a breakfast of eggs, toast and orange juice
Brandee M.

We went for a late valentines day brunch on Sunday Feb. 18th. It was amazing. They had our reservation ready upon arrival and we were sat in a booth to avoid noise coming from the lobby due to a party! Very thoughtful! Michael was our server and he was a dream! Super helpful in making sure my mimosa wasn't too juice forward! food was great brunch style food and bloody mary was top notch!

Had the pleasure of visiting this quaint restaurant while in town and really loved the intimate vibe. Perfect for a date nite or anniversary dinner. The portion sizes were very small though and drinks a bit not too shelf. My lemon drop martini was weak but they fixed it with the cosmopolitan. The steaks were very small and appetizer were small also. The side dishes are enough for two people though.

I came here last year just for breakfast. The decor, staff, and food are still on point. Not many people eating at 0930 but the jazz music was a plus. I am seriously in love with the decor. I had the Cora's breakfast and so did my friend. The only difference is she got wheat toast and I got the biscuit. Plenty of food. Price is good maybe a little bit more but you get a relaxing atmosphere and you definitely do not get the buffet bar craziness at the casino. Located a few blocks from the main gate of Kessler. It is easy to get in and out of the parking lot. If you get a chance check this place out.

The food and service were wonderful. The steaks were cooked to perfection . Loved the live music in the bar.

Princess Martini, Old Fashion, and Seafood Gumbo

We came to Biloxi for a little weekend getaway and could not find reservations anywhere! We finally decided to give this little restaurant a try and I'm so glad we did! DRINKS: We tried quite a few. First the old fashion, like expected was strictly whisky. Could have used a bit more bitters and simple syrup, but overall a good choice. The princess martini was delicious. Super fruity, but not overwhelming. The waterlily would have been better if I didn't have the princess martini first. I would not recommend getting it after a sweeter drink. It's too refreshing to follow up. APPS: Seafood gumbo was tasty, but it was not traditional. It was a mix between the seafood and chicken. It came out very hot and I enjoyed the cornbread that came with it. The brussel sprouts were one of a kind and had a kick to them! I was super surprised by the Asian chili glaze! Would recommend. ENTREES: Both of our steak dishes were delish! The NY STRIP AND STEAK WALTER. However, I would recommend the potato patty over the mashed potatoes!

This was honestly one of the weirdest dinners I've had in recent memory. My boyfriend and I were staying at the White House and stopped into the restaurant for an early dinner. We were ushered to a pretty large booth, which was honestly great for COVID - but super weird decor. Gave me adams family meets vampire diaries vibes. It was also freezing. Because it was freezing, I ordered a Pinot Noir vs my normal sauv blanc - so I was surprised when a white wine came back out. I repeated my order and they swapped it out, not a big deal. I did like that you can order mini glasses of wine (3oz pours) - that was neat. I could hear the waitress listing the specials in the next vampire den across from us, but the curtains were pulled so I listened in like a creep. I was interested in the cod special. When our waiter came by to take our order, I asked about the specials. He said they had none. I (surprised) said: "really? I thought I heard mention of a cod?" He said "oh yes, we do have cod mmhm - had that last night. It's delicious" to which I replied "ok, but it's not a special.. it's just not on the menu?" To which he once again mmhm'ed me. I got the cod. Food was ok, Brussels were actually pretty good. My boyfriend's red snapper (gulf catch) was a solid 7.5/10. Fries were meh. A table of 18-22 year old girls trying to get after it were seated near us. After trying hard to get served liquor under age with a parent present, the same waiter took their order. I listened in. "Tonight we have a cod special", I heard from afar between drunken giggles and chatter. I'll just leave you all with that gem of an ending. TL;DR I'd recommend ordering from the bar and taking your food out to the porch if you're staying at the hotel - that looked way nicer. Come here if you're a 21yr old girl drinking on your mom's credit card.

Cora's Restaurant in the White House Hotel has delicious brunch options set in a luxurious atmosphere. The decor inside the restaurant is beautiful and the service is attentive. The two entree options we enjoyed, Eggs Point Cadet and Eggs Walter, were incredibly tasty and I would definitely recommend them both! However, their drinks were a little expensive and beware of unexpected upselling. After being suggested a 'bacon bloody mary' by our server, I ordered one only to find that I was charged for a bloody AND a side of bacon making this one cocktail nearly $10. If you are looking for a nice place to have a splurge meal, Cora's is a nice option. If the weather is nice, grab a table on their porch and enjoy the gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico!

Dropped by with my partner twice, and only tried the bar (no judgements, please). Once we had afternoon cocktails and the other time we had Bloody Mary's. For the afternoon, we were greeted by Steven/Stephen (not sure on that spelling) and he was personable and very knowledgeable about the spirits behind the bar. It was lovely for an afternoon pick me up. Because of that experience, we came back about a week later for Phat's Bloody Mary's. He was also a very attentive and skilled bartender. When it warms up, would definitely drop by to have a cocktail on the dais with that beautiful view. Definitely a lovely quiet bar with extensive alcohols available.

2 hour wait for food. Large party but booked ahead. Ran out of mashed potatoes and risotto. One waitress for 20 ppl. Left food. Did not eat. Heard good things but truly disappointed.

