This place is really messed up. The staff has no clue what they are doing. The guy who took our order didn't seem to know that the steak comes with a choice of topping or that the entrees come with a choice of sides. The menu is so small, I don't know how he couldn't know that, but I had to mention everything to him. We even had to ask for salt and pepper and some of us had to ask for steak knives for our steaks. I had the soup (gumbo) which was really good, but lukewarm. My steak was way overcooked and not very good. The mushroom sauce was good even though the mushrooms were still almost raw and why they call it "wild" mushroom sauce is beyond me, The mashed potatoes were really good. The service is horrible. We stayed for the dueling pianos after dinner and our table sat around with empty drinks half the time. It was very difficult to get the waitresses attention. At one point, we were waiting for drinks for so long, we just decided to leave. When we asked for our check, it took forever to get it. In fact, another table walked out without even paying (I'm assuming because it was taking so long to get theirs). Now to the dueling pianos (Mike & Mike). They were okay. Not what I'm used to. The others I've seen do more of comedy act along with singing and playing. They tried, but were lacking. The show was basically one guy playing a song and then the other playing a song. Also, if they're going to tell you the show is going to work a certain way, they should stick to what they say. In the beginning, they told us the more you pay for a song, the sooner they'll play it. They also said you can interrupt a song by paying more than the person who's song they were currently playing. At one point they called out that it would cost $2.50 to interrupt a song so we gave him a song request with $3.00 and they never stopped playing the other song. Not only that, then they said they were going to just play all the $2.00 songs first. What did we give them the extra dollar for then? Very strange. They definitely need more experience. The only way I'd come back here is if I read reviews (and believed them) that they got their act together. I've had bad service before, but this place really takes the prize. Oh, I forgot to mention instead of soap to wash your hands with in the bathroom they had Lysol wipes! Really? On second thought, thinking back on the whole experience, I don't think there is anything they could do to get me back. It's a very strange place. I will give it two stars though because some of the food was pretty good and the concept is good. read more

Went there for karaoke, on Saturday, which was suppose to go to close and the karaoke guy stopped very early. The guy on Friday night started very late so went to different place. Need to get better karaoke guys! read more

5 of us ladies went out for a good time and did not find it here. The martinis were like kool aid - watered down. When I asked for a new drink, it came back weak. Owner WOULD NOT remedy the problem, then wouldn't credit the drink. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! WE left! What a shame. Also dueling pianos were good, however music was for an older crowd. Worst dining experience and food I've ever had. Atmosphere was of a dirty old building under construction. Food was right from the microwave. Watching our food being made from our dining area almost made us walk out before we were serve Took 2 bites and was done. Did not have the courage to tell the waiter how bad it was when he asked was everything OK. We will never go back. read more

Talked to a couple of my clients and they highly recommend this location for my next client event. I set everything up as I normally do with other restaurants. I spoke with who I believe was the manager or owner not sure. He had stated that he need a final count a couple days before hand as the menu was already set for the event. Well today I get a call from an assistant at my old office and she proceeded to tell me that she just received a call from someone at Corkscrew pointe about said event. The gentleman that called her was irate and yelling at her stating that my company was a scam and that he was going to tell all my clients this along with I was not able to have my event their. He also stated to her he had be trying to call and email me for a week of which I have not received 1 email or call nor has my assistant. Well after hearing this I immediately went up there to confront this gentleman. As I walked in he was all smiles, but I was not happy. He couldn't prove that he called me or my assistant or emailed either one of us. He did state that he called and my phone was disconnected well in my business that is not an option and on top of that when he stated he call my phone was sitting next to me and my brother called me 5 mins later. My phone works fine!!! So since I refuse to give this guy any of my money and let my clients even remotely have a good time there I am changing the venue with a week to go. I should have listen to the other reviewers and not have even given this guy a chance well my fault won't happen again. we wanted to try a new place, so we were driving by and saw this place. Advertising "come in and try one of our 16 beers on tap" so we stopped as we like to try new craft beers and also thought we would grab a bite to eat. We sit down at the bar and order their "sliders" because we were told by the bartender before we even looked at the menu that they were out of the steak sandwich so don't even ask for it! The sliders were , well the strangest thing we ever ate. Not sure what kind of meat was on the sliders as it did not taste like hamburger!! It looked like they counted the fries they put on the plate. it was really gross! then we watched the bartender walk around several times before asking us if we wanted another beer. not keep in mind there were only 8 people at the bar including us! My husband ordered a craft beer on tap and i ordered a craft beer in a bottle. the bartender walked over to a frig to find my beer looked once and said "ummm we don't have any of that" REALLY!!! Cork Screw Pointe, I would try them again for the entertainment only & couple of drinks. My friend & I were there this week for dinner. They told us they don't serve any of the sandwiches for dinner. They have a limited menu & our choices were now scarce. I ordered the Shrimp DeJongue my friend the Sirloin Steak. It was supposedly coming with garlic mashed potatoes & veggies. Her mashed potatoes tasted like nothing ( she had to pour on the salt ). She requested butter. We were told they had no butter? Really?????? The chef/owner eventually came out with something he melted & made with tons of garlic! My friend ate her potatoes & veggies with salt, nothing else. A restaurant without butter amazes me! And if you don't serve all the food we see when we check your place on-line, you really need to tell us that before we drive to your restaurant. My Shrimp DeJongue was edible, but not much more. There were very few shrimp & the ones that were there were very, very tiny! I thought I was going out for a somewhat inexpensive dinner with a good friend. I had a great time with my friend, but spent with tip $25 ( dinner, salad ( which was lettuce ) & soda). BTW: there was no one else in the restaurant for dinner from 5:45-7:30 if that gives you a clue. read more
