Very relaxing atmosphere. This has been our 3rd time here and it does not disappoint. We got a baklava cream puff, apple pie cake slice and the most delicious macaroons. My favorite was the banana pudding ( Yellow) and my moms was the (purple) PB& J. We most definitely will continue coming back!

OMG! If you are looking for a cake for any event, or just to be gluttonous and satisfy your sweet tooth, you must try this bakery! I had a chocolate peanut butter fudge cake personally made by the most wonderfully nice baker named Sadie. This cake was AMAZING! The real peanut butter used in the fudge and icing was obvious. No skimping on the ingredients and the attention to detail was so nice. Please don't hesitate to come try anything from this small town bakery. They should be on their own tv show! Ask for Sadie.

I have been wanting to try this place for awhile. Beautiful day to do so with two of my friends . It was crowded but line went swiftly. Only 3 tables for inside seating. We were going to take food to Sam Lewis Park to eat it there but a table opened. We Ordered Irish cream cold brew, oh my, so delicious. We ordered strawberries and cream crepe and the morning mix crepe. Flavorful yet light. Only one person making them but it doesn't take long. She takes her time and crafts a yummy masterpiece. We didn't get any pastries this time. Definitely recommend and going again.

First time visiting and WBB made a great impression! Very welcoming and relaxing decor, a few bistro type tables inside and some outdoor tables also. It's located on a side street with easy pull in parking. Received a friendly greeting and counter displays of all the bakery items are very enticing. I enjoyed seeing the area behind counter where bakers are busy creating the desserts. I got the cherry cheesecake and the heart shaped Tandycake. The cheesecake was creamy and very delicious - I would highly recommend. I wasn't sure what to expect from the Tandycake but I saw on social media they are a favorite and I can see now for good reason. Not overly sweet and just the right amount of thin peanut butter layer and chocolate glaze over a flavorful cake layer. The cake was a denser cake that added to the overall appeal. I will definitely return to try other items and would like to have lunch or breakfast there as it had a very inviting ambiance.

We had a tough time finding a Macaron we liked and ventured to The Golden Whisk after trying 4 previous bakeries and were pleasantly surprised. The baker explained they make their Macarons with White Chocolate Ganache, but they would make a few samples with other filling if I could come back next week (I, the bride do not like chocolate). So we left this day with bellies full of other sweets (highly recommend the lemon bar and a Chai Tea Latte) and waited a week to return. We came back the following Saturday to pick-up a sample, to our surprise there was not one but multiple samples with non-chocolate ganache filling (amazing) AND the baker hand wrote on each to make sure we knew what we were trying. We were very happy with the the samples and moved forward with ordering a Macaron Tower for our Wedding with the Chai (cream colored) and Cookies & Cream flavors (black & white colored).... TO DIE FOR, these flavors were BETTER than the samples and we didn't event try either of these flavors previously! We highly recommend The Golden Whisk for your next event or just stop by to grab yourself a drink and a pastry (we are from southern York it's work the drive).

I'd driven past it countless times over the last few years but either didn't have enough time to stop or couldn't convince anyone else to stop with me. During my Lancaster Adventure Day, though, all of that changed. I purchased a Single Scoop ticket online ahead of time for $16.75 and reserved the very first time slot of the day at 10am. I figured a late-summer Thursday morning would be the sweet spot, and it turned out to be a great decision. It was busy enough that the place felt lively but not so crowded that I had to wait for every exhibit. Parking was plentiful, and I somehow managed to snag a spot right in front of the GIANT cow out front. Honestly, my day was already off to a fantastic start! The only hiccup of the visit came during check-in. Even though I'd already purchased my ticket online, I still had to wait in the same line as everyone buying gift shop items, purchasing admission and asking questions. Since there were only a two employees working both the registers and admissions, the line moved a little slower than I expected. If I could change one thing, it would be creating a separate express check-in line for folks who already have tickets. Once I finally made it inside, though, everything became easy peasy! The exhibits are completely self-guided, so you can wander at your own pace learning how Turkey Hill makes its ice cream and iced tea while playing with interactive displays along the way. One of my favorite parts was creating my own virtual ice cream flavor, complete with custom packaging. I also wanted to film my own Turkey Hill commercial, but those stations stayed busy the entire time I was there, so that'll have to wait until another visit. Naturally, I made a beeline for the tea sampling station. As someone who appreciates sugar-free options, I was thrilled to find both Zero Sugar Sweet Tea and Zero Sugar Fruit Punch available to sample. Both were fantastic! Then it was time for the part we'd all been waiting for...unlimited ice cream samples. One thing I really appreciated is that they weren't tiny little "blink and it's gone" samples. You picked two flavors, and they served actual scoops in a bowl. For an attraction centered around ice cream, that felt exactly right. My only tiny complaint? Wooden popsicle sticks instead of spoons. They definitely got the job done, but they made eating melting ice cream a little more awkward than it needed to be. Still...free and unlimited ice cream? I'm not about to complain too loudly! I spent about an hour wandering through the exhibits, playing with the interactive displays and enjoying the air conditioning on a hot August morning before making one final stop in the gift shop. Prices there were about what you'd expect for a tourist attraction, but there were plenty of fun souvenirs if you're looking to bring a little Turkey Hill home with you. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend visiting the Turkey Hill Experience at least once. I don't know that it's somewhere I'd return over and over again, but it was a fun, interactive way to spend an hour learning something new, eating entirely acceptable quantities of free ice cream and escaping the August heat. That sounds like a pretty successful adventure day to me!

The interactive exhibits were engaging, and the kids loved learning how ice cream is made and creating their own virtual flavors. The highlight was definitely sampling the different ice cream flavors and making our own ice cream creations.