Excellent bar and restaurant. The people make all the difference and they have an exceptional group behind the bar. Knowledgeable and friendly. Frank is one of the best but all three of the guys I've seen tending bar are all good at what they do. They recently updated the bar's food menu and I'm including a picture of that. Also if not are the weekly drink specials. Half price martini night on Tuesday. Half price glasses of wine on Wednesday. Thursdays are cheap draft (12oz I believe) pours, which they have a good selection of. Those specials run all night in addition to their happy hour drink specials that run from 4-6.

I had the Breakfast Burrito - "The One Pounder" with eggs, bacon, sausage, onions, jalapeños, hash browns, cheddar cheese, (Pico de gallo, green onions, and salsa on the side). I declined the queso and the sour cream. This was, hands down HUGE!! Everything was distributed nicely throughout, but I have to comment on the pico. Being from Texas, I am a bit of a pico snob. Let me tell you, this was homestyle pico +100! It's the bomb!! The jalapeños were diced small, and I definitely tasted a hint of garlic in there. For non-spicy people, one of the things they avoid with jalapeños is that the pieces are too big, and the burn overrides being able to taste the flavor of the food. This was great to add flavor to each bite, without the overbearing quality of the pepper. Amazing, and great. My love had the Tenderloin Tips and Eggs. Her is her review: Eggs (fried) were wonderful, with a hint of sweetness we could not define. Southern style grits buttery and smooth, and the tenderloins seasoned wonderfully and delicious!

We hate crowds more though and some days We just didn't want to rush. We ate here multiple x because it was right in our hotel. Was the food as great as The Toasted Yolk? nope Was it good enough to start a slow morning yep!! The servings are big, the food while nothing fancy is adequate to start your day, the place is not crowded and in a tourist town that's a plus right there. My favorite was just a simple fruit plate with yogurt and granola. Don't forget the Moscato:) The grits were good too!! Hubbie got the biscuits and gravy with sausage and my son pancakes. We also ate supper there one night I got the mushroom burger sans bun , my hubbie the catfish platter, and my son the Philly cheesesteak. The waitresses were nice and worked hard. Would I come again yes! Would I make a special trip here no! If you are staying at the Palace though and don't want to traipse to places for breakfast or Supper. Give this place a chance ! But they are a bit anal about you sitting the proper way -saw them get on a guy cause he moved his chair . It's not that serious Stacked . First off, they bring the food out in a giant plastic bag like it's evidence from a crime scene. And honestly, it is a crime--how much butter and Cajun seasoning they put in there. The shrimp were so spicy they gave me flashbacks to every bad decision I've ever made, and the sausage? That sausage whispered sweet nothings to me before punching me in the face with flavor. I'm not saying I fell in love, but I definitely Googled "how to legally marry andouille." The corn was hotter than Satan's armpit, and the potatoes were softer than my willpower. I burned my fingertips, tongue, and possibly my soul, but I regret nothing. The staff is friendly in that Southern way where they call you "honey" and tell you you're "lookin' peaky" while piling 7 pounds of shellfish in front of you. If your bib doesn't say "I'm here for a good time, not a long time," you're doing it wrong. Pro tip: don't wear white. Or tight pants. Or any emotional baggage you're not ready to let go of--because the boil will break you down and build you back better. 10/10, would cry happy tears into my crab legs again.

Key deserves a huge shout out for being such a sweet and attentive server. I liked her tremendously. We had the boudin egg rolls and the Swamp Tour Sampler: jambalaya, crawfish étouffée, gumbo, and red beans and rice. For dessert, we had bread pudding with beignets. The Boudin egg rolls were the best thing I ate on my entire trip. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly crispy, every bite was heaven. The jambalaya was the best jambalaya I had on my trip as well. It had a fantastic smokiness and was not wet at all. I also loved the crawfish étouffée. It was creamy and loaded. The red beans and rice had a bit of a sweet edge that was not quite my taste. Try for yourself. The bread pudding was the perfect sendoff. Bite-size beignets were nestled in the bread pudding. It was a sweet, creamy, perfectly Mississippi dessert. I loved Parrain's so much that I bought a T-shirt. I generally don't like wearing clothes that serve as advertisements, but this place just has to be advertised all around the country. Usually if you can find a space, there will be a table open so keep that in mind if you think it might be too busy and you don't want to wait. In addition to the great stuff like boiled shrimp or crawfish, they also have wonderful poboys that are packed with whatever you want on them. I opted for grilled shrimp on my last visit, but fried shrimp is great as well. If you order an optional side, you will get plenty like onion rings, fried okra, or fries. They also have daily specials like shrimp or catfish baskets, and currently on Saturdays you can get a pound of royal reds with potatoes and corn for roughly twenty bucks. Royal reds are a premium kind of deep sea shrimp that are more like lobster and very meaty. I highly recommend trying them if you've only ever had regular gulf shrimp before. Service here is always good because the place is small and they keep it well-staffed. Waitresses will keep your drinks filled constantly and they pay attention well. I had dinner here with friends, and we had a great experience. I started with a Black & Gold Old Fashioned. I thought it was so good that I had to search for the ingredients. Here's what I found: Four Roses Bourbon, black walnut bitters, honey simple syrup, an orange twist, and a Luxardo cherry. It was an excellent cocktail and a great way to start the evening. For dinner, I ordered the Redfish Orleans with a side of Cajun boiled mashed potatoes. The portions were large, and everything was very tasty. The redfish was topped with shrimp, crabmeat, and Orleans sauce. The Orleans sauce is a Half Shell original--a buttery sauce made with Cajun seasoning and Worcestershire. Delicious!
