocado. I am scouting out all the eateries by my office and I read the good reviews, so I said I have to check it out. I am glad I did. This place is definitely on my rotation. I ordered the Siam Sam: A chicken sandwich with a thai peanut sauce - $5.99 and the chip and drink combo for $1.89 more. The total was $8.60. The sandwich was very good. The bread was soft, the chicken was moist and the peanut sauce had a little kick to it. The sandwich didn't look that big. However, I was so full afterwards, I had to save my chips for later. The ambiance is basic sandwich shop: Some tables, a counter and a TV. The place was still full when I arrived @ 1 pm (a good sign): 3 Stars. The service was really good. The cashier (appeared to be the son of the Korean owner), was super nice, the food came out quickly and they don't charge for drink refills: 4 Stars. You have to hand it to family places like this. 2nd time getting my subwich here. 1ST STAR - The taste of the food is above and beyond compare to other deli places I've been to. They have the regulars deli but they are known for their SPECIAL DELIS which I know a MUST TRY for everyone. I've had their California Sandwich it's like BLT but with turkey and I've also ordered their DANA POINT it had tuna (cold), lettuce, tomato, avocado, and pickles on the side. 2ND STAR - Their subs are not regular size foot long but bigger which they cut in half. They also put a lot of filling inside the bread so you could bring extra bread and have more sandwich LOL which I did and brought to work for lunch. 3RD STAR - The restaurant is clean and presentable with HD TV. 4.5 I've been here twice total. Once when I was on my way back from Vegas in 2012 and over a month ago with the fambam. So it was time to finally write my review. I've never been to sammie spot and saw fries on the menu but it made my sister very happy. Started grubbing and you know food is good when were all quiet LOL. All the ingredients shined on their own. Im usually a turkey or tuna sammie girl but this prime rib sandwich hit the spot. The creamy horseradish sauce was crack! The cheese was oooey gooey and the grill onions were cooked perfectly. My moms Korean bbq sandwich was good, just lacked a heavy amount of that sauce they put in their Kbbq sammies. Again a super fresh sandwich with each ingredient standing apart on their on. Even though my sister only does turkey, mayo,cheese and mustard on her sandwiches, it still tasted great! The clam chowder was really good. I honestly had low expectation of it but I was quite pleased. My sister told me the potato salad tasted store bought LOL. Its all good everything else was just so damn good! I've been here a few times (not recently though I must admit) and every time I go, it does not disappoint. The bread is always fresh, the deli meat is premium for sure and the toppings are far from just a basic sandwich. There are so many different sandwiches to choose from that you seriously can't go wrong and if you see one you want, but want to substitute they're okay with it without an extra charge (on most items). They also have a few options to choose from for the sides as well. When they allowed dinning in, they never made you feel rushed to leave which is also a plus. read more

This little shop is tucked in the corner by Rubio's and Jamba Juice right off the freeway to Ontario Mills. They have a 2-in-1 great idea where they have a giant menu on the outside of their store, which also acts like a sunscreen for their patrons who decide to dine-in. It makes the ordering process much easier to see rather than hold up the line inside. Parking can be sparse, but not too bad where you have to avoid this place like the plague. The sandwich choices Patch P. and I chose are their Seoul Fire and Classic Italian Sub. Both came out to be a little under $15 and were huge portions! We split half of each and were plenty full with a soda from Costco lol. They're cold sandwiches, so don't expect them to be hit like I did for the Seoul Fire. Great Deli Sandwiches!! The meat was so plentiful and flavors were wonderful. I had the Italian sub and it was so plentiful I could only eat half. My hubby had the the Penguin (not sure why they call it that). It's a turkey, bacon, avocado on squaw bread. He said its was good but he wanted more bacon (who doesn't!). Both were good choices. The one star deduction is simply because the bread was not the best we have had. Not that it was bad, it's just average bread. We have tasted better better (there's always someone better), but not in the immediate area. I loved the outdoor seating & Service was super friendly. We got two of the Tiesday specials: Korean BBQ, chips, & soda for $8.50 each. Not a bad deal, especially when this place is rated so highly. The pepper jack cheese on top was great and the k-beef was delicious. I do think the beef is missing something. Maybe a little spice, pepper, or a lil kick to it. There was flavor but I felt it was a little dull. The beef had enough flavor but to put it over the edge it needed a little more. The downside to this sandwich was they don't drain the beef enough, so the bottom of the French roll is soggy wet. Nothing is worse than a soggy bread, unless you're into that kinda thing. There was hair in my sandwich and I told them. They made me a new one along with an apology and a gift cert right when they gave me a new sandwich. That is how you fix a problem and that is customer service. Not these other places that just say sorry and made you another meal. That isn't good enough. All in all, service is top notch, flavors are above average, although it still doesn't top my favorite sandwich place in Indio, CA. I would come back again to try the other different sandwiches. Was recommended this place from a friend. We got the Mother Clucker add pickles w/ no tomato, the B.L.A.T added cucumber and pickles, and the Burning Feather. And an order of fries Ordered through grub hub. We did a pickup so everything was fresh and ready right when it said it would be which was a plus. Everything was really clean inside which was nice especially with the Rona epidemic. As far as the food goes- The chicken and the coleslaw in the mother clucker had no flavor. And the coleslaw on it was soo wet the whole sandwich was just a mess of wet bread. I understand that coleslaw is wet but if you're putting it on bread you would think maybe straining it might be a good idea to prevent the sandwich being completely mush and falling apart. The B.L.A.T had mayo in it. We only asked for mustard. Thankfully my daughter ate it with no qualms and said it was really good. The Burning Feather was no joke. It was burning. To the point where it made me gag a little. The flavor was okay but the heat kind of overwhelmed that flavor. And it kind of smelt a little off. I would definitely never recommend this for someone who only likes a little heat. I wish I could say this a good meal...it was edible but won't be back. This little deli is delicious! I ordered the Dana Point (tuna) without cheese or avocado, on an Italian roll, with a side of sweet potato fries. The sandwich was HUGE, and delicious. Perfect amount of tuna salad with lettuce and tomato. The sweet potato fries were so, so, so good. I didn't get to eat them piping hot, but even warm, they were good. He was right, the sandwiches are amazing! They even have unique and funny names for their concoctions. It does get crowded here, especially during the weekday lunch rush.
