I had my IPad and Apple 5c battery repaired and he did great with both. The technician even did a diagnostic on both items with out additional problems or charge. That technician was very polite and knowledgeable and offered helpful hints to make my experience with my devices easier. There needs to be a negative stars option for a business that will basically steal your electronic devices. About a month ago I brought my Xbox to be fixed here. The Xbox had minor damages and was easily repaired. A friend was paying me to make a roster on a game for him so I let cool geeks know that if I could get my Xbox back sooner than later it would be most appreciated. Cool geeks promised me that he would try his best to get it done by the next day and guaranteed me my Xbox back the day after. It has now been almost a month and I still have not gotten my Xbox back after numerous attempts to communicate with him about this I have been ignored and promised calls that I never receive. The location of this business is in a building with different services. The first thing you smell when you walk into the building is a rotten mold smell. I was a bit sketchy about going in. The office is located down the hall to the right, it is very small. All the computers, laptops, iPad, iPhones..etc was laying around without any organization whatsoever. This is the worst service I have ever been given. I cracked my iPad 2 screen. I bought a $75 Groupon for a screen replacement. I took my iPad in and the assistant took all my information down. The assistant did not take any pictures of my iPad before any service was done. She told me it would take about 1 week at the most. It took them 4 weeks before I received my iPad back. My iPad had minor damages before giving it to them to be serviced. Now there are more damages to the outer aluminum backing. The screen does not fit my iPad correctly. I have been back and forth to this place maybe about 20 times complaining how long they've had my iPad. After I picked up my iPad, I was VERY dissatisfied. The screen was separating, aluminum backing has been bent and damaged at the corners. I brought my iPad back to show the separation and told me that you have to bend out the corners to get the screen to fit. Then asked me if there was something else that can be done. I just said no. Otherwise they'll keep it for another 2 months?? NO THANK YOU! I wanted a refund.. But I think they need the money more since the location of the office is disgusting. The manager offered to fix the adhesive on the spot. I watched him as he worked on my iPad. Once he gave back my iPad he told me to sit a few books on top of my iPad to make the adhesive stick. (Ghetto?) I will NOT recommend this business to anybody. They take on too much work load than they can handle. None of the employees seem to know what they are doing. Got my son's Xbox One fixed in one day and the price was very reasonable. Had to replace the disk drive. After a short conversation I realized he's an Air Force Veteran. Will definitely return to get my electronics fixed. Please support this small business and Military Vet!!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. What an absolute joke of a business. I took my PS4 to this business to see why it was not staying powered on. The guy looked at it and said he could fix it and gave me a quote of 125. He said it would take 3-7 days. I asked if I could pay extra to have the services expedited. He said I could pay for overnight shipping on the replacement parts, and that he would have it fixed in 2 days. Long story short, I've talked to this guy over 20 times, and a month later, I still do not have my ps4 back. When I finally talk to him after attempting to call multiple times, I'm always given another lie about how this or that is holding up the process, but that it should be ready the next day. Luckily, I didn't pay anything up front. He will not get a penny of my money. I am still in the process of retrieving my broken ps4 back from this business. If I do not get it back soon, I will involve law enforcement. I was talking to a friend of mine last week who had just had her iPhone screen replaced. It looked terrible and was not fixed properly at all. I asked her where she had it done and she said Cool Geeks! I was not surprised. We talked about our horrible experiences with this "business." I can clearly see this guy has great potential and probably can do the work. The problem is that he is a one man show and takes on too many customers. He is not equipped to handle the volume and in return we, the customer, get the run around when trying to call him and a lot of excuses when we finally reach him. He makes a lot of promises but so far for me has lived up to none. I guess you would call him a liar at this point. He is extremely unprofessional. There is more to professionalism that speaking well. He is cheap but you basically have to stalk him to get your product fixed or returned. I took my laptop in for one issue and when I came to get it there was a whole other set of issues unrelated to what I had brought it in for. He promised to have is fixed in 24 hours. I was on the way to him and called to ensure he was in office, he was but on that Saturday he informed me that it wouldn't be ready until Monday. I decided at that moment that I would just show up and take my stuff home. 3 weeks working with this guy for nothing. I ended up ordering a new one and calling it good. Pay the money for a more professional person or just buy new. read more

Like the other review DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They still have my phone that I took in to have screen replaced. Was told that Friday that it would be $65.00 and would be ready by 4pm that same day....boy was I lied to. When I go to pick up my phone he tells me that something else had to be replaced as well and that now it would cost me $165.00 and I had to pay him up front for the part. I saw my phone and it was completely messed up so with that being said there was no turning back at this point. I paid the money and was promised once again that it would be ready the next day. I received no phone calls and when I called him he wouldn't return my calls so I went back to the nasty place they call a business and his assistant was the only one there. She told me the part came in defective and didn't know what to say about the terrible customer service. She said he was out buying a part for another irritate customer who was promised something. I asked what it was and she said a Nintendo. Really?? Here I am without a telephone and he is worried about a stupid video game I could go on and on but It won't do any good.
