Cooper's Pointe Park is one of the 21 community parks in Cooper City that the Parks and Recreation Department maintains for the recreation and healthy lifestyle of residents and visitors.
This particular park is open from sunrise to sunset. While small at only one acre, it is still enjoyable for taking kids out to play. There is a small shade covered playground with a slide, climbing equipment, and swings. There are also shade trees, benches, a picnic table, and open space. There is no dedicated parking or restrooms. An important point to note is that it is not fenced in, so you have to keep an eye on children to make sure they don't wander off.
It ended up being the perfect place to sit for a few minutes while I planned my next destination. If you're looking for a larger park with more recreational amenities, I recommend nearby Brian Piccolo Park. If you're looking for a nature walk, Wolf Lake Park is also close by. read more
