I really hate to leave bad reviews but I have to here. Due to extensive safety concerns, I recommend that everyone avoid this restaurant, even for take out-pick-up. My biggest concern here is safety. No staff members were wearing masks or other protective equipment and were visibly breathing and respirating over the food. Especially in times of global health threats like the one we're in, this is absolutely unacceptable. On top of that, service was incredibly slow and they were out of many ingredients. My favorite new restaurant in the Maumee area for a quick bite to eat or to dine in and taste all of the different teas, lemonades, etc. I love that there are many organic options and the food tastes great. My favorite is the chicken tortilla broth bowl and my fiancé always gets the coconut curry broth bowl! I've also tried the chicken power bowl with quinoa and sweet potatoes. The chicken wasn't too dry and the rest of the meal was perfect! The price is fair for the food quality, taste, and service. Can't wait to eat outside once it gets warm! read more

I have had a couple decent things here. I was excited for it to come to town. My last visit I was stared at by two surly young girls that were not helpful. Looked at me like I was a dumb old woman. Didn't ask me what size I wanted, snarky answers. I had the Cobb salad which was so Bland I couldn't even eat it. The chicken was dry and didn't even have real blue cheese on it, hardly any dressing. Some of the help just needs to be trained to help people and have a personality. Made me feel like you have to be under 22 to fit in. There's a lot to read on the menus and you don't know the prices till you're right up there to order. Not enjoyable. read more

I was not impressed at all. In the first place for two salads and a rice bowl and three drinks it costed me $40. They didn't even remember to put my avocado on and when I went back to ask her and she said are you sure I said yes I'm sure there's three of us and we've been looking and we don't see any avocado on there but she gave it to me. The dressing was supposed to be blue cheese dressing it was not Leica no other blue cheese dressing I've ever had it was very sour it was not creamy and it had like too much vinegar in it. The drinks I took a couple of them myself and spell them out they were terrible. You really should be tasting the stuff you're serving to people. The bathrooms were filthy there was no paper towels in the toilet paper dispenser wouldn't release more than one square at a time I didn't drop down right or if something was wrong with it and that the sink was a mass the soap dispenser was laying there for you to use it on its side and expected you to use the air dryer but my daughter told me there was no paper towels in there so I took a couple napkins with me. I usually eat at this place two to three times out of the week because of the menu and location. Each time either myself or my significant other would use an online ordering tool to order out of convenience because it's on my way to work. I would order food and drinks but would use my own personal cup as I do every where I go. I went to pick up my online order and as I am attempting to get my drink, I was an approached by an employee yelling at me you need to pay for that. I replied excuse me she stated you need to pay for that. I told her it was paid for and what made her think it wasn't. I had my food in my hand. She said to me people steal all the time and we have been having this happen lately. I then replied what would make her think I was stealing. She said you didn't pay for it. I then told her I order food here two to three times out the week and that it was paid for and I don't steal. There were other people in the establishment who got drinks and she didn't say a word to. She then began to say you need to pay for the drink I told her once again it was paid for and if it wasn't, that I don't steal and would pay for it. I then looked at my receipt and my significant other didn't add my drink. Ok easy mistake. I proceeded to the register and paid for my beverage. I then asked for a manager and was told there was no manager there. I then asked what was the operating managers information and was denied the information. I was finally told that the manager was the girl who approached me which her name was Alexis. I asked for my receipt and left. I then called after the incident and asked for the operating managers name which they told me the owners name was Brian and I left my contact information. They refused to give me any other information and never received a phone call back. I will no longer support this establishment due to this incident and being racially profiled. I just want to add I was literally in my scrubs for works. This was a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience and I refused to support any establishment who doesn't these types of things to their customers. I waited over 48 hours to receive a reply from management and no response. No one should ever be approached in this manner or treated this way. read more

Slow service and the food lacks flavor. It literally tastes like cardboard. The music is too loud to have any kind of conversation.

Impressed! The store was very modern and clean, staff was really friendly, and the food was fresh and delicious. I got the small kale Caesar salad and the small chicken Cobb salad, both were tasty and surprisingly filling for the size. The menu is pricey, but is it worth it? Yeah, i kinda think it is. We went to eat here at 7:54 (closed at 8:00) and were turned away after getting in line behind a family of 5. We were so excited to try the food and they clearly had plenty but for some reason refused to serve us. Makes no sense. The food is pretty good, but I wish it had less oil. They never seem to have all of their ingredients ready and we need to talk about cross-contamination with these buffet style construction before your eyes restaurants (talking about you too, chipotle). I'd also like to see them hand out bigger water glasses. I'm not going to steal your lemonade - I'm not even sure why you sell such unhealthy drinks when you label yourself as healthy fare (let's face it, more than half of the menu isn't healthy at all). We stopped in on the soft opening at lunch. The place was packed so we left. At dinner time my daughter called and asked if we wanted anything from core life. She brought home a variety of items all were very good. I really liked the curry dish. I will definitely be back! It was great that they donated all donations to a local business.
