My experience would be unbelievable if it didn't happen. Seven years ago we bought new kitchen cabinets from Andy Foster. After one or two years of use, we experienced some lack of quality and I began calling the cabinet maker for some advice but never received an answer to my messages. I continued to call the cabinet supplier over the next several years with no satisfaction. Foster Kitchens designed and supplied the cabinets but didn't manufacture them, but Andy agreed that the quality should have been better. Since we dealt with Andy Foster, he made the problem go away, at his expense. We had three wood craftsmen working in our kitchen these past few days, one of which was Andy Foster, correcting someone else's poor workmanship. No matter whether a company is an IBM or a locally owned business, things don't always go 100% right. How those businesses correct the problems, is what makes the difference. One of the worst experiences I've had with any vendor in my 25 years in Ithaca. Went in and spent a…read morehalf hour getting advice from Susan on choice of wall tiles for partial kitchen remodel and was advised on selecting particular tile. Susan also advised me to first wait for them to order a sample tile before I placed my order and advised me that the sample should be in in a few weeks. Two months later, when I had heard nothing back, called in. After finally getting past their terrible voicemail system that constantly told me it had not yet been set up so no messages could be left, I finally spoke with salesperson who told me Susan would get back to me in a few days. Two weeks later, still no call back, left both a voicemail message and sent email to Susan's attention. Now one month after that, still no call back, no reply to the email... nothing. What a huge waste of my time and a needless delay of two months for no reason whatsoever. Fortunately, I wrote down the tile manufacturer's name and was able to finally contact the manufacturer directly to proceed with my order.

I received a call from my old neighbor, Brenda and was told she had hired this company to do some…read morerepairs for her that were not done correctly. I ended up driving out to her house to take a look at what was going on after being told Elias would not respond to her calls after missing an appointment to come see what went wrong. When I got there, she showed me what he had done. He had replaced a leaking 90 in her pipe going to her hose bib. She explained that when she turned on the water shutoff to the pipe, she could hear water running. When she went outside to check there was water pouring out of the wall. I took the paneling off the wall and noticed he had caused a compression fitting to loosen when he put a 90 SharkBite in the leaking 90's place. As a contractor myself I understand these things happen, the problem I have is, he would have known there was a break if he would have turned the water back on to the pipe. He obviously did not check his work after, because the compression was not even attached anymore. After fixing it, I turned the water back on and the 90 was leaking. I noticed that it was never even seated the entire way. A quick push and it was back together. I also noticed that the pipe was dangling and allowing the bib to spin now that there was a SharkBite attached. I attached a pipe hanger as well as screwed the bib to the wall. Any contractor worth his salt would have at least checked his work and fixed the problems he created. I would not recommend this company.
