Stopped in 10 days prior to my mom's funeral to order the flowers. I knew the flowers would have to be ordered & it was over a holiday. I tried to show the lady a pic of what I wanted & she wasn't interested. She said we will just see what we can get. The arrangement was $320+20delivery+20tip=360 I thought for sure it would be a fabulous piece but was disappointed. 3 gingers, 3 birds of paradise & 7 anthuriums. It arrived with a carnation already missing and did not look like the picture on the website whatsoever. The arrangement looked like it had came from a dollar store. The arrangement I received was no where near worst $259 and I was ripped off. By the time of the funeral even more carnations were falling off and the ones remaining were already wilting. I ordered the Teleflora's Playful Springtime Daffodil Bouquet (a bouquet of daffodils with purple asters) because daffodils are my partner's favorite flower and purple/yellow has symbolic meaning for us. This was a Valentine's Day gift and I ordered it on the 9th. The delivery was set for Feb 13. I got a call in the morning on the 10th that they can't get any daffodils for delivery for the bouquet, which was set to be delivered the next day (the 11th). They told me they would replace the bouquet with similar colors for a Valentine's Day bouquet. I hung up, called back, and told them "This is fine, but please do not include any pink flowers." They assured me they wouldn't and that they would be doing a bouquet of mostly purple flowers. I also explained that the delivery was set for Feb 13 and they said it was going to arrive then. Great! While they delivered the bouquet on time, the bouquet was NOTHING like the bouquet I ordered online, nor what they promised verbally. The bouquet was mostly greenery with pink roses and other pink/white flowers. Not a single bit of purple in sight! And I am sorry to say but the flowers were not arranged well at all -- it was like they had just tossed everything into a vase and had called it a day. My partner is very sweet and didn't say anything about the arrangement, but I know that it could've gone better and I'm really disappointed because this is a tradition for us. The arrangement that was delivered had mums, carnations and alstroemerias. It was very plain and uninteresting, not worth the cost, and had no designer touches. When I complained, they did offer to pick it up and redo. This would be upsetting to the recipient and so I asked if a few roses or lilies could be delivered instead. The answer was no. Apparently there was a miscommunication. The person who took my order did not indicate my request for lilies or roses on the order. She told me they could "absolutely" be added to the arrangement. I do not recommend them!!! Lake Worth Florist: Thursday around lunch I called to place an order for flowers for my Mother and Grandmother. I picked your place because it was close to my parents home instead of who I usually use. I knew I was cutting it close and took the delivery into consideration. During my order I explained I wanted an $80-$100 arrangement. I wanted something that my mother and grandmother could share because they live together. The lady on the phone stated she could do the Love and Joy or hello Spring with the bird vase. I had viewed both on your website so I knew the size and appearance of both. I asked for a glass vase and not quite so much purple. She stated that was no problem and informed me she would do a spring mix. She said it would be a nice size and be similar to the arrangements she mentioned before. I told her that would be fine and was excited to be able to have it delivered the following day. She totaled everything up which was $100.16. That was for $80 worth of flowers, delivery, and tax. That total was acceptable but I had been willing to pay more if it was going to lack in size, however, she assured me that this would be a good size. Today, we get a picture thanking us for the flowers and We were quite disappointed to see what was sent was Pink Lavish Bouquet which doesn't come close to what it was supposed to resemble...with or without a glass vase I had requested. This is so disappointing. I have full understanding of a family business and customer service as my family has been in retail for over 100 years. And I know some people just can't be made happy but I'm not that person. I'd rather just move on than complain because I have been on the other end before. However, the more I studied the picture, the more disappointed I became and decided I would speak up. The price comparison, the size, the wrong vase...Maybe you should realize that with modern technology your product is easily viewed. We are too far to be able to make it up to them. She was helpful and honest about logistics and timing which were business considerations that Lake Worth Florist would have to work through but she was also empathetic about the whole situation. I ordered tulips for a baby shower I was hosting in my home. We even discussed whether I should get light or dark pink tulips. I explained that the shower was at 1:00 p.m., so I would pick them up at 10:00 a.m. When I arrived, there were two employees in the shop. The lady that gave me my tulips noted that they were buds, but would open in the warm air in a few minutes, out of the refridgerator. When the shower was over at 3:30, they were still buds! When I called to complain, first the lady said she didn't tell me they would open. Then she said no one can tell when tulips will open. When I said I would have appreciated her sharing this with me when I ordered them, she never apologized, just thanked me for calling. This was my first and last time using them. read more
