One person didn't look like he needed to be there - he was simply reading a newspaper while the other two were working. Thanks to Brooke's review, I found these guys after desperately needing to print 1000 newsletters in 24 hours, without having to pay Kinko's ridiculously expensive prices! They were very responsive, and was able to give me an immediate estimate. They also knew just what I needed without much coaching... and 24 hours later, we have our newsletters at a fraction of the cost! I am utterly impressed with the quality , and prices were cheaper than anything I could find on the internet. I found out they are family owned and both husband and wife run the place daily. Here's just one example of how great their service is: I needed 200 Gift Certificates printed out asap so I e-mailed Swati at 10:00am on a Tuesday. She said she would get them to me as fast as she could....12:30pm (same day) Harish walks through our door with non other than the 200 Certificates.... I was so impressed. I've been here a few times, their prices are reasonable and the quality is OK. I had to get a poster printed here and the first time it did not come out right so they reprinted it for me. The lady said that the format that I emailed the poster in was the reason why it turned out bad - wish she would have told me this BEFORE they printed it. Nevertheless, it was fixed. I've also been here just to make general copies. It's slow since you can't make the copies yourself and you have to wait for their staff to help you. They're a little sketchy with their pricing (not consistent at all). Parking in the strip mall can also be challenging. read more

Needed invitations printed and found Copy Craft as the place to do it. I called around comparing prices and Copy Craft from the get go was very helpful, able to answer all my questions, and the cheapest. Just because its cheap doesn't mean the quality was too. The quality of the printing job was beautiful! For wedding invitations, it has to be! I was scared that with requesting so much I wouldn't get exactly everything I wanted done right. I needed 306 color prints on a specific cardstock that I provided. We provided 7 different PDF files with 2 of the files needing to be printed front and back on the cardstock. All files had different printing quantities. Went in Wednesday afternoon, ready for pick up Friday afternoon. End result: perfect and beautiful!!! Tips: Make sure you write down the quote and make sure they charge you what they originally quoted you for. When it was time to pay, they were charging us $.10 more per print. After reminding them and showing them the details/breakdown of what we originally discussed, we walked away happy :D read more

For those that are starting a restaurant and need a place to print out your menus i'll explain my experience and everything I learned along the way with CopyCraft. The first day I asked for my printed paper menu to be laminated and they did it on the spot. I left with my sample and my parents loved it. I came back about 4 times and every time they printed a sample for me. There was a few changes I would ask for until I was pleased with one that ended up being 2 folds, 3 pages, 80lb paper in color, 12x18 and on top of it laminated. They did an amazing job and I am very thankful for the patience the staff had with me and my dad. I absolutely recommend this place if you are looking to print menus. They're price is definitely lower than many other printing stores and trust me I went to like 5 other places but the most important aspect was their high quality. I did go to a place in downtown that was going to print for less but when I saw the sample I was disappointed. One advice I will give you is go prepared and know the kind of paper, the size and the type of menu you have in mind. I knew I wanted my menu laminated but I didn't know what type of paper and size I wanted and that's where CopyCraft staff helped me in. I can't imagine giving them anything less than 5 stars after multiple times working with them: having a reader printed, having business cards made, getting a poster printed. Swati has always been really good about working with me to make sure the final product looks the way it should. She's easy to reach, willing to talk as long as necessary to make sure all my concerns are addressed, and even points out things like an image on a poster being blurry. Compare that to most places, which will go ahead and print something that looks crappy, and then take your money. I'm bewildered by the negative reviews. In my opinion, the SCU community is lucky to have CopyCraft just down the street. read more

In my opinion, this place doesn't really know what's involved in the printing business. Sure, they charge a little less than the other places but the aggravation isn't worth the time or effort. My project consisted of a printing a small banner and business cards. I called ahead for an estimate and then headed over with prepared art files for both projects. Both were very simple projects, one color on white backgrounds without any rush deadline. (My background is in Graphic Design and I have worked with numerous printers in the past) The banner turned out ok, not perfect since there some small black lines and spots in a few areas, but I accepted it. The business cards turned out very poorly, the typography looked blurry and the cropping was inconsistent, some were cut to close on the top while others were cut too close on the bottom - the difference was quite noticeable. After telling them I was not able to accept the job, they offered to redo it. 5 days later, they called and I went in to pick it up. The cards looked identical to the previous ones, blurry and inconsistent cropping. I wasn't even sure they redid the job. I explained the problem again and the lady said "We just use your file, that's the way it comes out." She did not understand that Illustrator files or PDF files do not produce blurry type. She then stared at me and said "No, that's it, I will just dump them and you have to go someplace else." Thank goodness. read more

This is about their branch in San Jose (326 E Santa Clara St), not Santa Clara. The staff is friendly, and - in the end - the quality of the print itself was good at reasonable prices. However, they are poorly organized, and staff didn't seem to talk to each other. The poster I wanted printed came as a PowerPoint file, but they did not seem to be very familiar with PowerPoint. I had to show them how to fit the poster to the screen. It was a portrait-sized poster, but when I came to collect it, it was printed as a landscape poster. The guy promised to reprint it and have it ready to collect early morning the next weekday. However, at noon that day, the poster wasn't ready nor did the staff know anything about a reprint. Thus, I had to come back once again, but this time they did what they had promised, and it was ready to collect. I actually am not happy about having to write this review but I think this latest issue should be known and made aware to any customers. First off, I'd like to start by saying that Swati has been and is very nice and easy to work with, she turns things around quick and prices are pretty good. We have been a long time customer of theirs but our business will now be taken elsewhere. We needed a rush job done for a one page flyer, Swati said it was no problem. I emailed her a web link to the document along with a PDF file in case they couldn't open the web link. Job was done by 2:30, our driver picked it up and brought it back...every single copy had very blurry print. Our employee that was headed to the show we needed these flyers for stopped by CopyCraft to see if they would reprint. The guy that was there eventually (after finishing the YouTube video he was watching) decided to help others that were in line since the two women were helping other customers. He said that the copy we sent him was blurry and they don't alter the document....you don't alter the document but do you call your long time customer and let them know what they sent is blurry?????? No, they just print off 100 glossy copies of blurry almost illegible print and job is done. He was rude and argumentative. I called him and received the same treatment, he yelled over me while I was trying to speak, didn't listen to me, told me he's not reprinting and we can take our business elsewhere and he doesn't want our money. Needless to say, he wasn't getting it at that point anyway. Also, when I opened up the PDF file I sent them, it was perfectly clear. read more
