We got married at Scribner Bend Vineyard 3 weeks ago- Cope Entertainment was one of the preferred vendors for our venue, and we honestly could not have made a better decision. Pre-wedding prep: Aside from our venue coordinator, we probably interacted with Matt the most. He was extremely attentive, and would send us check-in emails to make sure things were moving in the right direction. We also had multiple webcam meetings with Matt to talk through the events of the big day and discuss the flow. Matt provided us with an online portal where we entered in song requests (as well as a do-not-play list). We gave him very broad suggestions (eg genres we liked, artists we enjoyed) and he nailed the playlist. Wedding day: Matt provided our officiant with a lapel mic as well as a handheld mic to hold up to our faces during vows, so we could be hands free. His emcee skills are also amazing- he kept the flow going, kept the energy up, and helped direct the guests after the ceremony. We had requested jazz music during cocktail hour and the playlist was exactly what we envisioned. When cocktail hour was winding down, he made sure to come round us up and give us a heads up for the grand entrance. He then went through the bridal party list to make sure names were pronounced correctly. His energy throughout the event was just amazing. I was especially impressed with his emcee skills during the toasts/speeches- he was so great on the fly, making transitions super smooth. We received several comments from guests afterwards about how terrific he was! Matthew was the DJ for our wedding at Scribner Bend Vineyards at the end of April 2023. To make this simple - BOOK. HIM. NOW! We would give him more stars if we could. Cope Entertainment was on the preferred list provided by our venue and after much research, it was clear to see why. He lives up to his amazing reviews and then some. Matthew was so helpful throughout the planning process with phone and video chats and put any anxieties at ease. He answered all questions quickly and was extremely professional. He helped us figure out which music was important to us and encouraged us to play what WE wanted. I was hesitant to choose our walk out song, as it was a little out of the norm, but he reminded us that this was OUR wedding and encouraged us to do what makes us happy - and the grand entrance turned out even more fun than we could have imagined! He kept everyone on the dance floor all night and all our guests had such great things to say the next day. He really took all our suggestions and turned it into the best playlist. Also, the portal is so easy to use and makes planning simple. We used the monogram lighting, which turned out to be the perfect touch in the background, especially for photos. We also booked the photobooth - so much fun and looking at the album we got to take home was hilarious! A great keepsake. Overall, we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend Matthew for your wedding/next big event! Thank you again!!

We were very happy to work with Matthew for our wedding at Harmony Ridge Lodge in Nevada City. His system helped us easily choose songs and customize the event. A number of guests also commented on his professionalism. He was friendly and easy-going whenever we had Zoom meetings. We were also one of the bumped COVID weddings and were grateful Matthew was quite flexible as we found a new date. Thanks again for helping us through a great party!

We are so glad we hired Matthew from Cope Entertainment to be our DJ and MC at our wedding! We got married at a beautiful newer venue called Le Rêve Estate in Elk Grove, CA on September 30th 2022. My fiancé and I had no idea what we were doing in terms of planning a wedding but Matthew made the process that much easier by answering all of our questions plus he has an online portal that helped guide us through what we needed for each segment of our wedding. He dressed professionally in a suite and most importantly, kept our whole evening running along smoothly from the reception to our exit. We were able to create a list of songs we liked and Matthew put together a great playlist but also changed up the music during dancing to fit the mood and what others wanted. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend him to everyone for weddings or any other event you may have!

My adorable wife and I were looking for a low cost way to celebrate Valentine's Day and our eight…read moremonth wedding anniversary. By pure coincidence, we both stumbled upon an Amador County Valentine's Day Wine tour. The six hour tour would depart Rancho Cordova via a luxury motor coach, and shuttle us to Amador County for a tour of three wineries. During the journey into Amador County, the hosts would serve beer and Mimosas (bringing your own bottle was also encouraged). With that being said, we were all in! As directed, we arrived at 9:45am sharp. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the host (Mrs. Rachelle), and her husband (Mr. Wyatt). We immediately boarded, and 15 minutes later we were on our way to Amador. Roughly 10 minutes into the trip, Rachelle & Wyatt began pouring Mimosas and offering little snacks (because we all know what happens when you drink on an empty stomach). During the 45 minute trek into Amador, we engaged in conversation with other couples on the bus (this is vital in a generation that doesn't prefer conventional interactions), while Rachelle and Wyatt mingled around the bus to ensure that everyone was fully accommodated. 45 minutes later we arrived at our first stop, Karmere winery. The staff at Karmere was extremely accommodating, and did a great job of providing some background information in regards to their winery and the overall Amador County wine tasting experience. We were so pleased by their customer service and their wine, that we purchased a couple of bottles. After an hour at Karmere, we left and headed to our next destination, Dobra Zemjla. Dobra Zemjla was a nice intimate environment, very Valentine's Day appropriate. They offered chocolates, cheese, and cheese-stuffed green olives to accompany the wine tasting. Although accommodating, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed with the crowd from our bus. After everyone made their way through the wine tasting menu, we all headed outside to the picnic tables for lunch. Rachelle and Wyatt had a full platter of sandwich options, drinks, and chips prepared for consumption. This gave everyone an opportunity to converse while soaking up some of their wine. After lunch, we packed up and headed to our last stop, Bella Piazza. Bella Piazza had a beautiful backyard vibe with an elevated view of Amador County. So beautiful of a view that we decided to conduct our wine tasting outdoors on the patio with some four other couples. In between wine tasting, we had an icebreaker at the table that set the tone for some hilarious revelations! The staff did a great job of quenching our thirst at the appropriate moments (some of us even received seconds of our favorite wine). Unfortunately, all great things come to an end, so an hour later we were on the bus heading back to Rancho Cordova. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the wine tour and most importantly, the services rendered by Rachelle and Wyatt. Throughout the tour they were professional and accommodating (due to their positive Yelp reviews, this came as no surprise). We met some great people, and may have actually met a new couple to hang out with (meeting likeminded people is always a difficult task)! We'll keep our eyes peeled for future Cain Events!

