I came here for a birthday party. The indoor space is really nice with several different seating options. They have a few games you can play and the bar has so many options. It was one of those super hot Portland days and luckily the inside space has a/c so it was really comfortable. The bartender was so friendly! I didn't order alcohol but I didn't hear anyone say that their drink wasn't good/strong so that's a good sign! We ate at the food carts outside. There are a lot of options, I wish I could have tried more than one! I would definitely come back here.

Shoyu chicken, teriyaki chicken, rice, macaroni salad, green salad. Extra side macaroni salad.

Cons: Street parking in very sketchy neighborhood. 50% or more of the vendor don't open on "too hot" days. Pros: Plenty of seating. Indoor dining area is warm on cold days and cool on hot days. Variety of affordable choices.

More people need to get ON this cute food cart hub. There is so much indoor and outdoor seating--very clean and well kept. Great place to go to watch any sports game of interest, board game night with friends and family, even a good study spot if you don't mind the ambience--overall great neighborhood addition and clutch community gathering space! The food selection is super unique and reflective of the neighborhood it resides in: Vietnamese, Korean, Mexican, Hawaiian, and BBQ!

How great is the CORE?! I first happened upon them when I'd been out doing errands and needed to get my son a burrito. I ordered from Habanero burrito, then was wandering and passed Los Tamales Locas. I got one for lunch and two for later. When I tried mine, I was so glad I'd bought more to freeze - I know my tamales and these were exceptional! This time I went to get the boys chicken gyros from Noah's Halal Gyros, and myself a bowl from Fresh Fish Poke. It was raining on this visit to Core, so I followed some strangers inside the main building, which I hadn't even noted the first time (it's huge - what's wrong with me?!). Inside is really nice!! They have so many good areas to sit in and plenty of good light from outside, even in the rain. I'd had a long day at the DMV, and decided I deserved a pint from the bar inside. They have a huge selection of beers, which the server, Henry helped me pick through and decide. We ended up striking up a conversation - he was one of the owners! He couldn't have been nicer. They even have a notebook of all the food cart menus inside - if it is a wet day, I suggest going in to grab a seat and a pint, look at all your options, and enjoy!

We used to come here all the time, but then they shut the place down. This is The Reincarnation of the old Core Food Station. I tell you it is so much better. A lot of thoughts went into making the inside nice. I believe there are 14 food trucks here. The chances are you will find whatever your heart desires. Everyone we dealt with here was nice and friendly especially the bartender at that Pelican Beer Room. They have cider, wine, and of course beer. There is plenty of private parking, so your car is safe. Come here support them, so they don't shut down again. It would be a shame...

It's a neat concept and convenience location. I wish they have more business because the place looks dead instead of bursting with people. There were only 5 places (3 counters inside and 2 trucks outside) opened during Friday's afternoon when I dropped in. My broken rice was generous in portion and tasted okay. I wasn't fond with the caramelized plain fish sauce came with it. I wish she would've the traditional fish sauce instead. I wanted to order drink but there was many trucks opened. Overall, it was a disappointment first visit. I'm rooting for this place though and wanting to see it thrive. I hope the management and marketing for CORE step up their game!

Great environment with plenty of food options and even a bar inside the new building. Overall, it was a great experience! I tried the spicy chicken from the Hawaiian food court and was very happy with it.

Island Grill has the best spicy chicken plate. They are super nice and accommodating as well. This place is also such a big vibe & hangout spot. The food trucks are all so good plus theres a bar The inside area is also such a good spot to hang & eat your food. Love this place, 10/10

The interior, while spacious, doesn't have much character. Could definitely use more decoration or something, otherwise, happy it exists!

Chris the bartender is amazing! He is helpful, friendly, and is great at helping you pick a great beverage.

Nothing was open as listed per website. Space was large and clean but would have been good be able to get food.

It had a panko crust which sometimes I prefer to batter. They were a little bit salty for my taste but ever since I got COVID lots of things have tasted salty so take that with a grain of salt I'm not a tartar sauce guy but this is some great sauce. I feel like later I got a piece of tarragon(?) out of my teeth and reminded me of the herby yummy sauce. I scoffed at first at the chips. Very non uniformly cut but surprisingly all well cooked. I don't know if it's they type of potato but the skin was really off putting. But solid toothsome chips that a splash of vinegar helps a lot. If I end up in a similar position again I'll definitely consider coming back.

I came after a review I read on Eater for FoPo area eats. I'm not a huge fried food fan but this place was good. I got the Steelhead trout fish and chips. Wait was ok they give you a buzzer so you can stroll around the food court. Took about 10 mins not bad. The locally sourced steelhead was a delicious surprise. Tender, juicy fish with crispy breading. Good seasoning. Fries were thicker so not as crispy but still hearty. 3 medium sized pieces of fish. They included ketchup for the fries as well as malt vinegar and tartar sauce for authentic fish dip. Wedge of lemon, too! All in a earth-friendly cardboard box. They take credit just fine. Very convenient location at Carts on Foster just down the street from where I was staying. So I walked back and enjoyed there. If you're staying you could probably cruise over to any local breweries or the bar cart for a beer to complement the fried food. Good time!!!

Homemade tortillas, the birria was beef but very well seasoned and juicy. The lengua has some nice crispy edges to the cubed meat. Overall cook on lengua was good. Anytime we go to the Mississippi Marketplace, I always get flautas at Mole Mole. They are a feast for the eyes and palate. These are the best flautas I've had so far in the area. The staff is always friendly, the service is prompt, and orders come out quickly and are plated so beautifully they *must* be photographed every time. I'm a creature of habit so I could order flautas here forever, but I promised myself I would try the chile relleno next time we go. Wish me luck! We love the casual vibe. It's comfy, there's usually a place to sit, but it can get packed when the weather is good. The space is welcoming and offers opportunities to chat with others if you want. It's a great space that fosters community.

It was payday, my Friday, and my plans to make spaghetti carbonara were foiled by frozen bacon (…read moreoops) and a mountain of dirty dishes ( not. my. job.) and my freakin' exhaustion. Teen wanted boba, and we decided to order Mediterranean from this place which also strangely sells boba. Yes, I rewarded the chore avoidance. Sue me. I worked four tens, all week my mental health clients were stressed and distressed, and I was honestly a lump. We both ordered a Moroccan stewed chicken that comes with saffron rice, salad, and three spicy sauces - one yogurt and maybe sumac? , one sriracha, and one yogurt mixed with sriracha maybe? We liked the rice, chicken, salad, and the yogurt sauce. Just ok though. Not omg good. I wish the two other sauces had been in separate containers and not on the rice. My mint and honey tea was fine. Kid's boba was not full. Not because it spilled either, because it was sealed with the boba seal lid thingy. For $6 that was disappointing. The hummus and dolmades plate came with one sad not good pita, ONE, and I think our Uber eats driver flung it out the window like kids used to deliver newspapers from their bikes because yogurt sauce was freaking everywhere. The hummus was not great. Teen ( the dolmades fan) said the grape leaves were good. Probably not a repeat in store. One and done.

Ok. Ordered a chicken gyro for $14 then he charged me $15.40. When I asked what the extra $1.40…read more was for he said it was a fee for using my card. The gyro was 2 out 5. Very dishonest food cart.
