I was meeting my friend here for an early dinner. She made reservations at 530 and I was slightly delayed due to rush hour traffic. They waited until the entire party arrived to seat us so that's something to consider if you make a reservation here. This spot is new and it's gorgeous. There's merch and of course wine up front by the hostess stand. We were seated in a booth and we actually got two servers since one was in training. Both ladies were fantastic! We started out with bread and the drunken shrimp to share. I got the jambalaya and it was tasty. It had a little kick to it but still very delicious and satisfying. I did not have the wine but as always, they had plenty to choose from. It was good that we got there when we did because on our way out, the place was packed! If you do decide to come, make sure to grab resos or go early.

Lunch date + Cooper's Hawk = the best combo We usually stop in once or twice a month when we're on a Costco run, and it's always such a treat. Great service, amazing food, and I'm telling you right now don't leave without ordering the brussels sprouts. They're unreal!

Sashimi - A long, white rectangular plate holds remnants of sashimi, garnished with green onions, avocado, and red seasoning, with chopsticks resting on the side.

Coopers Hawk has always been one of my favorite restaurants and when we learned that a CH was being built near us, we were ecstatic. So, our first visit to this restaurant was a minor disappointment. That said, the food and the ambiance was typical for an upscale restaurant. However, on this visit, the service was sub par to say the very least. Our cocktails and appetizers were out rather quickly followed by our entrées. The delays came after we enjoyed our meal and wanted to order dessert. It took our server over 20 minutes to take our dessert order and another 30 minutes to bring it out. Very disappointing. But all that said, we will return again to allow CH to reestablish their stellar reputation. We hope.....

New location, very nice decor throughout the building, Good sized dining room out door seating , nice bar area and wine tasting bar. Even the restroom is clean and nice. Excellent service, nice menu from salads and sandwiches to entries. There is a lunch menu with smaller portions That can be ordered in the afternoon hours. Reasonable prices, Ample parking , building is set back from Boulevard pl but not hard to get to Easy access from I-55 and U.S. Rt. 30 Reasonably sound level in dining room makes for enjoyable meal. No televisions in dining room is a great plus There is a room that can be used for groups Wine tasting area also has a shop where gifts and wine accessories are sold. This is a great place for a date night. Or a relaxing meal and a glass or two of wine.

An Unforgettable Dining Experience! We recently had the pleasure of dining at Cooper's Hawk, and I can confidently say it's the best new spot in town! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for an incredible lunch. The décor is stylish yet cozy, making it perfect for everything from a casual lunch or dinner to a special celebration. We are wine club members and frequent many Cooper's Hawks so we have been greatly anticipating the opening of this just about 2 miles away from us! But what truly impressed us was the exceptional service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest had a memorable experience. We were greeted by the wine attendants upon coming in the front door. Then proceeded to get a friendly greeting from host station. Once seated, Brianna took our drink order with a smile . Our server, Allison, was knowledgeable about the menu, offered fantastic recommendations, and checked in just the right amount--never intrusive but always there when needed. We were able to meet the manager there named Bradley when he came up to make sure we were enjoying our dining and experience. Talk about a manager that is going to be sitting the bar high there! You could tell he has a passion and vision for making it the best place possible for dining and for everyone there! Now, let's talk about the food--absolutely divine! Every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with fresh, high-quality ingredients and bold, creative flavors. The BBQ Chicken Salad was delicious , and the shared dessert of Banofee melted in my mouth. They were crafted with care and creativity. If you're looking for a restaurant that delivers top-tier food, impeccable service, and a fantastic vibe, Cooper's Hawk is a must-visit. I'll be back soon--and bringing all my friends! 10/10!

Everything was soaked in grease. Spent a lot of money on a Filet Mignon that tasted like it came from a McDonald's drive through. - A white plate with leftover food, including a strip of bacon, fried onion strings, and some green vegetables, on a wooden table with drinks in the background.

We won't be returning to this location. Bought a Filet Mignon, but the entire bottom of my plate is a thick layer of grease. Felt sick before we even left. However, our waiter was very kind.

A fresh salad with cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, shredded carrots, lettuce, and croutons, served with a bowl of soup and dressing on a white platter.

Our waitress seemed overwhelmed with the amount of tables she was handling and just overall grumpy. I can understand that doing separate checks for a large group might not be fun, but she just seemed irritable the whole time until we gave her a decent tip. She directed us to get our own water from the self-serve station. I did like that I could do the wine flight from the table vs. they only offer the 6 wine tasting from the bar. I was a little disappointed that no one explained which wine was which, and I was left guessing when I ordered all sweet wines and a couple that looked very similar. When I later wanted to order a glass, I apparently picked the wrong one, but none of them were horrible so that was OK. I also ordered the small charcuterie plate, which was a perfect snack plate. Some of our party ordered flatbreads and wraps, which also looked really good, so I would definitely try this place again. This place doesn't seem like they're that good at accommodating large groups as they only have small round tables they had pushed together, but we made it work. They seemed a bit understaffed for a Saturday afternoon. If you like sweet wines, my favorite was the Sweet Purple Lady, followed by Blackberry. I took a bottle home.

