I will start this review on a negative note and say how much I hate their marketing. I just don't find drug related names and jokes a laughing matter at all. I'm a Debbie Downer, I know. Buuuuut the cookies are one thousand times better than their more famous competitor, so I will continue to buy their cookies. Speaking of their lousy competitor I won't name, the cookies here are always cooked the whole way through and yet still maintain their soft centers. I love how the edges are crispy and the center is doughy (but fully cooked!). It's more like a brownie in consistency than a cookie. The Firecracker is their best offering in my opinion. It is their s'mores flavor and it's more like a graham cracker blondie than a cookie, and it's super buttery to boot. I also really liked the Purple Haze, which is a white chocolate chip cookie. It's probably their most gimmicky cookie, but it's well done and the white chocolate gives the flavor more depth than you realize. The chocolate chip and sugar cookies are also really good, but I would go for one of the more unique flavors going forward. Great cookies, for sure. The branding is just kind of off. I was in the area getting a tattoo with some family and decided we wanted something sweet. CP is definitely the cross between Insomnia Cookie and Crumbl. The cookies were good. Only thing is , you have to bake/warm them up once you get home, if you don't want doughy cookies. The instructions are on the box of you get multiple. You can also freeze the cookies for later consumption. read more

I liked the variety of flavors and the cookies I had personally. The display of the options in the store was nice but on the general website. I couldn't find pics to go with the cookie names. There were some freezer cookies which I guess are ice cream versions of the cookies and I didn't care for the baby bottle drink Look. They are going for different but it feels tacky. I like the black culture vibes as a way to differentiate from Crumbl. I sense the cookies might be too sweet for some even though I was okay with it. Staff is friendly. read more

The theme of this cookie shop is creative. The guy working the counter was really nice. I tried the Pink Elephant and Firecracker cookies, both were quite sweet with a nice crisp on the outside, which I enjoyed. However, they were a bit too oily for my taste, and I wasn't a fan of the undercooked centers. That said, I might return to try the smaller cookies next time, as they may have a better balance. read more

I hate writing bad reviews so this really pains me. I don't know if we just went on a bad day or because it was late in the day but the cookies were awful. We got a pack of a dozen mini cookies and it was $35! We thought for that price they'd be incredible. Last night I had tried cookie plug. Very unique marketing and design. The cookies as well looked amazing. I had gotten 4 cookies to try. Once I had gotten home I tried the s'mores cookies it was way too sweet. I did like how crunchy it was but was too sweet to the point where I didn't even taste the marshmallow or chocolate flavor. The second cookie I tried was the bam bam. Which I was sugar cookies with fruity pebbles. That one was ok just way too sweet. read more

We had some high expectations for decent cookies, and they were not. The cookies looked good, but I don't know if it was because it was later in the day or what, they did not taste good. I don't remember the exact names but we got the sprinkle one, the purple velvet, strawberry shortcake, and the apple one. They were out of the chocolate chip when we went. The cookies seemed like they would be crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, which I guess they were, but not in a good way. The outside on all of the cookies was rock hard and the inside was super underbaked. I love a gooey cookie, but the thickness of rock hard crust and the almost wet inside was just not pleasant. There was also a very strong greasy taste like maybe too much cooking spray or pan grease was used, too. The best of the 4 was definitely the apple one. It was the only one with any discernible taste other than just sugar but still not something I would buy again. We love cookies and baked goods in general and are not snobby about them, but these were just a huge disappointment. Maybe the smaller cookies are more palatable, but we're not in a rush to try again. read more

The Cookie Plug has fun marketing materials, a variety of cookie flavors, and good customer service. I tried the sampler since I couldn't decide on just one cookie. The sampler allowed me to try eat flavor in small portions....great idea. The cookies are good but way too sweet for me. Taking a bite of each sample (1 pop can) was too much due to the sweetness. I'm sure I wouldn't be able to eat an entire regular size cookie. read more

Looked forward to trying the new Cookie spot in Media. Did so on June 15. The service was excellent - greeted immediately on arrival and we were given and explanation of the cookies, reward point system and a free ice cream cookie sandwich for Father's Day! Although paying $5 for a cookie is not optimum we enjoyed the treat and will return on occasion. The cookies were thick and done to perfection. Customers have the option to have them warmed up! Most importantly, the cookies were delicious... best cookies I've had in a really long time. I definitely suggest getting them warmed up. Super soft and gooey. The triple chocolate was my favorite.
