This review is strictly for the one time I've been here, not an overall experience across multiple visits. I enjoyed my experience sitting outdoors. When I first stepped in, I came across bags of sweet crisps with raisins. These bags caught my eye and I wanted to try one. I asked the cashier if they sold them by the piece. Cashier gave me 3 pieces and served them warm and toasted with butter. I had these with an iced coffee and absolutely loved it. I like the aura and I definitely love the sweet crisps they have here. We used this Corner Bakery Cafe's catering services for the morning of our wedding. Not knowing about the location on Lake, we went to another location to place the order and we were told that the order would be passed on to this location since it was closer. I got an email confirmation and thought everything was all set, but decided to call the night before to reconfirm. I deducted a star because when I called they did not have my order and they had no idea what I was talking about. Had I not called to confirm, it probably would've been a complete disaster, but after being placed on hold three times, they sorted it out and found my order. The morning of my wedding, a very nice woman arrived to our hotel on time and set everything up for us in my tiny hotel room. The food was good, the price was reasonable, and our order was correct, so overall I was really happy with everything. I'm pretty sure we weren't charged for delivery, so that's a huge plus. Just make sure if you place a catering order with them, you call to make sure that they haven't overlooked your order. read more

Staff doesn't seem want to work there and I think I know why. The manager, did not catch the gentlemen's name has a bad attitude and seems like he has no intention to provide decent answer when asked about questions. yum, corner bakery! i always get the corner combo ($7.29) which comes with 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 soup or salad. the california grille panini is soo good. i'm usually really hesitant about ordering vegetarian cuz i love my meat... but mmm this was good. tomato basil soup...so much flavor. not too thick not too watery. just perfect. this location has plenty of outdoor sitting which is nice since i spend way too much time indoors anyways. theres something about eating outdoors that makes you appreciate your food so much more. the food came out super quick... but i went around 6pm on a sunday so there wasn't much of a crowd. but excellent service, delicious sandwiches, ok prices, tarty lemonades, pretty diverse variety of baked goodies, and perfect location. try it! read more

I visit this location quite often. They have a really good team here (friendly, warm and very helpful). I love their salads, pastas and my fav is the chilled berry swiss oatmeal. They do have long lines thats because they are so popular. I really like to see the calorie count next to each item. My only recommendation to them is to manage the crowds a little better. They have really good sandwich and salad combos or sandwich and soup combos. Ample indoor and outdoor seating. I prefer indoor than outdoor seating. I used to go to Panera until I found out about Corner Bakery. They serve pretty much the same stuff but theirs surpasses them in quality and in taste. The service is great and people are usually friendly. Most of the time I order the panini with the soup (broccoli cheddar). The meals also come with a dill pickle and some fresh potatoe chips which go great with a side of ranch dressing. It's usually pretty packed on weekends but we always end up getting a table pretty quick. The workers there are meticulous with cleaning the dirty tables and are quick about it. The place also has free wifi which is a plus since I don't have internet on my phone. It's a great place to go for a quick and yummy bite. It's about 10 bucks a person so the prices are pretty fair and the parking is great since they're located near a Sears which no one shops at. hahaha. Yay! I'm a fan. read more

This is one of my favorite places to eat after shopping at Macy's. My favorite is the Uptown Turkey, except I ask for it lightly toasted because if not, they make it very close to burnt! I've also tried their pastas, but something I always order is the Uptown Turkey. It comes with some chips and a pickle. I met up with my friends there to catch up and eat lunch. This was my first time but my friends were sort of surprised I've never been, little did they know I probably won't be going back after this time. There was plenty of seating and wasn't crowded or noisy, good environment. I ordered a Pesto Whachamacallit combo and sat down with my friends. About 5-10 minutes passed and my friend's food all arrive. (Note that I hadn't eaten anything all day and that I was pretty damn hungry) So I sat there for another 20 minutes waiting for my food. I ask one of the waitresses about my food and they disappear for another 5 minutes only to come back and say "it'll be out soon" So I'm sitting there for an overall... 45-50 minutes waiting for food and it finally comes. The food is o-k, the caesar salad I got was bland, the pesto whachamacallit had little or no flavor, just a creamy pesto texture. The food itself, nothing special, not really worth going out of my way to get food. At least it was pretty hot and "fresh" as far as I know :) But they were veeeery sincere about forgetting to make my food and first offered me a choice of anything from the baked goods and gave me 2 M&M cookies (probably the reason I didn't give it any lower stars). read more
