I had worked down the list of septic designers in Kitsap County with no satisfaction until I hit the "N's". When I dialed Nuckels construction, there was no voice mail or stonewalling. Holly Nuckels answered the phone and immediately instilled confidence with a line of questioning and suggestions that demonstrated a profound understanding of septic technology and process. She promised to take on my project immediately and see everything through to completion. She and Brent were on site within a day and all my cares and worries evaporated! They cleared the existing failed field to a degree that held us through the permitting and construction arc. This was a complex, extensive replacement that including rehoming the entire drain field. Naturally I expected a lot of disruption to the landscaping, but was amazed at the care the crew took to try to preserve any established planting in the impacted area and to carefully remove all debris and level and tidy up the site in preparation for my landscape restoration. I simply cannot say enough about how grateful and impressed I am with the work this company did for me!

Stopping the blaring was not easy (because the malfunctioning alarm off switch, a mislabeled electrical panel, and more. Anyway, in the morning hubby called the septic company that most recently pumped our tank two years ago and was told about the diagnosis service charge and that they'd probably need a $600 pumping before they could work. And if they diagnose electrical (like pump or the alarm box), they need to call the electricians who'd have another service charge... in the meantime, I searched online and saw the rave reviews for Kitsap Septic. So, I called and was told it sounded like electrical issues (pump, floats, and the alarm box) and that it's doubtful our tank needs pumping! I was told to call Aquarius pump and they'll prob use a sump pump and then take care of things quickly, correctly, and at a reasonable price. (And if the tank does need pumping, they'll call him.) It all went exactly as expected. Aquarius Pump came e as to the next morning and got it working enough to use the plumbing, but said to fix it properly, he'd need to return to replace the pump and alarm box. In another couple of days, it was just a memory. Except we now have a fantastically honest and highly regarded Septic service who I feel about recommending!!!

With a strong recommendation from a plumber I know I called Sweetwater Septic. A small husband and wife operation. Dave the owner came out and did a through inspection, took a sediment level test and told me our tank did not need pumping and because we use good septic practices. He was a wealth of information and inspected my black water pump at no additional charge. After Dave found out I am a Veteran he gave me a Veteran discount. His price was very reasonable. Dave gave me a copy of the county septic report, and original drawings when the home was built. I highly recommend Sweetwater Septic and will always call them from now on.

I was able to silence the alarm and called them to set a time for service. Mysti, who answered the phone, was great! The appointment was made and I hung up feeling I had made the correct decision calling them. They showed up as promised and I was very much at ease with them. I could tell immediately they were dog people and my dogs enjoyed greeting them. So much so, I stayed in the house letting them work without me hovering over them. I kept the dogs inside behind screen door anxiously waiting to be with Sean, Emilio and Fabian. Upon expection, I was told the office was sending another (Mikey) to check things and shortly after he arrived everything was fixed! Michael and Dallas showed up already beat from a long day, but were friendly and very respectful of our property. While they took care of pumping out the tank, cleaning the filter and clearing the baffle, they took the time to explain to me what they were doing, why they were doing it, and showed me how to care for the system between regular service. They put up with me standing out there asking questions and were as gracious as they could be. They're also both incredibly hard workers who manage their time perfectly. 1000% I will be calling them for my regular service and recommending them to my friends and family. Not only were they timely, their prices do not break the bank.

They did a pre-sale inspection on our property's septic system (which is required to be on a twice yearly maintenance and monitoring service) and claimed the 22 year old drain field needed to be replaced (services that they of course provide). I had 2 other companies look (also the DOH) and they felt it not necessary and that everything was functioning properly. Speaking with Rich on the phone he called me a derogatory name and said if I don't agree to his $8K repair he'll convince the DOH that we'll need $30K in repairs. He will use scare tactics to make repairs that are not necessary. Don't trust him. I hope my example illustrates what type of people run this company.

They showed up a week after our scheduled appointment last summer then randomly showed up without contacting us at all this year. Recently they visited to do an inspection that they could not complete. I explained to them in an email that I was contracting a different company and I no longer wanted them to show up here. I requested a refund for the inspection that they could not complete due to the air motor not being installed. I got an email back telling me that the inspection had been completed and they will not issue a refund. So on top of terrible customer service they are also thieves. Never trust these people.

He replaced the plastic ties with metal ones so we shouldn't have the same problem again. What impressed me most was how Mike handled the entire situation. He has over 20 years of experience, was extremely knowledgeable, professional and straightforward, and took the time to explain what was happening rather than trying to turn a relatively simple problem into an expensive service call.
