    delicious tea selection
    Kaitlin U.

My mom and I stopped in here one afternoon in October for a tea and a chat. They have a great tea selection, but I can't seem to find it online. I think I ordered a tea with Machu Picchu in the name, or a play on that. Corner Coffee's such a lovely spot. I'd recommend it for working remotely, catching up with a friend, reading, or just for sitting somewhere other than work or home. We ended up sitting next to someone who was working and brought their dog. It was a great time. We walked from one end of the North Loop to the other for this coffee shop so I have no idea how parking is in the area. The bathroom is a shared bathroom with other businesses nearby.

Corner coffee continues to be one of my favorite coffee shops! I love the plants and cozy vibes. There are great places to sit and focus on a good environment. It's much quieter than other coffee shops and much more relaxed, which is great for working, connecting with friends, or reading a book. Service is always great and the staff is friendly. I always order the Nordic Latte- my favorite latte!!

Really great spot! I am visiting the area and I already came here twice and got their seasonal pistachio drink. I also got their Caramel and cardamom drink. What I like about their drinks is the fact that it's not too sweet and it's more focus on the coffee itself. The ambiance is very spacious and very beautiful, the people are very nice here. Felt very welcomed!

Great coffee and servers! Neat little spot we had been to under different owners a few years back. (Live music) No live music now but the servers knew their stuff and were so helpful.

In June, I took myself out on a coffee date once a week to a place new-to-me :) Cue Corner Coffee! I could tell this was a place where people like to gather or work from the cafe. The decor was cute and inviting, and there was ample comfy seating! They have a small parking lot which is appreciated in the cities! The seasonal drinks menu was fun! I have a strawberry matcha. It was perfectly sweet and matcha-y :) The prices were high, I will say that. But the staff was friendly and quick. I would come back for another fun menu item, or maybe a pastry next time!

The service was great and the worker was very friendly and knowledgeable with the questions we asked. It seems like a great place to come and work even tho we just stopped in for coffee and food! The ambiance is chill, calm and quaint. The drinks were good and the burrito was very tasty!

Met here for a business meeting. The staff was plenty friendly and efficiently took my order. It's not a big place but it was easy to find a table. I got a dark coffee and a coffee cake. The coffee was honestly very bitter and didn't taste very good. I didn't get a refill. The coffee cake was ok but very very dense and I did not finish it. We had a nice meeting but I wasn't overly impressed.

I love this neighborhood coffee spot, only bummer is they're closed on Sundays The seasonal/specialty lattes have unique twists which I adore. The Nordic latte's touch of cardamom is a go to of mine! I do wish there was a stronger espresso flavor to it though. The chocolate milk cold brew too is awesome if you want a sweeter treat. Small but nice tables to work at with wifi if needed!

During the weekend, I like to tour around local coffee shops, exploring their menu and spend some down time managing my life. Corner Coffee is a cozy shop in North Loop that lets me do that with great sandwiches and drinks. My favorite sandwich has to be the tuna melt and sub the default toast for cranberry - trust me, it's super good. The chicken curry sandwich is a close second. For drinks, they have a seasonal menu that I gravitate towards so I don't get the same thing. However I haven't had any drinks I didn't like. Their staff are friendly and I've always had a positive experience.

Wonderful selection of baked goods and drinks per the season. I got the everything bagel handpie filled with cream cheese and charred scallions it was delicious and just enough flavor to start my day off with a kick. Salty and savory this paired extremely well with the limited time item (my favorite items always) STRAWBERRY MILK MATCHA From strawberry cows to my stomach this made me so happy Unfortunately I had started eating the pastry before I took a photo... but please go here if you are downtown! I'll probably go back tomorrow. Uptown location is my normal spot but this one has a bigger pastry selection.... IMPORTANT! YUM! Thank you

Took a nice long morning walk with my partner to grab coffee and breakfast here. Great and spacious space, although parking is a bit challenging if you are driving. I got the seasonal special - matcha apple pie and it was not my favorite as it was too sour and the apple flavoring tasted a bit artificial to me - I also got the turkey club which was mid. My partner got the hot chocolate and it's fantastic! It's milky, but not too sweet - he also got the Uber-ito which is pretty good too. The staff is nice - food & drinks overall are a mix.

