Delicious!! I've passed by this place many times and finally decided to stop. I'm so glad I did. I was having a self-care date with myself so after my massage I popped in. I was immediately greeted and told I could choose a seat. It was around 4pm so there were only a few other guests there. They brought me a water right away (which I needed after the massage lol). I ordered a drink first. I decided on the old fashioned. It was pretty good. The menu has tons of options so it was hard to decide. I ended up choosing the Cool Fish Crunch Roll and the Vegan Mango Roll. Both were phenomenal! The wasabi sauce on the CFC roll was amazing!! Wish I could bottle it and take it home. The Key To longevity in a restaurant is great customer service. When you hire kids from the college, where their rich parents made them get a job, will be the difference between repeat customers or im never spending $60 bucks here again for wings. When i paid and got outside, two lovely couples asked me about whether or not they should go there or next door. I said "Eh", they were like ok thanks. There is one trillion restaurants around you. Our first time here. It might have been our last. We ordered a bulgogi bowl and it wasn't good. The meat was tough and some of the vegetables weren't cooked properly. We also ordered some various sushi and rolls. The sushi and the rolls were good however the service left a lot to be desired. We started with one waitress, but never saw her again. Instead we were handed off to at least three other servers, causing a 20 minute delay in our last item ordered. I really enjoyed my wasabi sushi roll. However, my party did not have as good of an experience. My boyfriends food came out burnt, and his mother's food was flavorless. Moreover, she ordered a seafood bowl and there was only shrimp in it... is it then just a shrimp bowl or was there more seafood left out? My boyfriend did have his bowl sent back and when it came back the sauce did not come on it. When the waitress asked how he liked it and he said it was flavorless she mentioned "oh you should have ordered extra sauce" and brought it out-- however, the sauce should have come on the dish to begin with. Furthermore, our food all came out at a different time with at least 15 minutes in between. My boyfriends mother also pointed out how the waitress did not ever once apologize for the many missteps. Although we recognize she isn't in the kitchen, it leaves a better impression to seem to care that the guests are having a good experience. Wednesday is for ladies with half priced rolls, now if that isn't enough to get you through the doors their also serving up Prosseco for $2.95 a glass! Prosseco is yummy the bubbles are smaller and not as dry as champagne. In my book bubbles are always a great way to start an evening. Tuesday, three tacos for $3.95 choices are steak, chicken, shrimp or marinated pork belly served in corn tortillas. The poke bowls I liked them. They are simply dressed with large chunks of fresh fish. Mine had tuna, yellow tail and escolar in it a spicy mango salsa, red onion, sliced cucumber and ginger. Last night was just awful. Love the DJ but not on high volume at 630 pm. We had a group of 6 and we could not hear anything that was being said - including the 24 year olds in our group, so it wasn't just an age thing. our waitress was kind but in the weeds. We waited to order, waited for drinks for food and for check. We were there over 2 hours just to get sushi. The food is always great but the experience a different story. First we stood in the doorway and waited for someone up seat us, that never happened. Then we went to look for a seat and the server, age about 16, asked us what we were doing. We decided to just sit at the counter , another mistake. We finally ordered, no set ups, warm water, forgot our appetizer, ( but charged us) Forgot our drinks ( but charged us) forgot our entry ( we finally got it) We received three checks before the amount was finally correct. My adult daughter and I visited Cool Fish for the first time recently and really enjoyed it. It is a small restaurant with a cool atmosphere. The attentive servers were great. Everything on the menu sounded appealing. I got the salted edamame and pork buns, which were both delectable. My daughter got the ramen bowl, which she rated as outstanding. We went in for our first visit to celebrate the parental units anniversary. We were seated right away and greeted by Ross. He was a great server who kept us engaged, listened to what our likes were and made some great recommendations. There was water immediately and the food and drinks were served quickly. The food was great! The sushi was fresh. The bulgogi bowl was wonderful and Ross even brought a fried cheesecake to celebrate my parents anniversary.
