The store was recently remodeled, although in my opinion there was no need for the changes. There was only ONE thing the store really needs, that I mentioned in my last review, and that was not done! Overall I give the remodel a grade of D-. There is no point of listing all the things that changed for the worse... it's done. All the people working there are great; that didn't change! read more

I go to this Starbucks all the time and I do not usually leave reviews, but I was so impressed by the atmosphere, products and the service that I wanted to personally thank them. They do not rush you and are extremely friendly to everyone. There is an employee, Kristen, that I especially want to thank bc she knows my order every time I go to the store and that makes me feel like the customers are special. Thanks. read more

A very cool Starbucks with a cool vibe. The employees are very helpful and the place is nice. I understand that there was a remodel recently and I like the new vibe. Got my passioned iced tea (no extra sweetness and light on the ice - though I did have to ask for a few more cubes) and I was good to go! I love the outdoor space as well which gives an added option for the patrons! It's in a convenient strip mall next to a store that we were going to shop in! The parking is easy and that's wonderful as well.o read more

I wanted to just give a shout out to the pleasant staff at this location. The early morning crew was totally on top of their game this morning. Friendly, attentive and quick. Even left me a few minutes to enjoy my coffee at a nearby table. Cute little sbux in Sea Girt. Great local spot and a lot less hectic than the busier drive thru location up the road in Wall. Kudos to the team! read more

Love them here. Mia is amazing and always makes my drink the way I like! They are really friendly to my dog.

Typical Starbucks, this place can get quite crowded at times being located in a strip mall...

Great staff ! Friendly So accommodating and courteous Bravo to a wonderful team that works so well together. Tiffany the Mgr goes beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly even during the busiest hrs. read more

GOOD STUFF Don't live in the Sea Girt area. But was shopping and the plaza and I do like to stop into Starbucks wherever I am to grab a great cup of coffee. Starbucks is a chain that consistently has very high quality coffee. I don't really understand people who hate on Starbucks on terms of quality. On terms of corporate power, OK maybe you have an argument, even tho I agree and support many business decision Starbucks has made and continues to make. But enough about coffee politics, how's this Starbuck's? In a word, great. Coffee and baked goods are good and fresh. Service is friendly and helpful. Prices are exactly what you'd expect from Starbucks, which is to say that they're high. But get over it. You know walking in that the green Siren on the cup demands more of your wallet than other cheaper coffee places. Some can resist the call. I can't. I love Starbuck's. I know what I'm getting no matter where I am. And corporate will always right any differences if I call (and I only had to once or twice in the years I've been patronizing Starbucks). OVERALL: This is a typical Starbucks quality, which is to say high quality and price, with a little more upscale feel than others in the area. Mainly due to the rather upscale Sea Girt area. Recommended. :) read more

This isn't my first time here but it is for cold brew. I guess everyone is into making it now. That being said, whenever and wherever I go for a cold brew, the other places always shook it with the ice. This place didn't. Perhaps it's the barista or because they're too busy? Either way, their iced coffee was good. Not the kind where I'm dreaming about like Rooks but it's good. I know, I know.... Synonym for good is okay. Hence the three stars for that. So why does it read four star? More below. Sorry if I'm too verbose. The people who work here are quite nice. The station where they have extra sugar, stirrers and napkins are quite neat and clean. That means a lot to me as a patron. The nice part about being part of the Starbucks member is free refills on coffee or tea. Not specialty coffees but this does include iced teas and coffees. That's something they do have over Rooks. Oh, and they have seating for patrons. That helps us test our weary bones after a hard days work or at lunch. Thank you Starbucks for thinking of us patrons. Having all that come together, my cumulative assessment gives them four stars. It's the little things that can bump them an extra star. read more

Not sure why this Starbucks location has a 3-star rating, but the service is friendly and fast. The baristas are energetic and personable. I did notice that the location wasn't as clean as other Starbucks locations. But other than the cleanliness, I left happy and satisfied. Parking is ample as it's shared with other establishments in a plaza. read more

There are several Starbucks we go to while on the shore. This is one of them. Since Starbucks is a brand name and there for is supposed to be similar to the other Starbucks in the area and even nation wide, I can rate this a 2 star Starbucks. If this were my only experience with Starbucks I would have nothing to measure it against but since I go to Starbucks regularly both in NY and NJ I have to rate it 2 stars and would rate the others 4 or 5. I had to go here twice in about an hour because the first cup was like coffee flavored water. The first cup was a grande bold and it tasted like water with a slight coffee flavor. I went back and they said, you are back? I said yes the coffee was watered down they did not apologize or offer a discount. This never happens at other Starbucks anywhere. read more

New seating is the worst ever!!! Will have to move on , coffee with now only TWO soft seats . Forget about sitting comfortably checking emails, it's over !!! Must note : staff is excellent ! read more

Staff very quick and friendly. Bathrooms there are always dirty and outdated with some broken stuff. Food good and coffee always what I need. Can't wait until they move to new location. read more

Always had great service here and never had a bad order. I use the app 9 times out of 10 to pre order and it is always ready timely.

