I LOVE sandwich places, and this has been a favorite since we lived in California. This is one of my Pop's favorite spots as well, so we eat breakfast here a lot when we come visit. I love the Anaheim scrambler, and I always ask for extra avacado. I like their sandwiches and I really like their hazelnut coffee. Meh- decent selection of salads, sandwiches and pasta, but the actual food isn't that good. It tends to be oversalted, the salads are drowning in dressing, and it's definitely not food that is good for you. Their baked goods are pretty delicious and their serving sizes are fair. This place is a good bet for a group of people with diverse tastes or picky eaters- everybody will be sure to find something palatable. We went there for breakfast last weekend while visiting El Paso, TX. It's cute restaurant. I liked the fact that they have crayons and paper for the kids to play. We have a toddler and she enjoyed that too. Very easy and convenient, you can see the menu as soon as you enter the building, your order, they give you a number and they bring your food when your food's ready. It's a very nice place with a very nice atmosphere. It wasn't too packed when we went. Coffee's good- You can also get refills which is nice. We had paninis for breakfast and, overall, I find the food was tasty but way overpriced but if the extra $$ is worth a different ambiance for your meal, this is the place to go. read more

Great place, great food. Was pleasantly surprised that this wasn't a southern style comfort food place like I thought I would be. Very diverse menu for a food snob like me. Love the decor and casual, yet classy ambience. Love that they have wifi so I could get work done while having lunch. We went for an early breakfast while on a road trip. Being famished, this place did the trick. The food was well priced and the service was on point. Terrible customer service. Online catering order was placed one day before. When we arrived to pickup, the order was not ready. The order was supposed to be ready in "20 minutes" but it took over 35 minutes to just get an update. We had to go to the counter for an update as we were not approached by any employee except when they need my signature for payment. We had to move our event to a later time, as they were unprepared. When we finally got our order (1hr later) the order was incorrect and missing several items. They had to leave multiple times to get all of our items. read more

Their food is made from scratch, except for the scrambled eggs-- seems like they use the carton stored kind-- their pancakes are amazing, and their steel cut oatmeal is creamy. This is a cute bakery. It reminds me of Einstein Bagel/Panera bread feel. We ordered breakfast: The Ham and Swiss Panini with fruits and orange juice. Customer service was excellent and everyone was friendly. Food is great and bakery items are fresh! The one thing I did not like was when I ordered orange juice, I expected fresh orange juice, not odwalla oj and the juice was expire and I informed the manager and changed it to another juice. This place was awesome. My husband and I visited this location at lunch time on a weekday and even though it was busy, the management had the restaurant adequately staffed. Because of this, there was no long wait (we received our food, found a table and ate our lunch within minutes of entering the building). This is very helpful when you have a set time for lunch. Since I am a very good cook, I am overly critical of other peoples culinary skills, so my husband and I both ordered something simple-- the chicken soup and sandwich combo. I have to say hands down that the soup was delicious-- I admit that it was really good and I was stubbornly impressed. Our waitress was busy with other tables, but there was another girl on the floor that floated around making sure that everyone had what they needed- drinks, extra silverware, etc. My husband and I felt welcome and comfortable. In the four years that I have lived here in El Paso, this is the first place that I have visited where I was impressed with the Service System of a restaurant. Hats off to the management team of The Corner Bakery and Cafe on George Dieter. We will visit again. read more

Stopped for Saturday lunch at 11:45, not too busy, so no problems getting food out fast. The place is very spacious, very clean, and operated very efficiently. There are busboys/busgirls circulating constantly to keep the tables clean. Both my husband and I really liked our food -- we each got a combo: 1/2 sandwich and a cup of tomato basil soup. My "turkey cobb" sandwich really good, left me wishing I'd opted for a whole sandwich! Husband enjoyed his sandwich also, and we both thought the soup was good. Two lunches (served w/chips and pickle spear), one bottled water and one iced tea (bottomless) came to $20.00. Some might think that's high, but we can't wait to go back. I'd rather pay a little more and eat really good food in a pleasant surrounding. read more

Today I purchased several pastries to take out of town. I tasted one of the packs at home, and didnt taste too good. I called the store and spoke to a supervisor. She was very helpful and great to deal with. If the store manager reads this, Paulina handled the situation great, and fixed the issue. Went above and beyond for us and it was greatly appreciated. We have always Loved this place so today after a post tonsillectomy scare we decided to find our son some good soft comfort food. Got him the oatmeal but had too many berries and apples for him to eat easily. Manager was walking around making sure all was good and all I asked was if soup was available. She went back and came back with a cup of soup for him to sip. We were so pleased with this small act of kindness that we just had to post about it. Not only is the food great, but customer service like that is memorable. We are so thankful for this during a time when our kiddo wasn't feeling his best. read more

We were passing through and when I take a road trip - breakfast always has to be sit down and eat. I found this along our route and I loved it. It's in a great part of town. Saw the across the stree from ROss. Decided i was going to try there for lunch,i went in with my 2 year old baby girl. Was grreeted by a nice lady. i think she was the manger at that time. Snice she saw i was with my daughte she offer me a kids mean. I thought it was nice of her to be so thoughtful. I order half of a sandwhich and a cup of soup that came with a bag of chips. It was a turkey panini. It was good enought to say i would go back here to try their other sandwiches. it was was grill just right where everythign just fell right into place. With the nice warm melted cheese and juicy tomatos. I order a kids meals Mac and Cheese for my daughter. i order it with a side of fresh fruits and apple juice. I like that it wasnt the reg KRAFT in a Box. Did i forget to mention that the BOWL WAS HUGE for a little girl. The only down fall bout this place that i didnt like is that their waitress walk around collection the empty bowls. I went to the bathroom to change my little girl and they took our food away. I was done e my lunch but my daught r wasnt. The girl said sorry and went to the manger and they replace my daughters mac and cheese, apple juice and my soda. We took it to go. My family and I really like the Corner Bakery. Great for lunch or dinner. I suppose a comparison to Panera is inevitable. Corner Bakery is less expensive and seems to have a bigger menu with more variety. Service has always seemed just fine to us. I give it three stars not because of any deficiencies, but because of the generic, chain restaurant nature of the place. It's good, just not incredible or unique enough to merit 4 stars. read more

A contemporary little nook that has a great breakfast. I love their farmers scrambler. For the first couple times I went and had their farmers scrambler, I didn't even realize it didn't have meat! No bacon, ham, or sausage! That's how good it is. I their hazelnut coffee is perfect. read more

honestly I love corner bakery it has amazing service. It's great how even though you order at a register in the front, the cafe's employees bring you your order to your table and are constantly asking you if you are doing fine. The cafe is clean and has a perfect place to use the restroom lol.
