The cauliflower crust flatbreads were good....I wish they didn't have they soy chicken on top. The tempeh rice paper rolls were so good!! Flavourful and filling. Zucchini brownie warmed with sauce on top was nice.

Really appreciate this plant based restaurant and gluten free options. Came here 2 days in a row. This morning I got a breakfast sandwich that was delicious, I love they use just egg and bagel is GF and the sauce is good! My friend got the nachos yesterday and loved them-filled with black beans, sour cream and gauc. Must try if your vegan.

I love coming to copper branch because the menu is 100%a vegan. You wouldn't think it as vegan when looking at the menu since they have more than just Buddah bowls. They have burgers, wraps and even have flat breads which I am excited to try in the future. We came here on a Friday for lunch and it was very quiet. There were lots of people coming in for take out and lots of delivery service pick ups, but the actual restaurant maybe only had 8 other people inside possibly due to coronavirus. The service: Pretty efficient. You order at the cash and they take your name with your order. They actually deliver your food to your table which is different from other quick service restaurants The food: The portabello mushroom burger: this burger is super meaty and I love that there's a cheese like cream sauce that gushes with every bite. It actually almost tastes like a big Mac because of the lettuce, but I haven't have a big mac in years so I could be wrong. The burger itself would have satisfied me 85% because of the size so I did order it as a combo with the fries, which is well worth the value. The burger by itself is $9.99 but as a combo it's only $10.99 and the fries come in a large bowl that is shareable for the entire table. Mediterranean bowl: all of their bowls are delicious and I love that it's customizable. What makes this Mediterranean is the green sauce which went well with the fries General tao bowl: Made with their general tao mushroom meat, it's super meaty and actually very satisfying because of the size. It's their most popular bowl for good reason because it's filling, full of flavour and healthy The location: Located in heartland next to congee queen. This place has lots of parking and is pretty easy to get to

So I tried this place 3 times in 4 days because it's on my way to the gym. What I've had so far: -Mushroom galaxy burger -Smoked tempeh sandwich -Organic quinoa chili -Chico salad -Wings -Waffles All the food is absolutely delicious. It is nice to have a 100% vegan place in Mississauga and isn't fully comprised of junk food. In terms of costs, I would say it's a bit on the pricier side. Sandwiches and burgers are $9.75 each before taxes and doesn't include any sides. Waffles are around $8 to $9 as were the "wings" (and you only get three of them). While I didn't have a bowl, it looked like the price was around $13 to $14. Chico salad was like $5 or something. The staff is very friendly, service is good and they have a loyalty card. Would I go back? Yes. Is this somewhere I would go every week? Probably not, mostly because of price. Maybe once every two to three weeks.

Menu - Drinks, Desserts could've been a bit cheaper to attract customers.

Right down the middle for me! This place sorta reminded me of Boon Burger in Burlington but with bowl, wrap, & other options. Sandwiches/Burgers were the standard $10. Other options such as Drinks/Desserts/Power Bowls I thought were priced high, but maybe $15 is the going rate for bowls of veg now? They really should introduce "made in-house" infused water or other cheaper drink options that I've seen at other veg/vegan spots! They do have free tap water though...lol. Now reading the menu properly, they actually omitted some elements in my Aristotle bowl such as black olives, broccoli, lettuce, & I didn't see any hemp seeds. :( So take a proper look if you're ordering such a dish! The main reason why I have no real impression of this place is because the customer service was severely lacking. Me and this other woman stood right in front of the ordering counter for a good few mins while 1 Asian guy, who was assembling something, just lifted his head with no acknowledgment. (I hope he wasn't the owner!) The 2 other guys there seemed clueless as to how to handle customers. I could barely understand/hear what the cashier was saying, he was muttering. There didn't seem to be any solid training or vetting in hiring people who have had experience in customer service or just better attitudes. Put some smiles on your faces and enthusiasm in your words! Otherwise, your customers will just find other options. Overall, my visit felt more like a missed opportunity...

