Ample comfortable seating options for socializing, working or chillin (free WI-Fi), with couches, large tables and bar seating. The inside is modern, clean and bright, something I gladly welcome as a contrast to the average grungy and/or dim coffee shops here in mpls. Staff is super friendly and fast. I love their coffee Chillers and recently they very generously served a free meal for the entire community, it was super delish and fun! I work in the warehouse district and visit Corner Coffee pretty much every day. Aside from the convenience, the staff at this location is nothing short of AWESOME. They're always more than willing to get you what you need and have gone above and beyond on numerous occasions. Here is a rundown of my favorite items: 1. Large black coffee-simple but awesome 2. Triple Espresso w/ cream-for those early mornings 3. Ham sandwich with hummus and lettuce-my lunch usual 4. Peanut butter rice krispies-YUMo! The service was quick and very friendly, and they have a variety of seating options (tables, couches, bar stool by the windows, etc). I've come here a few times for lunch as it's only a couple blocks away from my place. It's comfortable & casual with lots of seating. The staff is always friendly when you come in. The create-your-own-sandwich option is awesome as I'm usually "that girl" who asks for substitutions. Bread is always fresh & tastes better than anything I could possibly make myself. While this shop definitely isn't on the corner, it's still worth going to if you're in the neighborhood! read more

I love Corner Coffee. They are located across the street from my office, so I often find myself going here for lunch. They have a nifty little system of ordering your sandwich...they have you fill out a slip of paper, where you can be super specific on your sandwich order, for example, they let you choose whether you want your bread toasted, or the whole sandwich toasted, and I love that they let you choose half sandwiches! Speaking of sandwiches, their wild rice and cranberry bread is amazing on a BLT. They also have an amazing array of magazines to read if you find yourself eating alone! read more

It is OK for a neighborhood coffee shop. They have so much potential..... I don't like the whole church thing on sunday's either... kind of weird. I use to go here all the time but then the prices became a little too high. I don't go there because of that on principal. The food menu is un-inspired and the pastry is just low-quality. Location gives them this rating but I am hoping a new coffee shop opens up in one of the new developments so that I can walk there instead. read more

Great place, albeit in an odd location, but once you find it you'll come back again and again. You have to try the cranberry wild rice bread, as toast or on a breakfast sandwich. Full disclosure: I'm a huge sourdough fan, and their sourdough is pretty stinking good, but I stick to the cranberry wild rice bread just about every time. Coffee's good, though they have changed suppliers (not by choice, the older one closed down, I believe). It gets busy during the week around lunch, lots of sandwiches and stuff, and there's free live music on Saturday morning. That can get a little weird at times, but whatever, it's free. Parking can be a drawback when it's busy, but don't let it keep you away. read more

I really love this place. First off the atmosphere is great. Its an adorable little shop, and they occassionally have live music, which of the last two times I went (a friday night and a saturday morning) was really enjoyable. The people are friendly and I really enjoy their coffee (which you get atleast one free refill on while you're there) I've tried the chicken salad sandwich and that was really really good. I also tried a breakfast sandwich, which was okay. The food items are a little pricey which is why I gave it a 4. There is also a little parking lot next to the shop, which is nice. read more

Won't be returning. The other day I purchased a expensive drink and took a seat to finish the rest on my notes for work. I wasn't finished at all but oddly the baristas decided it was time to redecorate where I was sitting. Weird right? They kept on moving the couch and pounding nails as I was trying to finish a call and do case notes. The kicker was when I was asked to move!! I just left because I felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome here. It's sad because I like CC, but I don't like how I was treated. Was it really important to hang up pictures right then and there? I don't think I needed to move all of my stuff because the staff felt like decorating. read more

(What was going to be my ***** review.) This is my favorite downtown coffee shop so far and it's just another reason why the North Loop/Warehouse District is my preferred corner of Downtown. I already knew I'd be a fan when I saw that they have coffee cup shaped bike racks complete with a little curvy steam on top. The interior is very well done and you can choose from the bar lining the front windows which has outlets galore for laptops, or hang out with a book on one of the sofas and they even have a little stage for live music. I noticed that included in the available reading material is a book on interior design and it's obvious that was a major focus for this spot. Of course, visuals only get you so far and the espresso I had thankfully matched the amount of attention paid to the interior design and the pecan bran muffin was a pleasant surprise with the caramelized sugar: who wouldn't like that? (Well, OK if you have diabetes here's a heads up.) (What made that glowing review drop to just *.) There was a fundraiser for Burmese refugees with %100 of all proceeds from coffee purchases that day to be used for aide, such as food, which I planned to partake in, but not mentioned anywhere on the flyer was the fact that this aide included evangelizing efforts (you had to go to the website to find that out). Taking advantage of unsuspecting customers who bought coffee that day and weren't made aware that they were paying for evangelizing vunerable, starving people in Myanmar is crossing the line. If you're going to be using my money for hunger efforts with a side of bible-bashing then at least be up front about it so that I can at least respect that. A shame, because it was a new found top ten spot for me. C'est la vie. read more

There's space along the windows with plenty of outlets (free wifi, of course) as well as tables and comfy chairs of different sizes...basically a chair for every style of preference. I have been going there for the past few weeks. I really enjoy their breakfast foods... I got a bowl the first time and and wrap today. Both delicious. You can customize what you get or you can pick a preset option. There is muffins, oatmeal, and cookies too. The coffee is good too! I just like plain hot coffee or iced. The coffee is great I am not sure about any other drinks they have. They sound great though. Its got a great atmosphere for sitting, I usually take it to go. I think they sometimes have live music as well... I would recommend this to a friend it is a bit pricey though. read more

This place was easy to get to from the light rail and super comfy. I went there on a Saturday morning and there was live music and an event going on in target field. Best breakfast sandwich in town! Order a bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich and you will not be disappointed. They make everything fresh and you can taste the difference! If you are being healthy and avoiding carbs, you can get two scrambled eggs, protein and cheese in a bowl. Delish. Coffee is not bad either. I love coming here! I used to come here once in a while but now that I own my place across the street it's pretty convenient. The staff here is warm and inviting and always remembers your name. Well at least I can speak for myself. The atmosphere is nice and warm and they have free wifi, but now-a-days it would be a shame not to. I like the coffee here but what I really go for is the Pineapple smoothies. They are pretty busy in the morning but it's laid back in the afternoon. Love it! read more

I recently started working a few blocks away and have tried several restaurants/sandwich shops in the immediate area. Corner Coffee is easily my favorite. A pleasant space to linger when I have time, and when I don't I can easily order online and pick up from their convenient lunch locker. The food has been consistently good. My favorite so far is the Solo Melt. Corner Coffee has a nice casual atmosphere; delicious, reasonably priced food and pleasant service. What more could you ask for? read more
