These donuts are, meh. In fact, I did not find much flavor to them at all. And the appearance of them was, how shall I say, sloppy. But, the prices were extremely affordable. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price list. A glazed donut was $1.25! Cork's Donuts is the kind of place where that old adage holds true, "You get what you pay for."

Great donuts in town! So friendly here and quick service! They're always fresh and such a good selection. This place has been around since I was little and I'm so happy it's still here in Albany!

Opened bear claw with apple filling. Obviously undercooked and under-filled.

Unless sold out, they have vegan donuts and icings available. I've always been met with friendly and prompt service here, which is really nice since Monroe Ave. can be a busy place. Be sure to ask for a punch card if you don't yet have one so you can work your way to a raffle prize. While located in a small space, there are a few places to sit inside and they recently moved a large shelf along one of the walls to make room for more seating. There's also (covered) places to sit outside. Whether you're dining in or taking your stash to go, you're in for a tasty time.

Step into a small shop with a fun deathly decor of skulls and skeletons and a large display case of donuts. The fancier bars and jelly filled ones are a little more. They serve coffee and other breakfast items but we only came for the donuts. We tried donuts with chocolate and strawberry icing and sprinkles. It was indeed very delicious treat, not too sweet and moist. Definitely worth a drop in. There are a few small tables for two people to sit down and a table out two outside as well. I do wish there they had a little bit more variety of donuts but we should up after lunch so maybe we missed the other donuts.

She insisted I hadn't experienced a 'true' donut until I tried Locals. We finally made the trip to Junction City on a Saturday and grabbed a half-dozen. While the Raspberry Glazed wasn't quite my personal favorite, the Original was a total game-changer. It was so good, I'm not even embarrassed to say I was literally moaning with every bite! Pro-tip: If you're eating in the car, give them about an hour to cool down. They make them so fresh that the warm glaze is incredibly slippery (and messy) right out of the fryer. Once they set, they are absolute perfection. I've always been a die-hard Voodoo Doughnuts fan, but Locals is officially giving them a run for their money!

Locals donuts makes a glazed donut as their standard, and then they have a special donut weekly. They also have pretzels that they sell out of the truck. I haven't had one other plain glazed donuts, but they had a marionberry Bavarian cream a few weeks ago that was absolutely out of this world. One of the best donuts I've ever had; the cream was amazing. Their prices aren't bad, even for the fancy donuts, but especially for their simply glazed ones. The Junction City stop is Saturday each week. Check their Instagram for hours and specials.
