The sandwich was stuffed with delicious BBQ pulled pork, bacon, and the Provolone had a great cheese pull. So tasty! The "individual" order of fries was enough to feed two people, filling the bottom of a paper bag, and had a very yummy seasoning salt (BBQ?). The person who helped us was very attentive and informative, and our food was freshly prepared and brought out to us within 5 minutes. We ordered enough to feed about 15-16 people, and every single person left happy. That's saying a lot because we have some pretty picky eaters in our family! The ribs were tender, smoky, and packed with flavor, while the mac and cheese quickly became the crowd favorite. You can tell there's real care and attention behind every dish...the flavors are bold without being overwhelming, and everything tastes homemade with its own unique touch. The staff was welcoming and friendly from start to finish, making the whole experience even better. Great barbecue has a way of bringing people together, and this meal did exactly that. It honestly didn't resemble what I would typically consider a pork belly sandwich, and I found myself a little confused by the presentation. The macaroni and cheese had good flavor, although it seemed a bit dry and firm, as if it had been sitting for a while. I understand that everyone has different styles of barbecue, and this may have simply been an off day. I'm sharing this feedback in the hope that it's helpful, because I know many people speak highly of Big Vic's. Only reason I held back on a 5 was that not everyone in my party had a great experience with their meals. The Mac & Cheese here is not ideal, it's missing some seasoning and more cheese. My hubby's ribs were overcooked but Ivan was quick to check in on us and correct our issues. The day we visited it was extremely packed and despite of that our server Ivan did a fabulous job checking in on us and we observed him helping many other customers all with a calming and friendly demeanor. The food was quite good, they had a $14.99 special that most of us got, totally worth it. My steak was done perfectly, their chili was super tasty, the pork chops were amazing, they kept the bread and butter flowing, and we were taken care of well the entire time - never an empty cup.