Headed here on a Thursday morning to pick up a quick breakfast before work. No one in line to order despite the time of day, so had to order on the fly. Settled on a Drip Coffee and a danish-like pastry (total $10.75). Coffee isn't too bad, needed a good amount of milk and sugar to balance it out. Pastry has a fruit filling in it, though overall is quite dense. Fine enough to pair with the coffee. Service here is good and they seem to have enough tables for groups to stop inside. Would prefer some more grab and go options with the coffee.

I think Caffetto kind of corners a market that no one else has by being open so late--most coffee shops are barely open past noon, and they're open until midnight! I've personally spent many a late night there finishing up work--it's a really cozy atmosphere, and the selection of pinball machines in the basement are the perfect study break activity. The staff are all great and even when there's a line, they get through it quick and are still able to offer great recommendations--while I usually prefer an iced green tea with no ice, I've tried the lattes, cold press, Thai coffee, and hot chocolate and have genuinely never had a bad drink here. The only thing is to make sure you watch your step if you're walking in the basement--even though it has seating and pinball and the bathroom, it's more of an unfinished space with uneven flooring and I personally rolled my ankle and fell there last year haha.

I had a triple decaf almond milk latte that tasted like it was caffeinated to me but didn't give me the buzz I'm so addicted to, that's when you know it's a good decaf. I love the coziness and the unique artwork in Caffetto. I look forward to coming back at an earlier hour to feed my addiction. But it's great to know I have a go to coffee shop for those afternoon cravings where the decaf tastes just as delightful! UPDATE- 2 hours later: there's additional seating and a pinball machine room in the basement, glad I went downstairs to the bathroom.

The soaring industrial ceilings, massive windows pouring in natural light, dark wood shelving, plants everywhere, books, artwork, vintage decor, and incredible lighting somehow make the whole place feel both grand and peaceful. It's the kind of space where you immediately want to cancel your plans and spend the entire afternoon reading, working, or simply existing. Every direction you look feels thoughtfully designed. One thing I couldn't find online beforehand was whether there would be places to plug in my laptop. Thankfully, there are plenty of outlets, making it a fantastic place to work. Even better, despite its size, the atmosphere stays calm and quiet. It never felt loud or chaotic. The drinks were excellent. I tried the Lime Creamsicle Iced Matcha and later ordered a hot matcha, complete with a beautiful heart poured into the milk. I especially appreciated that they use what tasted like genuine, high-quality matcha rather than the overly sweet, filler-heavy mixes that so many coffee shops rely on. You can absolutely taste the difference. I also picked up two pastries: an artichoke and cheese croissant (I think it was Gouda?) and the coffee cake. Both were delicious, but that coffee cake deserves its own paragraph. It was huge, incredibly moist and rich, and served in a large paper liner almost like an oversized cupcake. I'd happily go back just for that. If I had one wish, it would simply be for the menu to match the creativity of the space. The coffee, tea, and espresso selections felt a bit limited considering how unique everything else is. This seems like the perfect place to experiment with fun specialty drinks and elevated touches. Imagine pink peppercorn on a cortado, mint dust on a cappuccino, unique flavored cold foams, rotating seasonal teas, or other creative finishes. The environment practically begs for a menu that's just as imaginative. The staff interaction was fine but didn't really stand out. When I asked whether they recommended the Lime Creamsicle Matcha, the response was basically, "I mean... it tastes like a lime creamsicle." It wasn't unfriendly, just not especially engaging. The prices are definitely on the higher end, but between the stunning atmosphere, quality ingredients, and excellent pastries, I'd happily return. Backstory isn't just somewhere to grab coffee. It's somewhere you want to linger. If you're looking for one of the most beautiful, calming coffee shops in Minneapolis, this belongs at the top of your list.

It was so unreliable that it made getting work done almost impossible, which is a pretty significant downside for a coffee shop.
