This place closes at noon, so if you have free time during the day, be sure to stop here first before heading off to run your other errands. My wife and I made it just before closing and we were really glad we did! The place has a kind of drab exterior, so unless you are really looking for it, it's easy to drive right by. Fortunately, we found it and pulled into their private lot. Inside, there is an order counter to the left and lots of seating to the right. We were greeted and though the inventory had been reduced, there were still plenty of donuts to choose from. My wife got a cherry turnover which she said was light and flaky on the outside, with cherries throughout the folded pastry. I ordered a Butterfly Roll that is a chocolate iced bismark made with layers covered with cocoa so that I got chocolate flavor in every bite. Really good! The cinnamon roll we split was fine. Unlike other places that smother them in icing, this was a smaller and thinner roll with a glaze. Nice flavor balance, but not what many expect who go to mass produced bakeries. The gal behind the counter was friendly and answered all our questions about the different donuts available. If you like donuts, this is worth checking out. Just wish I had tried the coffee. Moved to Columbus in 2015 and discovered this gem. By far the best donuts I've had in Indiana. I was born and raise in Indianapolis and you may hear people blabber on about Longs and blah blah blah, that's only out of nostalgia and or they are crowd followers. Longs donut are thick bread type donuts like you'd get from Kroger. This place has the best light are airy donuts you'll find. Get here early or you'll miss out. Better yet don't get here early so that I don't have to compete for their amazing Persian roll. Everything is fantastic here but as mentioned their Persian roll is unbelievably good. It has that old small mom and pop type small town feel and I love that about this place.

Drive thru coffee and donuts on a Saturday morning are hard to beat. Friendly and family owned, unchanged since I was a kid. For selfish reasons I wish they were open on Sunday as well but that's part of the charm of family owned. Highly recommend!

This place is great! HUGE variety and down to earth good pricing! Unlike some other places in town, they are Very reasonable on their prices! And the place always smells so yummy! They have a drive thru & their drive thru is quick as well. Important when you are stopping in the mornings on your way to work.

Clockwise from top: banana bread; blueberry muffin(s); and various delicious donuts.

Here's the thing: I've never actually *been* to Donuts N Coffee, only tasted them as a gift from a coworker who commutes from Columbus and has, on his most generous days, graced us with boxes of treats. How he delivers these items immaculately without tearing through them during the drive is beyond my comprehension. The donuts are all delicious and light (..for a donut), with classic flavors executed to perfection. The muffins are oversized, but not like a bloated Starbucks confection. These muffins' heft is more loving: a donut equivalent of the Midwesternly citizen who's maybe packed on a few pounds over the years but carries it in such a way that it somehow enhances their appearance rather than detracts from it. These are the desserts who carry their weight so well, they can pass as breakfast. Not pretentious, not stale. They're all just right.

Orange glazed cake donut -- so good!

Best donuts in town. Light, airy. Have to request crème filling in Long Johns but they don't get bent about the request.

Donuts are good. Love the chocolate Butterfly donuts and donut holes. The only draw back is that they seem to run out of donuts to soon.

I had anticipated my visit for a little while now but I can imagine I'd be delighted to find this spot on an adventure through the area. The vast plant nursery was also delightfully unexpected. The inside of the Farmhouse is just like a farmhouse, with the most charming interior that feels like Thanksgiving dinner with a collection of all the tables and chairs that you could find in your house to host everyone. First course, delightfully unexpected, was queso and chips! Free of charge, we were served a nice Rotel-style queso dip with multigrain chips. Yum! The tea selection is nice, it's all bagged teas that you get a small pot of. I got a salted caramel tea. Delish! Delightfully unexpected! I got the chicken salad sandwich with kettle chips. I love a chicken salad sandwich and this one hits the spot. We split a slice of peach pie for dessert that was just lovely and warmed up for us. All courses arrived pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend a stop to the Farm House on your trips to Brown County. I hope I can make more road trips in my future plans as soon as I can so I can visit again!

They deliver a bowl of warm spinach & cheese dip with stone ground chips. Very tasty. It took a little longer to be served as today was extremely busy with several large groups. Our table tried the chicken salad sandwich, ham sandwich, chicken, BLT wrap and vegetable quiche. All dishes are served with a side of potato salad, fruit or seasoned chips. The servings are plentiful and flavorful. The chicken salad is seasoned with dill and tarragon, nicely balanced. The chicken BLT was filled with chicken and bacon. The ham sandwich was a bit skimpy on the amount of ham. The quiche was a bit overcooked. All in all it was a delightful girls outing as we also walked around the flower and herb garden. We would return.

This ain't no health-food restaurant. Just get the thing that sounds the most delicious (probably the thing that has the most frosting), promise yourself you'll work out an extra 15 minutes, and you'll be fine. In my case, I chose a classic cinnamon roll, because I'm a classic girl. But this bakery has 25 different varieties of cinnamon rolls to choose from! You can get a lemon blueberry roll, or a PB & J roll, or a peach cobbler roll, or a coconut creme roll. Then you can customize it further by choosing to add nuts. There's a roll for everyone here. My classic cinnamon roll (which is called the "original") was great. It was soft in all the right places, ooey and gooey as advertised, and just straight up yummy. I don't usually use the word "yummy" to describe anything. But if anything can lay claim to the "yummy" adjective, it would be a cinnamon roll from this place. I visited for breakfast, and because I'm not really a sweets-for-breakfast kind of person, I also ordered a bacon-egg-and-cheese croissant sandwich, to give me some protein for my first meal of the day. I loved my croissant breakfast sandwich almost as much as I loved my cinnamon roll! They don't have very many savory offerings here, but they do make a decent BEC (bacon, egg and cheese) sandwich, and they also offer an avocado toast and a breakfast casserole. The black coffee is great, and you dispense it yourself. Refills are free, because you're dispensing them yourself. Seating is definitely limited. I noticed that most people got their food to go, but there are a few tables inside, plus a few patio tabes outside.

It started out awkward because the menu still said "spring" at the last of the dog days of July and several beverages on the menu were "we're out". Then the "Elderberry Fizz" drink had not one fizzy bubble! We asked and they said that despite the name, the drink is flat. Huh? The Taxman beer was nice and the carbonation was just right. On to the food ... happy to find that the grilled cheese which is on local sourdough bread and stuffed with a nice amount of spinach could be ordered without bell peppers. It came with choice of side and she chose "Indiana mustard potato salad". Since she is from Indiana thought it funny that which part was "Indiana". I ordered the fish tacos small plate. The chef came out in person to make sure that fresh ahi grade tuna was ok (!) because so many people assume that tacos would have fried fish. He also guaranteed that not a bell pepper would be in site. We were sitting outside on their extensive patio and the beautiful food came out. We could not believe our luck. The $10 tacos were gorgeous and delicious, a bit spicy. The grilled cheese was more than the ordinary. The potato salad was quite good and a little sweet. If we lived in Columbus we would want to know about this great deal - a nice different meal for a Friday night or something.
