I had called 2 other companies that told me that they couldn't fix but add something and still not be 100% sure it'll cool down, and it was two different outrages prices. I am so grateful for Cool Camel! My air conditioner went out on not only a Sunday night, but also the hottest day of the year so far. I called around and was told no one was able to come for days. When I called Cool Camel and spoke with Sadie, I was first told that someone might be able to come that night or maybe the next morning. Our realtor Sophia Smith referred us to Cool Camel in the summer of 2021 when our ac unit in our new home died. This company worked with our home warranty to help us get a new unit. We did have to pay some out of pocket but the warranty paid a lot. We have since called them a few times for questions or problems and they have been extremely helpful. During our second big heat wave this summer our air conditioner went out. After our home warranty failed us and gave us permission to seek our own service provider I was able to get them to come out at 7am after calling at 10pm the day before. They were early and from the second Jay (the company owner) stepped into our home we knew we were in good hands. He was prompt with his diagnosis and quote, which was extremely competitive. Due to us trying to get our home warranty to pay at least some of the cost he had to call and deal with them, which was not an easy task, and he was happy to do it. He spent an hour on the phone with them fighting to get us whatever he could. He spent time with us answering our questions and helping to educate us on what was going on so we understood what they were doing. Our neighbors air went out the same day and while he was at our house fixing ours was able to get their unit working with parts he had on hand already. They got it working in great time and the next day Jay stopped by the house just to check on us! He is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They are a small family business (his wife works the phones) and he employs other family members.
