Don't get me wrong, the pork roll, egg, and cheese bagels are good here. But this is Jersey, they're good in a lot of places. There's probably 3-5 other bagel shops within 3 miles that may be more worth you time. My last experience just didn't sit right with me. I ordered three of the before mentioned sandwiches and a chocolate milk. That came to $23.20. That makes each sandwich about $6.50 - $7, which is not a good price considering it all cost about a dollar or two to make. The bigger issue is the lack of personality of the staff. They always seem miserable. This was all capped off on my last visit when she rang me up for that $23.20, I handed her $24, she put the money in the register, shut it, and walked away. I just shook my head and left. I'm not saying I'll never go back, but I am looking forward to trying other bagel joints before I give this place my money again. read more

Worst food/dining experience of my whole life!!! Do not ever come here! The staff is very rude!! I once ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese and they called it out. I have a hearing impairment so I didn't hear it. The lady came over a second time and I told her it was mine. She started yelling at me for not getting it the first time. I told her I have a hearing problem and she walked away without saying sorry. 10 minutes later she sent a counter girl to give me a cookie. A cookie does not solve that problem. I just stopped in on Sunday December 25th, 2011 - Christmas Day around 15 minutes ago. Normally I wait a while to write my review - but the service of this place needed to be addressed immediately. I walked in to the counter - and placed a to go order for a Pork Roll, Egg, and Cheese on a Kaiser Roll, Pork Roll on a Kaiser Roll, and a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a Kaiser Roll. While the food did come out at a reasonable speed - line cook seemed to be working hard; the gentleman working the front counter who also appeared to be the owner was one of the rudest people I have encountered in awhile. He was gruff and extremely rude and not a pleasure to be around. As for the sandwiches at roughly $4.29 each - the ratio of cheese and egg to the sandwich was not the greatest. Each sandwich came with three slices of pork roll or bacon. I would recommend many other places over this one. I will not be back. read more

What I liked: I really liked the selection of food and they have some REALLY great french fries ( I'm a picky french fry eater). They also have a $5.00 Student and Local Biz menu which is really great for people who want to frequent a lot. A 5 dollar bill will get you a complete lunch and full-size bottle of water. For $2 more, you can get a side of soup. Prices are REALLY reasonable there and they have a selection, I would say, of over 200 kinds of drinks and coffee. What I didn't like: The attitude of the staff. I don't appreciate being hit on when I'm trying to eat my lunch and all these 18 year-old boys up front made me feel a little uncomfortable. They really need one mature ADULT up front to supervise them. I saw one staff member give someone the wrong order. The customer politely said he would just keep it. Not sure why such bad reviews. My bf and I had wraps for lunch and we were both very satisfied. We both had grilled chicken. I opted for the chipotle grilled chicken wrap special with avocado and my bf created his own with cheese, lettuce and tomato. They both came with a side of slaw, potato or macaroni salad and a pickle; what else can you ask for. Since the last time I've been here before Sandy; I noticed that they added a taco bar and Pizza. Food is good. Bagels are fresh. The down-side is that service can sometimes be slow and they can run out of popular bagel flavors on weekends. I would recommend getting your coffee elsewhere. Live around the corner and I've ordered from here when the wait is too long at round dough. For the quality, it's worth waiting rather than subjecting yourself to the corner bagelry. Today I ordered Toasted bagel with low fat veg cream cheese. They don't offer low fat veg, okay regular is fine. Walk over there and they forgot to put my order in. No problem we'll throw it right in.. Get home, regular plain cream cheese. Bummer. The bagels are not very good, they are compact and nowhere near as good as round dough. read more

I had the best breakfast sandwich ever from here. It's called Hog Heaven basically it's sautéed onions and peppers, topped with crispy home fries, Taylor ham, egg and cheese topped with bacon on a bagel. I loved it. The only thing that sucked about the place is they got a bunch of teens working there who kinda make you feel like they don't want you there. So service kinda sucks and unorganized. They didn't mess up my order. And didn't piss me off or anything so I can't complain. read more

Bagels were average. But they stole my money. I was there with two good friends. When my husband and I had to leave early, we paid for my friends, and the cashier assured me they had been covered. Staff is all right. I didn't have a bad experience but this place robs you for a couple of bagels even during the off season. Ran to this shop since it was close by and my sick friend wanted something to eat. For the price of two bagels I could have gotten a complete meal somewhere else. The new owner is not nice at all, and the food isn't that good either. I come here to lunch a lot because there isn't many affordable options around this area, and when I do my food isn't good and I have to here wise ass remarks from the owner. For example, when she came to my table once with food, she said what it was, but, I didn't hear her. So after five minutes she came back with the same food, and I said it's mine. She then started yelling out me to clean out my ears and listen better, AND THEN TOLD OTHER COSTUMERS NOT TO ACT LIKE US.... Unbelievable!! ALSO, everytime I get food from here it takes forever because she serves everyone else first, EVEN if the came AFTER me. So overall, I would highly recommend NOT going here. read more

Usually a frequent eater here because it's quick and the prices are reasonable. Today I called for two pork roll, egg, and cheeses with salt, pepper, and ketchup for pick up. I picked up my food and went home to realize there was NO cheese and NO salt, pepper, and ketchup. This was the worst, most upsetting experience I have ever had in any type of retail place, food and or deli. Not only did our food take forever and come out wrong but the owner and service people were so hostile and rude to the point I feared for my safety. To start off the woman who took our order didn't know what sautéed onions were or what a scooped out bagel was. I said whole wheat bagel she gave me an onion bagel, even after she verified my order. They gave my friend bacon that wasn't cooked and my other friend got a turkey egg white sandwich and was just a turkey sandwich. The silver-haired owner who runs checkout treated us in a rude, sarcastic and extremely abraisve manner. Directing us where exactly to wait for our food and put back the restroom key, it felt like we're were being treated like children when we are all adult, polite professionals. After having to wait almost 45 minutes and watch people who ordered before us get there rather large orders before ours, the ownerthrew my order on the table without saying thank you. When I went up to tell them my order was wrong the owner's wife grabbed it and made a drink for herself then just walked away. YOU messed up! Not ME! I own a business and would never treat people this way. On our way out the owner rudely interrupted a conversation we were having with another victim (I mean customer of theirs) came up to apologize and not only strong arms two of us and tries to apologize but tried to give excuses for the horrible service. Don't believe on the bad reviews, this place is awesome. Their menu is huge, they sell Mexican, Italian, healthy salads, deli wraps and sandwiches. Stop by two months ago for the first time and now I'm a regular. You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner from here and they offer delivery service. The owner is Italian and makes the best pizza in town. Coffee is excellent, the best cappuccino I've ever had. read more

This place is a dump the food is horrible. When you first walk in this place it's gross looks like they never clean and it smells. The tables were dirty with leftover food and grease and the food was horrible. When the egg salad sandwich came out I knew I was in trouble. I bit it twice and then was sick for the rest of the afternoon and had to go to the doctors. I tried to give the sandwich back to the rude man with the grey short hair and he said you ate it already with an attitude. So then I just threw out the sandwich and left. Also, the fries were greasy that could've gotten me sick also. On another note the soda machines seemed to have been broken the 2 times I went there. I tried to get sprite and pepsi came out.