This place gets 3 stars from me based on my visit here with girlfriends a few weeks ago. Upon coming in, I noticed that it had a cute cafe vibe with a good amount of natural light coming in, a few tables for groups, big menu above the counter and overall, just a homey feel to it. Ordering is easy, quick and staff are helpful with finding out ingredients in each dish if they aren't sure. I have to point out that I was really impressed with their selection of food from burgers, sandwiches, soups, all day breakfast dishes, smoothies etc. and each option sounded delicious based on their descriptions. They also have a loyalty card if you plan to keep visiting but come when you have time to spare as food takes some time to come out. It wasn't that busy when we came (about 3 other diners) and it took at least half hour for each of our dishes to come out. I got the gluten free blueberry waffles with maple cream sauce and chia seeds. The maple cream tasted good but the waffles themselves were just okay. Overall, it was a decent dish for about $10 and obviously felt like a healthier alternative to other brunch or lunch places but not sure that I would get it again. Other friends seemed to enjoy their burger, wraps, poutine and smoothies here. Because I'm curious and in the area sometimes, I feel like I would come back again to try their other offerings - maybe it was just the waffles that kind of missed the mark and their other dishes might be better.

Have been waiting years for this to open in sauga!!!! Wooop I think the staff saw my excitement when i came in...loyalty card Check! Arranged a friends holiday brunch here to try them out. They are right besides the new opening Star bucks in the Best Buy plaza. Had their Einstein shake while deciding on food and it was delicious with berries, soy milk and chia seed plus more. Finally ordered the mushroom galaxy burger, the sesame bun was delicious and held its own. The vegan cheese with portabello mushroom and caramelized onions was a great combination. Friends ordered the breakfast tofu wrap and the poutine both were enjoyable. They did say they wished the poutine had more gravy/cheese on the large. Half the bowl of fries were naked. My other friend tried the chilli and it was tasty. The carrot bites were just ok. I would go again to try all their delicious offers. Service was quick and great and love the interior copper n wood themes.

A vegan place pretty close to my office, so come to try their dishes. I really enjoy trying different vegan restaurants even I am not a vegan. But this time, high hope ended with disappointment. From what their posters are showing, they certainly try to be more creative. Originally, I ordered coconut masala curry bowl, but they run out of some ingredients. That's ok, so I ordered their general copper bowl. It was very very salty. Also the texture of the boiled broccoli, avocado cubes, pickled carrots and purple cabbage and overly salted tofu just do not go together well. Usually power bowls are hard to make them really wrong, but the cook today managed to make a very bad taste power bowl. To be fair, I will come back to try other dishes. Hope this is just one off. Let's see.

Terrible experience overall. Food was cold and workers were shouting at customers. Surprisingly one of the worst rated places I have tried.

Veggie Paradise specialises in Veg take-out (call ahead), Frozen/Dried meals and ingredients. I write "Veg" 'cause it may be even Vegan, as opposed to just Vegetarian. They also do custom vegan/vegetarian cakes/pastries. This place is run by 2 sisters and their workers. As soon as Sandra heard that I wanted something to eat, she prepped me with an Asian meal - as opposed to their other meals that are more popular amongst gwai-lo. Meal comprised of a soup (looked like Tom Yum, but not sweet/spicy), a separate plate with Rice, Bok Choy (chopped with garlic), & a portion of fermented Mustard Greens with Green Peas (this was medium spicy). The meal was tasty, yet rather homey as it wasn't overly salted. I really felt like I was eating at an aunt's house! This place is located in a rather industrial, catering to Vegans/Vegetarians (or people who just enjoy the occasional veg meal), so just call ahead if you want to order something! The sisters will even offer you a sample if it's available. :)

Stumbled upon this restaurant as I was looking for vegetarian restaurants and thought the food was…read morepretty good! I tried their soy chicken drum sticks, kim chi, dumplings, siu mai, and radish cake. My absolute favourite and would recommend is the radish cake!! It is so good. The kim chi was off-putting and was drenched in whatever sauce. The dumplings are also really good as well. I like the layout and aesthetics of the restaurant. One thing to note also was that the employees just seemed miserable. I understand we came an hour before closing but they just seemed miserable and sort of ticked off that we were coming an hour before closing.

