Cake flight Boston cream, Choclate PB, Choclate decadence . - A rectangular white plate on a wooden table displays three slices of cake: a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting, a chocolate cake with dark frosting, and a layered chocolate cake with cream filling. A small glass cup of black coffee is placed next to the plate, with a black plastic fork resting on a napkin. A white napkin is positioned behind the plate, and the setting appears to be in a cafe or restaurant.

We heard about this place from one of the breweries we stopped at. Why not have a cake flight before dinner? They had a decent variety but I would say some of the cake was more fresh than others. A nice experience overall.

A cupcake is decorated to resemble a cow, with cream-colored frosting piped to mimic fur, chocolate and fondant details for the face, ears, and horns, and small edible decorations for eyes. It is positioned on a black and white surface, likely a tray or plate, with other similar cupcakes partially visible in the background.

Amanda, Thank you for making our 40th surprise birthday party a smashing hit. Your custom cake and cupcakes were a show-stopper. ***I ordered a Highland Cow 6" cake (peanut butter mousse with chocolate icing) and sixty plus highland cow cupcakes (yellow, chocolate and pumpkin flavors) to supplement. The butter cream frosting had the perfect combination of flavor, smooth texture with just the right amount of sweet. The cake and cupcakes were fresh and moist (even after I had them in the refrigerator for an extended amount of time). The Cake Bar captured the perfect amount of frosting to cake ratio. Each treat was and simply scrumptious. The cake and cupcakes were delicately decorated and exploding with "WOW". Your skill, creativity and artistic talent are remarkable. Each cupcake and the cake were a work of art of their own. From my initial inquiry, working through a concept and to final delivery, I was given a really personalized and professional service. I couldn't be more impressed with the finished cake and cupcakes. Everyone loved them. The Cake bar is by far, comparable to none. I will sing the praises of The Cake Bar to anyone with a five star +++ rating an recommend no others. Thank you for your incredible work. Stitch cake - The cake has a Stitch character figurine made of fondant or similar material, holding a small bird, placed on top of a decorated cake surface. The surface includes pink flowers, a pink bow, and green leaves, creating a colorful and detailed design suitable for a celebration.

Beautiful cakes! Easy to work with and best of all taste delicious. I can't find all the pictures of cakes and cookies they have made for us.

Cat-shaped cookies as wedding favors - A collection of cat-shaped cookies decorated with pink, white, and black icing, featuring facial details such as eyes, noses, and whiskers, arranged on a wooden table. Each cookie is individually wrapped in clear plastic, with some decorated with sprinkles. The setting appears to be indoors, near a window with a view outside.

We had the Cake Bar make our wedding cake and some extra desserts for our wedding, and we were very pleased with the results. First, the cake was delicious - we got three tiers, each with its own flavor, and each was excellent. The lemon cake is a particular standout! We also got various assorted desserts to accompany the cake, such as cookies, cupcakes, and macarons. These were also great, and our guests snapped them up, the macarons especially! Finally, we asked them to make special favors for us - cookies decorated to look like our cats. We were very pleased with the result, and they turned out just about as cute as the real thing! Amanda met with us several times to help us work out the details and was very helpful. Overall we were very pleased with both the service and desserts we received, and we'll absolutely be stopping in next time we're in the area to grab a slice or two.

White chocolate pumpkin cheesecake and Grandma's Fudge (yellow cake with chocolate frosting.)

We stopped here for dessert after dinner. Destination dessert in Hanover is now one of my new favorite things. We ordered two slices-- white chocolate pumpkin cheesecake and Grandma's Fudge, which is a yellow cake with chocolate frosting. The service was fast and delightful, even though it was verging on their last hour open. Both tasted wonderful-- great textures, good frosting to cake ratio, and the cheesecake was topped with these sugared pecans which just made each bite. Truthfully, my favorite part of the experience was the frosted mug of milk to wash it all down. They were happy to give us a box for leftovers. It's a cozy little space where you can eat at the bar or at a variety of tables. They're family friendly and offer some gluten free options as well. The Cake Bar is definitely a new downtown gem, and I can't wait to try something different next time. We will be back!

Last week I ordered a fruit tart cake with a quick and very informational response from their Facebook messenger. They said a week notice and the cake was done the day I needed it and they even allowed me to pick it up that day even though they were closed and I thought that was so kind of them. When picking up the cake she was very nice. Definitely recommend the cake bar! The cake was so beautiful and delicious! #supportlocalbusinesses

Cakes were good. Unfortunately we got there an it on the late side so they had a fairly limited selection.

Even when something wasn't to my taste, I'd come back and try something else--because that's what supporting small businesses looks like. I want local shops to thrive, not get swallowed up by big-box stores. That said, I was genuinely disappointed after seeing Jacquelyn's recent Facebook post. Everyone is entitled to personal opinions, but using a business platform to label people as "dangerous" and "unsafe" simply for having different views isn't community-building--it's divisive, and it's bad for business. Profiling customers and publicly signaling who is "acceptable" to walk through your door is not how you grow or sustain a welcoming business. As a result, I won't be spending my money here anymore, and I won't be recommending it to others. If the energy spent dividing the community were redirected into improving product quality--like making cakes that are actually moist and buttercream that doesn't resemble Play-Doh--it might do more good for the business than turning customers away. Supporting local businesses should feel inclusive, not conditional.

Goodies abound, cand there is a variety of caffeinated beverages as well as a number of tables. One in front seats 2 and is in a little nook, but was occupied. There are also tables in the rear of the store. Jacquelyn was working alone and was most affable and accommodating. We bought a bunch of things, including for later that day and the next. I'd highly recommend this for anyone with a sweet tooth, any coffee lover, and anyone fancying some gustatory delight!
