I wasn't given a plate or napkin for my bagel and it was a little hard to get someone's attention to ask where to find napkins (up by the register). It would've been great if they'd asked whether we wanted our items for here or to go. The restroom was out of toilet tissue, and when I tried to tell a staff member, they were wearing headphones so they couldn't hear me. I had to go find another to let them know. We told her we'd like to order some ice cream for dessert. She said, "Fine, but it will be 30 minutes before we get it." Asking why, we were told the line outside was long and they had to wait on all of them before they would get our ice cream. Needless to say, we decided not to stay an additional half hour for ice cream. Having brought a friend visiting from out of state and driving down from Indy, the experience has left a bitter taste for all the bragging we did for the Zaharakos Ice Cream Parlor.
