The brunette bartender wouldn't acknowledge us at all--no eye contact, no response--even when we tried to ask a simple question, just moving on to the next customer. When we finally got to the blonde bartender, the experience didn't improve. She seemed uninterested in helping, rolled her eyes when we asked questions, and was dismissive when my wife asked if her drink could be made less sweet, saying "that's just how it is." I also asked a question about one of their bourbons and was told to go to the store where they could tell me, which didn't make much sense and would have meant starting the whole order process over again. We even overheard another customer mention they'd been dealing with the same attitude all night, so it didn't seem like an isolated incident. This was our second visit. The first time, on a similarly busy Sunday, everything was great--which makes this even more disappointing. Based on this experience, it will likely be our last visit.

The bartender and the handful of likely regulars/townies looked at us like we had personally ruined their week. Then they blocked me on Instagram for saying so. Bold strategy. When she finally helped me, I ordered 3 glasses of wine, a beer and a soda. When she served the wine, they were in plastic cups and said sorry we ran out of glassware; for a place I'm paying $18/glass, you surely should've asked first before pouring into a plastic cup. I was not happy but she didn't seem to care; my card was on the bar already so she took it and away she went. I have been to Grand Geneva many times in the past, even worked there for a few years, and I expect a heck of a lot better. Very disappointing.
