If you like Bourbon this is the place to visit. Nestled deep on the farm just outside of Hermann. Fantastic selection for alcohol tasting and samples. They also serve variety of snacks, pork sandwich and delicious Maple Bacon . Perfect Scenery to enjoy with family and friends. Clean facilities and great service. Thank you

They have a beautiful deck to enjoy your cocktail. Get the bourbon slush no matter the weather.

What a lovely building and property. The owners have done a great job with the layout and construction. Every building looks pristine. We stopped in just for a tasting. Their bourbons are all newish. Meaning they will benefit from aging. They only make bourbon here but they do have beer and wine although limited selection. Owners are friendly.

We were greeted with a smile and info about our options. The view on the deck is one of a kind!! The drinks were also stellar!!

The new building is amazing. It's very large, and has a shop/tasting room where you can get tastings for $5, or a tour and even more tasting for $18. If you know what you like, just walk back to the large bar area and have an Old Fashioned, Manhattan, or other bourbon drink (non-alcoholic drinks are also available). Everyone is very nice, and we met family members of the founder who are more than happy to make sure that customers are comfortable. At this point, no food is available, but there are plenty of tables inside and out to hang out with friends. We took home a bottle of bourbon and one of bbq sauce, and we look forward to returning for more!

They were not OPEN after we drove all the way on a dirt road!

Saw the sign Copper Mule Distillery OPEN, turned in off the highway, drove up the partially paved road, then dirt, don't go there in your nice car! Arrived at the distillery store and was treated by a man that informed us that they were closed and he didn't want to sell me anything. When I usually stop at a local distillery, I usually spend several hundred dollars supporting local business. So, when a business doesn't want to do business with me, I can take the hint and leave to never return! My advice to anyone thinking of making the drive up the dusty, filthy dirt road to this distillery, don't trust the OPEN sign and keep on going! There are many distilleries in the area that will be more than happy to do business with you!!!!

I've been to Hermann about 5 times now. We've always missed out on eating here and I was so excited…read morewe were going to finally get to try it out. We had a party of 12 and we were told we'd be sat at different tables, no big deal. 8 of our party went to one table and the other 4 sat at a table catty corner to our party. We had separate waiters which I think was maybe their first mistake. Both tables ordered drinks and appetizers that came fast and were delicious....then things quickly fell apart. We were one of the first few tables seated. Our other parties tables food came out and us 4 at the other table was still waiting. We continued to wait while every table that came in after us starts getting their meals. Finally the table behind us that came in 30 min after us got their meals, we asked the waitress if she could check on our food? She came back and said it was "being plated." We wait a solid 30 more min and by this time our other parties table had eaten and were paying and we still did not have our food. Asked the waitress again who said they were waiting on mashed potatoes. We got up to check with the manager who was bartending who never once apologized or stopped to check on what was going on and only said "we got swamped." Which was a crazy excuse considering we were one of the first tables to order. Since the manager refused to help at all we talked to the hostess who was seating people and may have been the asst manager. She checked on our food and told us "there was a problem with the pesto." When our food came out my daughter mushroom and Swiss burger was charred to a crisp and hard. Finally the assistant manager took our meals off of our tickets. It was a frustrating experience for our first visit there and didn't leave a great impression. The food (minus my daughter's burger) and drinks were really good. I'm not sure where the disconnect happened but the managers poor excuse and the way he completely ignored us and the situation was pretty poor customer service. We come to Hermann every year and this year had brought people who had never been before. Sad they didn't get an enjoyable experience and my daughter didn't even get a meal.

Sadly, however, I could not order any to ship home to California. A return visit to Missouri was planned and a road trip to The Hermann Wine Trail area was mapped out. Our first stop? Pinckney Bend in New Haven, of course! Planning to purchase a bottle of hibiscus gin and tonic mix, I left with three bottles of gin, two of the hibiscus tonic mix, one corn whiskey, a four-pack of premixed G&TS and Hibhounds in cans, a super-soft t-shirt and one travel-sized PB 8 oz flask, complete with 2 metal shot glasses! Oh yeah, they also sell drinks of the patio for a whopping $5! Support this local business and tell them Pat sent you! Cheers

Made a stop after hitting the wineries to attend their anniversary party and it was so much fun!…read more The distillery, located in New Haven, is nestled between the railroad tracks and the river and both were more than adorable! There were special tastings inside and outside they had fire pits, bales of hay to sit on, fried food on sticks, live music and spiked warm/ cold drinks! They also had these fun fire games set up where you hit a target and a blast of fire lit up the sky - so cool! All of the drinks were amazing and they had a mug deal where if you bought the mug for $10 you could refill it for $3 - this was just for the party though. Everyone was super nice, even when my friend decided to make a hay angel after tripping in the drink line. It's also fun that Paddle Stop Brewery is across the street so we could choose from cocktails or beer. We kept saying that we felt like we stepped into Hallmark movie, with all the small town charm! This is an annual event and we can't wait to make the stop next year!!
