I conducted a taste test between the fresh and day-old mango lilikoi cupcake and I didn't notice much of a difference. The fresh cupcake was a little more moist, but I actually preferred the day-old cupcake because I couldn't taste the oil as much. Plus, the day-old cupcake is 50% off. And let me tell you, the fresh cupcakes are not cheap! It was almost $5 per cupcake with tax. The cashier was very friendly. I forgot her name, but she wears blue contact lenses. We talked story for a little bit and she told me that Sugarlina used to be located somewhere else. She also told me that they use local eggs fresh from the egg farm in Wahiawa.