Overall it was an ok experience…read more First the bus arrived late, we were specifically told to arrive early and that the bus would be leaving promptly at 10. The bus did not arrive until after 10am, which put us behind 30 minutes, leaving at 10:30. The first winery was nice no complaints there, the second winery (where we ate lunch) was ok. The food was anything but filling, and the ladies organizing the event could have done a better job in dispersing the chips and water, our table always seemed to be skipped. Where we ate was outside in the cold which was anything but comfortable, it was not outside weather to say the least! I have to say if it was nice outside it would of been a better experience but if the weather was horrible and secondary plan needs to be executed. One small heater will not heat more than 30 people. I did like that they gave us snacks in between the bus rides! The camera man was amazing always trying to incite excitement within the group. On the bus the ladies were a bit unorganized with dispersing the snacks and sandwiches, they skipped people numerous times. The third winery was amazing!! Again they seated us outside so we froze! They had a fire place and it was not turned on! Lol oh well, overall there was a lot of wine. But for me the experience was not worth the price

I am a super type-A person who already knew what I wanted for floral and decor coming into the working relationship and they not only brought it to life but Cindee was so helpful in offering guidance and building on the ideas I already had. She also worked with me to help me get as much out of my budget as possible which is so appreciated and rare in the wedding industry. Linda was our day-of coordinator and she was worth every penny and so much more. I was relaxed on my wedding day because I knew that all details and timeline would be handled by her capable hands. Lina stepped up for us and helped put together a FANTASTIC party. She transformed a businesslike boardroom into a magical place for a ceremony. She provided the tables, chairs, curtains, most of the decorations, and did the floral pieces as well. She coordinated with our vendors and helped make the ceremony and luncheon one that my parents and their guests will remember forever. In addition to all the setup and coordination, she suggested a photo booth that would print out photos right there that all our guests enjoyed. She lied to us about having "a team" when it was just her husband and son that evening. When we reached out for a refund she agreed (clearly she knew she didn't do a good job) but when it was time to pay us she ghosted us for a year despite multiple efforts. Stay far away!!!

Beware and hire someone else if you can…read more We started working with Parveen almost a year before our wedding, she was recommended to us by a family member. She got our ideas down and sent us a quote. She gives decent pricing on some items but charges a lot more for others. I was able to find cheaper pricing from other vendors on certain things but still had her doing majority of the work, centerpieces, backdrop etc. Also I want to mention we didn't have contract with her, she never mentioned it and we assumed we didn't need one. Six weeks prior to the wedding she sent us the final quote which took her awhile to generate. We were surprised to see an additional 2k charge for just labor! She didn't give us a breakdown of the charge just "Labor - $2,050". We asked for the breakdown of how she was calculating it and her calculations were inconsistent. We talked to her on the phone and went over the pricing and she realized the errors she made and said she would send us a revised quote. Here comes the kicker - The next day to our surprise we receive an email from her telling us that she cannot do our wedding because if she isn't the main person doing the wedding then she can't do it at all and also added that doing an event in Stockton wouldn't make sense for her since she lived in Sacramento and it was "too far" which made no sense since she knew all along the reception was in Stockton. Bottom line: She is expensive, unreliable and unprofessional. Be cautious if you do decide to work with her and definitely have her sign a contract upfront.

I advise people to shop around because her prices are ridiculous and I would never recommend her to any of my friends. She wasted 3 months of my time to give me a quote, luckly I was able to find someone far better and most affordable than Praveen.
