Deleted one star from my previous review For the owner or manager trying to gaslight me by saying…read morethat the lines on the pictures that I've provided are cracks in the cement blocks is just BS. They are mud tubes specifically from termites. Anyone looking at those pictures can blow them up and see that they are external to the wall (on top of the cinderblock ) and not a crack in the cinderblock. Besides, I actually crushed one of the mud tube lines and they were mud tubes. On top of that the two pieces of antique furniture that I had right up against that area is the only thing that got termites. They didn't come in with the furniture. The furniture was destroyed because of the termites that are in the facility. They came up through the openings in one of the other pictures at the base of the wall. And spread out from there. I ended up taking my furniture right to the dump because I didn't want to bring a termite infestation with me

They said it's standard practice but I didn't deal with that anywhere else. This place is humid and stinks bad of urine and cigarettes. That ruins your stuff by allowing homeless to live on property. Jessica is the worst manager ever she follows people around and gets all up in your business by standing close to you when you're putting things away. Their excuse is they always do that. How convenient. After explaining my concerns I got only one call this whole time renting here. It was from rude Jessica Martinez to cancel my "lease." not to ask about my experience or nothing just treats you like shit. I will gladly leave your dumpy storage place but first let me warn others.

I paid $187 for an open air parking space for my daughter's car to be stored for a few days - as she was moving cross-country and her car was being picked up by a transporter. I paid $60+ extra to have 24/7 access. I reserved a space for a month. The car was there 2 days. That's fine, but good lord, I have been jumping through hoops trying to cancel. If I could leave a zero I would. I became a customer in August 2014. I had never used CubeSmart…read morebefore but was in search of a storage facility to house my personal belongings preparing for the sale of my home. Moving is taxing. I purposefully asked about the safety and crime at this location and was assured there were 24hour camera's covering the property and any necessity to review footage associated with my unit would be allowed. The purchase of insurance is apart of the contract and between Cubesmart's own representatives, security, and the insurance company, my belongings would be alright. You could imagine my surprise, as well as the moving company who was with me, as I opened my storage unit one month later and found my belongings stolen, package stuffing all over the floor. I hope you never have the misfortune of being robbed. To have the items that mean the most to you, collected over a lifetime, taken. After informing the Phoenix police I also discovered how unfriendly Cubesmart staff is when something negative happens on their property. One woman rolled her eyes and didn't even flinch at the idea there was a theft on the property. Little help was offered and she seemed focused on getting me out of the office and their faces. I was not confrontational, as I was still quite in shock. The movers who were with me attested to this. Including the $100 deductible for the insurance coverage associated with my contract I paid CubeSmart even though their not willing to share with me how long I was renting an empty space! I've gone online to share my story, in an effort to make the public aware of what happened to me at this location, and prevent anyone else from experiencing the violation and vulnerability that comes with being robbed. I'm grossly disappointed.

I've had two bad experiences here--one when I moved in and one when I moved out…read more When I moved in, the manager was unfriendly and not warm. She turned several people away while helping me who were merely trying to pay for their monthly bill. It is hard to believe there was no other staff to take care of this or multitasking ability. Those customers should not have to come back to pay for their service. When I moved out, it was even worse. The latch that slides on the door would not slide after I removed my lock, so I couldn't get my storage space open. I called the front desk to have them call someone over to help me, and she asked me why I didn't have anything to spray on it. Why would I bring something to spray on the door? It isn't my facility to upkeep. Then she said that if I couldn't open it, that she probably couldn't. She said there was no maintenance man there on the weekend, so I'd have to come back. The whole point of me being there was because I needed the stuff then to move into my new place! I don't live super close to there and I shouldn't have to go back because they have old locks. Their job is to have a working facility, and luckily I got it open after a good 20 minutes with no help from them. This place doesn't just have awful customer service, it has NO customer service. I'm in the industry and have rarely experienced anything as bad as this. That manager needs to be retrained in hospitality for sure, and the facility needs to be updated at the very least. I definitely don't recommend this place for any reason.

I ran into issues with my gate code and the female "store manager" with glasses, grey hair comes outside & approached my vehicle and offered no assistance when trying to access my unit besides "are you in access hours", kept denying me access to my unit and said the gate is closed. Even tho this company advertises as being 24/7!!!She was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. I put up with a lot of issues I run into from this storage unit from having a unit filled with dust and trash always piled up beside my unit. They raised my rent twice within the last year and have never complained about the issues but today really set me off. Simple customer service went out the window and was instead met with attitude. I called customer service after and made a complaint directly with an agent.

I rented a small 5x5 unit here in February 2025 solely because it was advertised at $19 per month…read more Since then, the rate has been increased repeatedly in less than a year--from $19 to around $30, then $50, and now $70 per month. That is more than triple the original price in under a year. When I contacted management to raise concerns, I was told they can increase the rent however and whenever they want, and that if I don't like it my only option is to vacate the unit. That response is unreasonable, particularly given that customers cannot easily move their belongings on short notice--especially when living out of state. This pricing structure feels intentionally designed to lure customers in with a low introductory rate and then impose steep, frequent increases once their property is stored. I would not recommend this location to anyone who expects fair, transparent, or stable pricing. The BBB & Attorney General are currently investigating their practices.
