Service: it was a Wednesday afternoon, few visitors in BH that time of week. Staff was more interested in conversations between themselves than service. Our pizza sat on an open counter for 5 minutes after the kitchen called "order up". We had to remind them that the pizza was sitting there getting cold. Food: Every topping we ordered they were out of. Ridiculous four hours before closing. This apparently included the sauce on the pizza....there was very little, even the waiter admitted they scrimped on sause all the time. They were also out of beer. At least the two I attempted to order. Ambiance: what can I say, it's a pizza joint. Not much ambiance in that, no frills, minimalist decor. This was my first visit to Copper Kitchen Pizzeria, and overall it was a decent experience -- with some high points and a few areas that could use refinement. We ordered takeout: one medium Spicy Hawaiian pizza, one pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom pizza on a gluten-free crust, and 2.5 pounds of buffalo wings. The Spicy Hawaiian pizza had a nice balance of toppings -- not too much pineapple, tasty diced ham, and just the right amount of jalapeños. However, the "spicy arrabbiata" sauce tasted more like a basic spaghetti sauce, and the crust was disappointingly tough. Since it's a wood-fired pizza place, I was expecting a crisp crust and cheese with a little browning, but the cheese was just melted with no color or char. The pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom pizza had great-tasting meats, though there weren't many mushrooms. The gluten-free crust actually had a better texture than the regular one -- softer and less chewy, which was a pleasant surprise. Once again, though, the cheese could have used that nice wood-fired browning to elevate the flavor. The buffalo wings were full wings (not separated into drumettes and flats). Personally, I prefer them separated since full wings are harder to manage, but they were flavorful and the buffalo sauce itself was excellent -- bold, tangy, and well-balanced. The atmosphere really stood out. The restaurant is spotless (as you'd expect from a brand-new place), and the staff were fantastic -- genuinely friendly and conversational while I waited for my order. They even offered me a complimentary water, which was a thoughtful touch. The total for two medium pizzas and 2.5 pounds of wings came to about $75 including tip. That's a bit steep for takeout, but I recognize that prices everywhere are climbing these days. All in all, Copper Kitchen Pizzeria has great potential. The ingredients and staff are solid, but the execution on the wood-fired pizzas -- especially the crust texture and cheese finish -- could use some improvement. I'd happily give it another try down the line once they've had a little more time to settle in. read more

The food was great, our service was terrible. Every employee was occupied with anything else but the customers. We were not greated when we walked in. All of the tables were dirty and we had to ask to be helped, there were about 3 tables occupied but the rest were dirty. Many surrounding customers were very unhappy as well. Whoever the manager on duty was should be retrained or held accountable for how tonight's service, August 8th. Would not eat here again. read more

Had high hopes for this place. Service was terribly slow. During a rush, one of two waitresses were eating behind the bar while people were waiting at their tables for someone to even take their drink orders. We asked for utensils and condiments three times, ended up getting our own condiments from another table. Asked for granulated garlic and was told they didn't have any, so I was served some jarlic instead. There was literally granulated garlic on the shelf in the kitchen. They didn't have fresh basil either. Food prep time is a huge issue. This place seems to be run by young kids that don't know how to prepare food in proper sequence or timing. I got a slice of pizza which was decent. Good cheese and crust. However, my husband got spaghetti and we waited more than 30 minutes for his spaghetti to be served, AFTER they gave me my slice. We ended up leaving without it. Their first excuse was the food was made to order . The second excuse was they had to start boiling the water. Seriously, an Italian joint doesn't have water boiling already? Stopped in for lunch today - everything was great! We got a large 3 Little Pigs pizza and an order of fried mushrooms. I'm not a huge pizza fan, but this pie was legit! Despite being slammed, the waiter was super friendly and professional. He moved with a sense of urgency without it ever feeling rude or rushed. You could tell he wanted to provide everyone with an excellent experience. The seating area was clean and well decorated. I loved the copper ceiling! You can see the pizza oven as well. Don't. Just don't waste your time. I don't know what the deal was but we walked the patio tonight. There were 5 tables and three tables waiting for food. We were the 4th. Had to walk in to get the menu. Said they would be right out. 20 minutes go by. Nothing. Meanwhile table next to us said they were there over 30 after ordering. They just walked out without anything. (15 minutes later their food was up inside(I was waiting to order to go) and the server gave food to their friends at the bar. Or staff. It was so weird. Two guys on the pizza oven just talking. One prep cook. And three servers. One server was eating Tostitos and homemade salsa at the bar. My partner was out at our table and the server who was supposed to take out order told the table next to her that she was waiting outside cause a guy (me) wanted to make a order at the bar. The large family Inside still didn't have food by the time we left and the flies were all over the dirty tables outside. After seeing the prep and the food service area covered in flies there, I kinda am glad we walked away. No service nothing. It is certainly nice to have a casino alternative for the family! It was busy when we went and service was quite slow, thus four rather than five stars. However the food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The pizza is woodfired and every component combined for a very pleasing bite. Everyone commented on the design and decor. The Christmas decorations were relatively simple but provided a cosy and festive atmosphere. We will definitely return. read more

This pizza was on point! Perfect crust and delicious sauce & toppings! Awesome pet friendly patio with a great view! They had just opened for business when we went (literally the first day of operation), so service was a little slow as they were working through some first day kinks. But everyone was extremely polite, pizza was amazing, and the view hard to beat. Highly recommend. Would assume the longer they are open the service will tune in as well. read more

An escape from the casino!! This is definitely a yes!!! Food was delicious and service was great!! A great place for families to escape from the no kid environment but also a great place for adults. Fried Mushrooms are a MUST!! We ate them too fast so I didn't even get a picture of them!!! White Margherita pizza was bland. Crust was good. Service was good up until we finished eating. Received our bill but Chris didn't come back to take payment. We went up to the register and waited to be helped. Chris mentioned he forgot to come back and take our payment. I mentioned we were waiting for him to come back and he said (rudely) he was helping the other customers (there were only 2 other tables occupied and 1 group had already eaten). What a great spot! Pizza was good. Wings were great. HUGE! They say "jumbo" on the menu, but really, they are JUMBO. Pumpkin cheesecake was to die for. Tiffany and Chris were both friendly, professional, accommodating, and just plain fun to spend time with. Beautiful space with a gorgeous copper oven that probably cost more than my home. We decided to try this very attractive restaurant for a Saturday lunch and were pleasantly surprised to learn it has only been open a week. We were quickly seated and immediately struck by the air conditioning being on despite it being in the 50s & rainy outside, Inquiring why it was so cold we were given an excuse, not a solution. Overall the construction gets top marks, no expense was spared, though the AV contractor oversold the tv displays that are inoperative and poorly placed. Service was prompt and the salad very fresh. Also trying a Margerite white pizza it too was delicious though the oil could use an infusion of garlic . Prices are in-line with portions as well. The wood fired pizza was delicious! Cooked perfectly! The salad and freshly made basalmic dressing topped it off. Gladly we watched the Denver Broncos beat the NY Giants while enjoying our meal. This place is amazing. It was such a relief to find a place away from the casinos and the patio was perfect. We were there for opening day and even though they were supposed to be doing a soft opening they got slammed. The whole place was packed and a couple of youth sports teams slammed them even more. Despite that the wait staff managed to do a great job providing prompt and courteous service, our food came out quickly and was delicious with large portions and to add to that the manager was contentious and kind and everyone made us feel super welcome.