This is a stupid rant, but I literally don't care. I ordered a grande snickerdoodle latte, and they gave me a hot chocolate. I went up to the register and informed them that there had been a mistake, and asked if it would make it easier, they could just give me the two shots of espresso. She immediately gets annoyed, says that they are unable to do that, (okay fine, I understand). But then, she proceeds to tell me that if I want that as a latte in the future, that I need to specify the two shots. I say that I did specify that I wanted a latte. She says yeah but we need you to say specifically that you need to say that I want two shots. I'm sorry, but a grande latte from Starbucks is steamed milk and two shots espresso. I know this because I've worked for the company. I've worked at several coffee shops. They all have the same basic recipe. And the magic difference between a latte and a hot chocolate? Aside from syrup? Is espresso! Amazing! The secrets out! It's god damn finals week and you're gonna give me crap because you don't know the difference between a latte and a hot chocolate? Finally I get the drink, and they used the wrong milk. And you know what? I'm drinking it, knowing it's going to give me a stomachache because it was between getting it remade for the third time, or creating a yelp account. And obviously, we all know which thing won out. read more

Decided to go back because I figured they couldn't mess up one of their refreshers. I added coconut milk, and i was wrong. After drinking it in the dark in my car i noticed it tasted off, when i finally looked i noticed the coconut milk was clumping and absolutely disgusting. never ever ever going back read more

I have been coming here for a decent amount of time now and it seems like my drink has gotten worse. I've gotten the nitro cold brew every time and at first it was great but now it seems like there giving me half a coffee. For the price of the nitro cold brew I would expect the coffee to be filled more then halfway and less foam. read more

The music is way too loud. The music selection is good, but please lower the volume. It should not feel like a live band is playing in the store. read more

After a day in the sun having fun in Belmar I try to hit this place before heading home. It's located in a little strip mall with some better end women's clothing stores. Unlike my local Starbucks this place has some nice tables outside that the spruced up with some plants. They always seem to have few staff members working so I can get in and out quick. read more

I stopped in here because I was super early for my hair appointment at my salon down the street. The girl behind the counter was so friendly, and got me my order quickly. There is a nice seating area inside and outside. It has that typical Starbucks feel. I don't love Starbucks, and I would usually choose a local/non-corporate coffee house, but it was convenient for that day! read more

It's starbucks, consistent and reliably good coffee every time. Feels much like every other starbucks I have been to, although the staff here seems to be extra friendly and helpful. The place tends to get packed around lunch time which is understandable, but if you need to grab and go I would suggest avoiding the rush times. I recently had an experience here during a rush that made me like this place much more. It was extremely busy and somehow my drink order either got lost in the confusion or perhaps dolled out to the wrong customer. I was waiting patiently for it for about 10-15 minutes or so when I started to think that something was up. I was not upset because how can you be when you see everyone behind the counter rushing to get everyones coffee out whilst not screwing anyones drinks up. Before I could ask where my drink was however a barista said he noticed me here for a while and asked if I was waiting on something. I told him my drink and he dropped what he was doing at the moment and promptly retruned with not only my drink but a certificate for a free one on my next visit. I thought that this was a very nice gesture and I will be returning here often. read more

Watery frappuchino! Third visit because it is the nearest starbucks. The staff is not very pleasant nor are they very good at making any of my starbucks favorites. This experience will not deter me from visiting another starbucks, only this location. read more

The refreshers are good but don't get the coffee. I got an iced vanilla latte with almond milk and it tasted very off. It might have been the milk. I don't recommend the lattes here. read more

I only stop at this location if I know I'm not going to pass another. It's way too small for the volume. Most of the staff is impersonal because it is so insane. Never anyplace to sit. read more

Love the new look and if I had more time is probably hang out in there like all the other regulars all day long. The early morning after gym meetup is quite entertaining and kind of a spectacle and it's amazing the amount of intense conversation the same people have day in and day out. Come to think of it, even if I did have the time I don't think I'd hang out there. Venti Pike no room and I'm gone. read more

Great drinks...incredibly slow service and typically very crowded. Love the new flat white.

Probably the worst starbucks in the area, horrible service. I ordered a tall italian roast and was asked for my name. After waiting 5 minutes, the girl came out saying "tall coffee". I asked if it was under my name, and she gave me attitude. She asked what I ordered and I said Italian Roast, and she said well i dont know whats in here so its probably that... i asked her to go check and she asked someone else who also did not know, and gave it to me anyway. read more

Horribly run store. Lines out the door. Staff can't make a good drink. My wife in line for 15 minutes to get her iced latte only to have it taste like crap! After going back inside for her to get it remade, had to wait another 15 minutes to get the drink redone! Store manager Dorothy needs to keep her crew in line way better!! Very disappointing experience. Ended up throwing the drink out anyway and will be contacting Starbucks corporate for a refund! read more

I admit I am a Starbucks addict. I have been to over 50 Starbucks stores in NJ and this is one of my top 10 favorite locations. The three main reasons I like this location is 1) They have a clover brewer. The Clover machine enables them to offer a wide variety of coffee beans which are freshly ground for your drink. 2) The employees always have a smile and are friendly. 3) The tables and chairs on the patio let you enjoy your food and drink outside on a nice day. read more

I love this Starbucks! I do a lot of shopping at Brook 35 and find that it is often very busy, and since this is the only Starbucks in our shore area there are many customers.