They also have a wine tasting counter that often fills up in the evening time with guests wanting to taste their expansive collection of wines. They have multiple dining rooms to accommodate any party size and even have private spaces to host events in. I visited for lunch where options were endless. They offer their main menu as well as some lunch specific options that are smaller in portion for a better price. My group started with the Crispy Brussel Sprouts which were absolutely delicious. The brussel sprouts were crispy and paired with a fresh mint sauce and light space sauce; neither were overwhelming. For entrees, most got the Gnocchi with Roasted Butternut Squash while I got the Gnocchi Alla Vodka. I loved mine for being a classic dish with creamy sauce, crumbled sausage, and pillowy gnocchi. The other dish was perfect for a spring day as it was lighter in flavor, vegetable forward, and less heavy. I was a little bummed that our table never got the complimentary pretzel bun that seemed like every other table got. Our server was very sweet and kept on top of refilling our waters. She made some food suggestions but most items were off the regular menu and not the lunch menu. Pricing overall was a bit expensive even for lunch but portions were large. Overall, this was a great spot to enjoy the company of my coworkers and enjoy some good bites.

THE MALBECKONING…read more SixtyFour Wine Bar is a winning concept in downtown Naperville. Much like what Tapville Social does for beer, SixtyFour follows the concept of guests having the freedom to pour their own drinks. This place is on Water St in Naperville, near Vasili's and Blue Sushi Sake. Street parking isn't plentiful so the garage is your best bet, especially in the evening. You can build your own charcuterie, but use caution: everything is a la carte and without much effort that cute cheese platter can swell upwards of $40. This happened to us on our 1st visit, I thought "yeah sure, add a $4 honeycomb and seasonal jams, why not" to go with the $9 prosciutto, $7 manchego, and $5 cornichons. More recently, I got the restaurant week pre-fixe ($49) which included a starter, entrée, dessert, and glass of champagne. Each course separately would've added up to $55 (not counting the bubbly), so this option saved a few bucks. Both my wife and I got a pour-your-own wine card, that set us back about $20pp. The wifey got a mix of a dozen west coast & east coast oysters ($36) that came with cocktail sauce and a zippy pomegranate mignonette. The goat cheese bruschetta ($13) was incredible: goat cheese spread on several large pieces of grilled sourdough with roasted tomato and balsamic. We loved this and would get it again in a heartbeat. 5/5 The dates ($13) were a different story, however, as they came with cranberry goat cheese, orange honey, and crushed walnuts. I've been so used to savory dates (wrapped in bacon with a tomato sauce) that this much sweeter iteration caught me off guard. They weren't objectively bad, I just wouldn't order them again. 3/5 For my main course, I chose the short rib ($31) as I've done several times now: tender beef with mashed potatoes, braised carrots, crispy onions, and a red wine jus. This is a delicious entrée that I find myself steering towards every time I'm here, as it pairs perfectly with a Malbec or red blend. 5/5 The gnocchi ($33) were fairly pricey which I attribute to big chunks of lobster in a white sauce. But what SixtyFour did felt like a "bastardization" of gnocchi (my wife's words, not mine) by turning it into a homemade mac 'n' cheese of sorts, cooking it in a mini cast iron skillet topped with toasted breadcrumbs. Say what?! "Breadcrumbs" and "gnocchi" should never be used in the same sentence, unless it's "hey honey I did that grocery shopping, and I got beer, eggs, wine, gnocchi, ice cream, laundry detergent, kitty litter, AAA batteries and a box of breadcrumbs". It tasted fine, but there was absolutely no need to innovate here. 1.5/5 We reached a split decision on the dirty chai crème brûlée ($11). My wife thought it was different but lovely, whereas I found it strayed too far from vanilla custard and the flavor was overpowering, as if I just snorted tea leaves. It was REALLY strong, y'all! 3/5 Bread = 3.5 Circuses = 4.5 Our server Melissa was attentive and let us know about the wine tasting inside near the hostess' stand. We had a couple small pours (1-2oz) which equated to a free half glass, no complaints there. Restrooms were clean and the outside patio has a relaxing ambiance. The vibes are classy, romantic even. * TL;DR * It's fun sampling bold reds, sweet whites, and even rosé in 1oz, 3oz, and 6oz pours. I pity the fool who grabs a glass, sticks it underneath the first tap they see up front and presses 'POUR' without realizing they just selected a 2014 Chateau Haut-Brion ...... which retails for $500 a bottle! A half glass is nearly $75! I'll stick with a $7 Shiraz, thanks. As for the food, it's been mostly great with only a few exceptions. The gnocchi was whack, and the chai crème brûlée was polarizing. Due to the presence of delicate wine glasses literally everywhere, I would keep kids away from here. Leave the little ones at home and come here for date night. SixtyFour lists themselves as a wine bar first and kitchen second, which I agree with. If what you're seeking is a kitchen *and* wine bar, hit up a Coopers Hawk. Both places have solid wine selections, but being able to enjoy wine on-demand is a big plus. I'd happily recommend SixtyFour to friends and family.