Ok, so I rarely write reviews. I find them a bit of a waste of time, and I'm firmly against writing…read moreone if you dislike the restaurant. Hence why we're here. Well, at first I was a bit on the fence about ordering cause of the vegetarian/vegan menu, I like my meat, love meat, got to have my protein dammit! But wow! was I ever surprised and happy about following my gut and choosing to go there. You see, I'm from Vancouver, and if you know a bit about my hometown is that you know we have a very large asian population. Heck, I'd even go as far as saying it's my second language, (my first language is English and my parents are Chilean...never spoken a word of it) but I've been around it so much somehow, I feel I could get by given the chance. So, by examining the pictures from the online menu, I thought to myself; If the food is anything remotely like the pictures, it looks exactly like my fav spot in Vancouver - Congee Noodle King- also a must try if you're in east Vancouver. Just trust my absent Asian ancestry ok?! I ordered the N65. Fried Noodles with Steamed and Stir-Fried Bean Curd, and as a request asked them to make it spicy to which they happily and kindly obliged. This dish was packed with flavour. Oh em gee! Loaded with fresh crunchy veggies, the noodles were spot on: thin, velvety and a lot of them. Makes for some healthy slurps! Oh, did I mention the meat? No, I didn't, because it didn't have any, and I have never not missed something so much. The crispy fried bean curds tasted like deep fried spare ribs. My pupils dilated a bit. And that's ok cause I went into a food coma, got to heaven and wrote a review about the very first Asian restaurant I try in Toronto and I'm already planning to go back. If you give this place less than 5 stars you don't know food, Asian food or how to speak it so go on and chew on some meat! Thank you for the wonderful and friendly service as well. I shall return. How do you say that in Mandarin? Cheers! - Patricio

BEWARE: ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK…read more If my memory serves me well, this is the first time ever that I've given an establishment a 1 star rating ... and these are the reasons why: They were seriously understaffed in the kitchen - specially knowing that it was Mother's Day There were 4 of us and we chose to order one starter between us so that we could save our appetite for the mains The Bang Bang Broccoli took one hour to arrive... yes- ONE HOUR During this time we were told just how many cocktails would not be available because they were out of some ingredients ( and this was at 1:30pm on Mothers Day ) - but I must say they had water available and they served that at lightning speed Then 45 minutes after our appetizer arrived and after asking our server and anyone on the staff that we could speak to, one of the 4 mains arrived...which self respecting restaurant would: 1. Take so long to serve the food with any explanation whatsoever? 2. After such a delay, bring only one of the four dishes that were ordered? By this time we were ready to leave but eventually got the other 3 mains and had them packed and took them back home - since our daughter had to drive back to London to be there at 6pm - which she thought would give all of us enough and more time to have a nice leisurely lunch with a reservation for 1pm ... clearly Community Restaurant had other plans Now comes the kicker... as we were heading out I told one of the servers to please tell the owner that if this is how he/she runs a business it would shut down pretty quickly - to which she replies: You're right, this has been sold and will change hands in 2 weeks Good riddance And no thanks for upsetting my daughter who wanted to make the day special for her mother

Took a good while to make us sit in a half empty restaurant. The food came pretty quickly and service was just OK after that. The interior is nice. The coffee we started was very weak and lukewarm warm. We asked for a refill and the refill was the same as well. Hollandaise Benny was good, the Just egg perhaps cooked from the frozen ready was good. The Impossible/Beyond Sausage was good. The Hollandaise sauce was well made. Disappointed with the home fries quantity - very few. The Chik'n Burger made from Oyster Mushroom was very good. Crunchy outside and shredded mushroom to give a chicken texture. Just too greasy for us. Again the fries very few - the plate looks empty and not filling for us. IMO not good enough value for almost $25 all in. The Chik'n and Waffles, same Chik'n as the burger good. The 3 piece (?) waffles were great. The fries still less, however there some salad as well. Good restaurant, OK service. Food is OK, a bit pricey for what we got.
