If you have a chance, visit, pick your seafood of choice (rock crab, shrimp, lobster, spider crab, fish & chips, clam chowder) and eat there in the Fisherman Wharf or bring it home to fully enjoy the deliciousness!! It's fresh, sweet and just yummos!! :) :)

Grilled prawns are so delishes but at $53/lb for 6-8 pieces kond of high for me. They also have lobster, shrimp, fried or grilled, fish (cod) & chips . We ordered today, 5 crabs, 2 orders fish & chips, grilled shrimp, large Clam chowder with total of $140. The swafood fresh, crab meats so tender and sweet. Unfortunately, I m writing this bc I found out today, this place will permanently close July 6th, 2026. This is the only place left open in this worn out area. The people working there said, the old buildings will be demolished and they will build something else. Too bad they will not return. So if you have a chance, go visit before it happens. This place is delicious and worth the 1.5 hrs from where we live.

I've only ever eaten to-go from here so I can't honestly speak to the ambiance of the joint-- though it seems nice when I pick up my food. Once arrived we were greeted right away by the owner and staff and was seated right away. Luckily the restaurant wasn't that busy yet. Right of the bat service from Samantha P was fantastic and very friendly. As for the food we ordered 3 different appetizer and 2 main seafood dishes to share. Appetizers: Aquachiles- They were freshly made that morning and the was fantastic. Clam Strips- They were fresh and nicely battered. Portions were on the small side. Delaware Bay Oysters- Fantastic and so fresh. Very clean tasting. For the main dishes we ordered: 5oz Blackened Red Snapper- The snapper was grilled perfect. It was flaky and moist. 4pc Alaskan Cod Fish & Chips- I ordered it half Beer Battered and half Panko Fried. The panko came out dry but had a better crispness to it. The beer battered is the way to go. The fish was moist and flaky and the batter was nice and light as well. Plus the chips ( Fries) where amazing. I believe they were double fried. It was crispy on the outer layer and creamy inside. All in all we did enjoyed our Mother's Day lunch at Fisherman's Catch. Until our next visit.

Looking for somewhere to eat fish and chips passing through Oxnard and this did not disappoint!…read moreLove that they have family bucket of fish and chips and had the Dodger game on. The fish was FRESH. Perfectly crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside. Also got burgers for the kids and hush puppies. The kids burgers were cooked nicely, not dry. Everything was made to order so expect a small wait but very worth it. Service was friendly and very casual spot with really good food. Stop in and give it a try!

For over 25 years, this spot has remained a "go to" in the community, and we love seeing these old school treasures continue to thrive. From the moment you walk in, you get those nostalgic, old-school vibes. Loved all of the decor and pictures of fisherman throughout the place. The service here was awesome. Super friendly and welcoming, and the gentleman at the register gave great recommendations. He knew the menu well and was able to help me out with some suggestions. Honestly, the menu is so extensive it was hard to choose, but here's what I went with: Fish & Chips (2 piece plate): 5/5. The batter was light yet perfectly crispy, not overly heavy, and the fish itself was fresh, flaky, and high quality. Paired with a solid tartar sauce, this is a must order dish. The French fries were classic and I loved their coleslaw. Grilled Thresher Shark Plate: 4.5/5. This one was a standout for me given how hard it is to find shark on menus nowadays. I actually grew up eating shark, so this felt super nostalgic. The staff highly recommended it, and I'm so glad I listened. The grilled shark was mild, tender, and full of flavor thanks to their delicious balsamic glaze marinade. If you've ever been curious about trying shark, this is the place to do it. I'll be back again for this soon. Overall, the food was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying and the best part? It doesn't break the bank. Prices were reasonable and portions were generous. Definitely check them out if you haven't already, a great old school restaurant in Oxnard.

The place itself was clean, had a cool vibe and a nice bar area. It wasn't overly busy, so we were seated right away. I ordered the Big Breakfast for $21. Unfortunately, it was pretty underwhelming. Most of the food came out lukewarm and didn't have much flavor. The ham was questionable and probably the biggest miss on the plate. The pancakes, however, were actually good. Service was decent. Our drinks were refilled frequently and the staff took care of us, although nobody was overly friendly. The restaurant was also surprisingly quiet for a Sunday around lunch, especially for a marina location that seems like it should be packed. Overall, I was disappointed with the value. For the price of the meal, I expected either better quality or larger portions -- preferably both. As a chef, that's probably what disappointed me most because there is so much opportunity with this location. We did see a few lunch specials coming out of the kitchen that looked much better than our breakfast, so maybe we simply ordered the wrong thing. I probably won't return based on this visit, but I also wouldn't say it was terrible. Three stars feels fair -- decent place and great potential, but our breakfast just didn't deliver for the price.
