i love the theater, i was first cast by the grande dame of this theater,the invinceable, power…read morehouse and indomitable, kathy verberkmoes. in the 1990 production of biloxi blues . to celebrate the 60th anniversary of keesler afb. kathy was this theater and her lessons and advice continues with me. her spirit haunts every production there. kathy taught me some confidential, methods and ways of management, production, directing and producing theater and im grateful to have known her and called her friend. she directed me in a production of a streetcar named desire and later we co directed that play, and it was the very first production to use music, during the production to emphisaise scenes and to set the tone and mood of the scen for the audience on the coast. . joe ray mcniel and i co directed the first ever production of a few good men on the coast here too. ive won three bravo awards at this theater. best actor, best set design, best director. did you know this is the first community theater on the ms gulf coast. it is also the only all volunteer, continously operating commity theater here on the coast too. i served on th eboard of directors years ago. so yes i do recommend this theater.
