So much fun & super nice waitstaff & also bartenders. Decent bar food. Would definitely go back.

We came in there Sunday after our hike about seven of us and had Tiffany as our waitress. I just wanted to say that we had a great time. She was a cool waitress. She didn't give us a hard time about separate checks although she did have to tell me a couple times there's only fish on Fridays. Anyway, we had a great time. I appreciate the good service. While driving from Rockford to Kenosha we took a the scenic route and made a few detours. We decided to eat and stumbled on Wilmer Riverside. Since our dog was with us the pet friendly outside dining area was perfect. Well space picnic tables allow people and pets some space but also allow interaction with other folks and dogs if desired. The interior is rustic and yes. It's located on a river. Full bar, good burgers and nice selection of beers. The 1/4 lb Burger and the Patty Melt Were both very good. We met some nice people and dogs. While not on the beaten path it's certainly worth a drive in the country to get here. read more

First, there is no masks or social distancing, and the place is very small. Pre pandemic that has a charm, but in a pandemic that is irresponsible. The staff does not wear masks either. Nobody cares. About the food. It's so-so. I tried the cheese curds and the inside was still frozen. Microwaved curds are not a wisconsin thing!. This is great to meet with friends in a time with no pandemic. A very good local bar and grill. Friendly but professional servers; we felt like we were being treated like regulars. Unexpectedly good selection of small batch and 'the usual suspects' beers. Good daily drink specials. I got what was probably one of the best tasting burgers that I have ever enjoyed. Everyone in our group liked what they ordered. Horrible service, we waited 15 mins to order drinks.. We had to go to another table to get a menu for the 4 of us to share. When the waitress/bartener when the finally took our drink order she said I'll take your food order as well. Very,Very unfriendly. Food came 35 mins after we ordered. We had to go to the bar to refill our drinks. Waitstaff never came by. Food was typical barfood, no great shakes. This is sad because it's so close to Kenosha Fairgrounds where they have the flea market. It would be nice to have a close location to stop for lunch. Great little Old Time bar feel $5 burgers where great were great, service was a little slow but we came in with a large group and the waitress could only do so much tending bar and taking orders at the tables well worth the wait for the price and very good food. read more

My husband and I came here last night thinking it was a snowy Saturday night we wanted to get out and go somewhere close to home. When we got there the bar tender was too busy with two men you could tell were regulars there, next thing you heard was them talking about closing the bar so they could all go to another bar together and her making some comments about sleeping with one of the men. Sure enough they began telling the customers that were there that the bar was closing. We will never step foot in that bar again read more

We tried to eat here on a Sunday afternoon at 2pm. After we seated ourselves, we waited for 20 minutes at which point the bartender/server still hadn't greeted us. The bar was understaffed, and I sympathize with that. We tried to make it easier by going up to the bar to order. We were blatantly ignored by the bartender and when I politely asked to place an order I was told to "hang on a minute" and was ignored for another 10 minutes. On the spur of the moment last week, friends of ours suggested a quick trip to a winery, distillery (yes distillery) and orchard near Burlington. As it was still mid-afternoon we thought it would be good to stop at the Wilmot Riverside Bar, after years of driving by. Good choice, since we settled into a relaxing time over beer and Old Fashioned. Good drinks... good people...really good burgers, especially as the $5.00 Monday Special! We will be back. Riverside proved to be a totally welcoming place to talk, lunch and have a cold "beverage". Daily drink specials are priced to enjoy. read more

Riverside is a great small town Bar that has great prices and a cool feel about it. They have a great 5.00 burger and fries, ice cold beer, and the cheese curds are great. On Saturday nights thy have one of the best meat raffles around the northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin area. Come early for that because the place gets packed. read more
