ATMOSPHERE: They're located in a two-level strip mall at the fork of Lower Main and Mill Streets. Parking was adequate but my weekend appointment time probably resulted in more empty stalls. The simply-decorated shop was cool, clean and sported four hair stations, a hair-washing bowl and back area where they also do waxing. Lighting was a bit dim but I guess my stylist can still see, LOL. EXPERIENCE: My every other week standing-appointment was rudely interrupted by COVID in March 2020. As the weeks went by, I thought of growing my hair super long but came to my senses once June approached. I consulted with my stylist for about 10 seconds before giving her the green light to go low. I really didn't want to buzz-cut the sides and back but it's the only way to deal with zoysia grass-like hair. A few days prior, I texted her a picture of what my end goal was and I can say it's well on its way, though the top is still too short to do a nice back comb. My patience shall be rewarded! POST COVID: Masks were required at all times. There was no protective barrier in between hair stations but no one was in the chair next to me nor next to the only other customer in the shop across the way. Fabric sofa chairs in the waiting area were sprayed with some kind of cleaner. OVERALL: It'll be a while until everyone can get their mops chopped so get in line! Luckily I have a regular stylist which makes things so easy.

When the cut began I was already concerned about with her lack of basic equipment as she only used a mini detailer clippers while in a disgusted manner, and a straight arm, keeping ample distance she continued to lackadaisically cut my hair while complaining about how she hates cutting men's hair and that she's an aesthetician and she thinks it's so simple and boring, and that she hates it ad nauseam. The salon is located in the same strip mall as Pro Nails and JS Kuge Jeweler (Lower Main & Hookahi Streets.) I've seen the work done on her nails and they look neat and professional. All the little blingy jewels, colors, and art work look pretty intricate! Her skill was very apparent when comparing to some of the other hair cut places nearby (specifically the one across the street, they're horrible).
