There we a couple of other instance and there was never accountability squirm.... Honestly that's unlike 95% of contractors. ADVICE - If the lighting wasn't going to work or look nice, he told you. If the switches we're in the wrong place in the blueprint, he told you. If a door or opening would have been better served with a pocket door instead of a swinging door, like into a bedroom closet, he told you. He told you nicely, politely, never insinuating that I did not know what I was doing or that the architect was bad or wrong. He'd just politely and slowly walk me through a few different scenarios and the real life placement of things and was 100% right in all of his corrective suggestions. The one time I did not listen to him and thought I knew better, after a few months I realized I was completely wrong. MAIN SUBS - Whenever his subs were scheduled to show up, they did, on time, always clean-cut and professional, smiling, and happy. They cleaned up EVERY DAY. Other previous contractors thought nothing of leaving trash on the floor or even dangerous nails when I had small children in the house. I think he is one of, if not, the BEST IN THE BUSINESS and I plan on doing more with him in the future.

We had been to Home Depot and Lowe's looking at peel and stick tile which we found would not work. He suggested mosaic tile would work and that they could do the project. He said to go pick up mosaic tile at whatever big box store we would like so we went to Floor Decor and discovered a stone pattern that we really liked. Tyler's guys came over and did a immaculate job and transformed our blasé fireplace into a piece of art. Everything went so smoothly and so well you would never know these guys were even in our house. I can't say enough positive about Tyler and 123 Remodeling. After changing light fixture in our kitchen, previous painter messed up texture. Called Coombs who responded to my "Nextdoor" request. Ivory showed up to my Chandler home within 30 minutes with price to texture and paint entire ceiling for reasonable price. Monday morning, she and brother Corey showed up with fancy spray equipment and entire job was completed in one day. Very professional, cleaned up, left extra paint. In the last 24 months I've needed to hire a building contractor twice. This last time was…read moreespecially stressful because it came after a leak with mold remediation. After hiring a contractor for that (remediation) and having a third party independent testing company test, to be sure the mold was gone, I was ready to rebuild. I interviewed 3 contractors, (one recommended by the remediation company and 2 others I found on my own). To be honest this whole process is not fun, in short, it's homeowners hell. Quentin and Urban Elements stood out above the other 2 contractors for the following reasons: Quick and professional response. He answered all my questions, when I asked about something he had missed (my wall was down to the wall studs and covered in plastic so it was hard to see), he took another look and had an answer within 24 hours. One of the contractors I did NOT hire didn't even know his ROC#, and took days just to let me know his company's license number. In addition the communication was great and Quentin was always available by text and responded quickly. When I did sign with Urban Elements the contract was clear: timeline, payment schedule and completion. They adhered to everything in writing. (Contrast that to a contractor who wanted me to agree to abide by the laws of Texas, when I live in Arizona.) Additionally Quentin assured me that every subcontractor who worked on my house would be licensed. There were several subcontractors and everyone who came, was a true pro, they showed up on time, were respectful and did a great job. I honestly hope I never have to rebuild a room again but Quentin made a truly stressful experience 100% better and I feel fortunate to have found him. Lastly his bids were competitive with the other 2 bids I received.

Quentin communicated with me weekly and gave me progress reports/photos and never once asked for more money then what we had originally agreed on. That means they're telling me -- with a straight face -- that it takes TEN HOURS to install one door. Ten hours. For a door. So thank you, I guess, for sending a bid that basically screams, "We're not the fair‑price, get‑it-done, honest‑work kind of outfit -- we're the 'let's see what we can get away with' kind." Absolutely unbelievable.
