I came across The Cake Bar on Google and decided to reach out. Amanda responded promptly to my online inquiry and provided several cake and icing options. I sent over an inspiration photo, and they assured me they could create it. When I picked up the cake, I was absolutely blown away. They did a fabulous job and completely exceeded my expectations. Not only was the cake beautiful, but it was also absolutely delicious. After the party, several people asked where I got the cake and cupcakes because they were so good. Even when something wasn't to my taste, I'd come back and try something else--because that's what supporting small businesses looks like. I want local shops to thrive, not get swallowed up by big-box stores. That said, I was genuinely disappointed after seeing Jacquelyn's recent Facebook post. Everyone is entitled to personal opinions, but using a business platform to label people as "dangerous" and "unsafe" simply for having different views isn't community-building--it's divisive, and it's bad for business. Profiling customers and publicly signaling who is "acceptable" to walk through your door is not how you grow or sustain a welcoming business. As a result, I won't be spending my money here anymore, and I won't be recommending it to others. If the energy spent dividing the community were redirected into improving product quality--like making cakes that are actually moist and buttercream that doesn't resemble Play-Doh--it might do more good for the business than turning customers away. Supporting local businesses should feel inclusive, not conditional.

Goodies abound,cand there is a variety of caffeinated beverages as well as a number of tables. One in front seats 2 and is in a little nook, but was occupied. There are also tables in the rear of the store. Jacquelyn was working alone and was most affable and accommodating. We bought a bunch of things, including for later that day and the next. I'd highly recommend this for anyone with a sweet tooth, any coffee lover, and anyone fancying some gustatory delight!

Pizza was delicious as usual and served within about 10 minutes after we arrived. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The charge for the meal was $30 plus a cash tip. I think this is a little expensive for a medium pizza and one drink however we can only eat half the pizza at one time, so we took the other half home with us and had it for lunch today and it was still excellent. This of course cuts the cost to about $15 per lunch which makes it very reasonable. Men's bathroom was very clean and neat. Try it you'll like it.

We were greeted by the friendly cashier. We noticed the wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen. I ordered the Italian sub which was "a good choice" and my daughter got the baked ziti. We sat down to wait and my daughter needed a pencil to work on her homework so I asked the gentleman at the cash register. He went out of his way to scrounge one up for my daughter so she could work on her homework while we waited for our food. Shortly thereafter the food came out and we were able to indulge in a wonderful Italian sub and my daughter munched on the lettuce in the salad in the car. She commented how fresh the lettuce was and then when she got home, she devoured the baked ziti which she said was fantastic. We are so glad that we stopped and hopefully we will try and make a tradition of stopping by weekly if possible so glad. September 9, 2026 My new vehicle does not give me much…read morenotice for low fuel. The car started to sputter. I wasn't sure if it was low fuel, but decided to head for Sheetz. Being a Sheetz "My Card" holder, I headed to this store for gas. I was 30 ft. away from the pump when the car just stopped. Could not restart or shift into Neutral to push to the pump island. A Sheetz employee named Jacob came out to help me. He spent at least 10 minutes trying to help me by googling the procedure to get the vehicle into the Neutral position to no avail. I finally decided to purchase a small gas can and a gallon of gas. Jacob assisted me with getting the gas into the tank. The car started and I filled it up at the pump. Spending my whole career in Customer Service, I was very impressed by the manner in which Jacob handled himself. He was very polite, patient and professional.
