I heard a new management took over this place. So I'm trying to take a chance on them despite some of their bad reviews on yelp because I noticed that those happened in the exact same time. Anyway... let's get it going! First off I want to say TOP NOTCH customer experience. From the beginning till the end! They were very transparent about expectations and so no questions left unanswered. They were right on time and the products are top quality. Cookies decoration was AMAZING and it taste delicious too. I really do wish they do more than sugar cookies but I really don't have problem w it. I'll post pictures of my order. My husband loves it! And it was very special! Thanks a million guys. Called to place a birthday cookie order, it was later in the day and I was advised I could text my request, examples of cookies I liked, and they would respond back and get my order started... I never heard back to my initial or follow up messages. Highly disappointing! read more

I called to have cookies delivered for my sisters birthday (happens to be on Valentine's Day) and the gentlemen did everything he could to help me, however her address was out side of the delivery zone. My order never arrived and I'm so disappointed!! I placed An order for a delivery approx 3 weeks ago and I called to find out if they could deliver them before noon bc of the recipients work schedule. To my surprise they said the cookies were never baked, the baker is gone and it was nothing else they could do. I'm waiting for the manager to call me back. This company has truly ruined my day. I will never ever In life buy anything from this company. I want my money back Update: it took over a month for me to receive a refund, only after reaching out to BBB and complaining to PayPal. I placed an order online requesting it to be delivered on Valentine's Day. I have ordered here before and it was always delivered early in the day. THIS WAS MY HUSBAND'S GIFT & it was not delivered. I received a call after 5 asking if there was an alternate address to deliver . (We were on our way out of town for the weekend, so there wasn't an address to deliver to.). I checked the "business" option so why wasn't this a priority over a home address? The excuse was that they were unaware it was a school in service day. Why would that matter?????????? Stopped by to grab some goodies for the babies the other day, as I always do when I work a long day away from the house! Mama can't come home empty handed! The cookies and the owners are super sweet, but this place is franchised. I was looking for more of a mom and pop type place, but the cookies nonetheless didn't disappoint! They were huge, and decorated adorably, and although they looks as if they'd be hard to the taste, they were still the perfect amount of softness, with a simple icing on top! They have great baby shower cookies, the CUTEST designs... which makes me think, gee... I just might need to have one more baby! :) Prices will get you though! I paid $18 bucks to two cookies on a stick! WOAH! Wow, when seeing a variety box of these gourmet cookies, it was extremely hard for me to decide which one I wanted to grab. After drooling at the plump looking cookies for over a minute, I decided to pick the Chocolate Chip with Nuts cookies. First off, the appeal of these cookie are amazing. They are so pretty and perfect in shape and size. It's the perfect assortment to bring to a group of people! The cookie I had looked better than it tasted; however, that's not necessarily a bad thing. I didn't eat a second cookie since the first one didn't blow my socks off. The cookie could have been sweeter since the large amount of nuts took away the sweetness a chocolate chip cookie should have. It was a good cookie, but I've definitely had better. If I'm ever to try another, I will probably go for the plain chocolate chip or the white macadamia nut since they looked mouthwatering. read more

Really not impressed by Cookies By Design. I ordered 2 dozen cookies for work, they were $90! Super expensive! Picked them up and they looked like something anyone could make at home. Horrible customer service. I placed an order a week ago, scheduled to pick up at 8:30 for a Christmas party. I arrived at 8:30 and told it was not ready and would be another 45 minutes. I returned 45 minutes later and was told they were still not ready, and would be another 30minutes. I could not stay longer, as the cookies were ordered for a party at 10am. The business has sold within the last year. I used this company all the time. The customer service was excellent. They even had a little old man deliver the cookies and he called you when they arrived. You will not get this service anymore. They are very confused. I spoke with more then one person in my 3 days of dealing with them. I ordered early to have my order delivered by 4pm the following day. They deliver it at 5:40pm and never received a call back after leaving a voicemail and an email. The person didn't get their cookies because they left at 4pm. I will never use this company again. I ordered a 9 cookie boutray for delivery on Valentine's Day. My delivery never arrived despite talking to a representative from the camp Bowie location 3 times. I called again on the 15th requesting a refund and was told there was an accident with the delivery truck and they were remaking all the damaged orders but when my boutray arrived I only received 7 cookies not 9 and the boutray was not the one I ordered. I talked to a manager and was told they would deliver a dozen gourmet cookies the following Monday. I never received the cookies. read more

On Friday last week, I ordered $50 worth of cookies (with a $15 delivery fee) and requested a Saturday delivery. I was going to be out of town for my sister's birthday, so I ordered her a dozen consolation cookies just the night before. They delivered the cookies on time, but because no one was home when the cookie deliverer, Muriel, knocked, she sent my sister a text instead notifying her that there was a box of cookies waiting for her on the porch. The cookies are pricey (and pricier still when you add the delivery fees--try nearly $35 for a dozen cookies once all was said and done), but they arrived on time and were delicious. I'd do cookie delivery again if I found myself in a similar situation. Definitely helped cushion the "sorry; I won't be around for your birthday this year, little sis" blow. read more

I wish I would've read all the other reviews before ordering from this company. I ordered cookies a week in advance and on the day that they were supposed to be delivered I got a phone call that they would not deliver to my daughters house. this was her first time away from home she was eight months pregnant and it's all I wanted to do to make her Easter special! The manager did offer to deliver because all of her delivery people were already gone. When I called four hours later because my daughter had never received them, Manager stated she did not like my attitude , was canceling my order , and hung up on me. After contacting the actual franchise manager they didn't even have the decency to call me. They sent me to customer service and offered me a merely $30 off to pay another $50 for seven cookies.
