Alexei was super communicative, arrived right now time and got to work immediately. We ran into a small issue around the width of the door being about 1/2" too wide and walked through some options. He took his time and even made sure that the doors were more secure than they were previously by adding some longer screws. He made sure he cleaned up everything and checked in multiple times along the way to make sure everything looked good. Super impressed and have hired him for other projects now too!

At first, we were a little worried because his bid was low and he seemed a little nervous when he met with us. He turned out to be the best contractor experience we've had. He had a really good understanding of the period and architectural style that we were after for the moldings and quickly built out example pieces for us to look at based on suggestions that he added. For the doors and windows we gave him basic specs and he could have cut corners on the actual materials. Instead, he installed really high quality materials that probably exceeded our expectations. We had both a flooring and drywall contractor on the job and, despite the fact that they were nice guys, Rod is the only one I'm writing a review for.
