The 1st time I came across Super Chix was in 2023 for a Yelp event when they opened up. Let's see if the trend continues. We were greeted by the staff when we walked inside. They had a good crowd inside for a Sunday afternoon which is a good thing. The decor looked spotless from what I could tell and TVs were showing sports from different leagues. Both of us had to order from the booth before getting seated where they'll deliver your food via a number. My selection was 4 chicken tenders and fries topped with rosemary pepper seasoning. And I chose buttermilk ranch and Korean BBQ sauces for dipping. Everything was delicious. The tenders were hot and cooked perfectly and the fries had proper seasoning. Truly made my belly get full before I finished. Thanks again Super Chix for having yours truly satisfied during lunch. You guys will continue to be a choice the next time we're in the area :)

Low and behold there is a Freddy's in Williamsburg, so we decided to take a little "part-of-the-day trip" to chrck it out. Upon entry, everyone working there greeted us and were super friendly. It was pretty busy in there, and i found the tables and chairs to be super close together and i felt a little claustrophobic. Maybe it was the abundance of the color red. The lady who took our order at the counter was very patient while we figured out the menu, which is mostly smash burgers in a variety of iterations, along with a variety of sides. I ordered a "single cheeseburger " with a side of shoestring fries. The cheeseburger is actually a smashburger that is practically a paper-thin "burger". It was very bland, to be honest. Their burgers, unless otherwise specified, come with pickles, mustard, and onions. The shoestring fries were awesome. Simple, not greasy. My husband got 2 Steakburger Tacos, which he said were "just okay". He also got a side of tots, which he found to be overly greasy. We couldn't leave without trying some of Freddy's Frozen custard. I had a small cone of vanilla, which if blind-taste-tested against McDonald's soft serve, i wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. Which is fine. We also got a chocolate malt shake, which was super good. Was it worth the drive? Meeeeehhh. The best things were the shoestring fries and the milkshake. Oh, they also serve Pepsi products. This is the first time that I have ever seen Pepsi Zero in a soda machine at a fast food restaurant. That was pretty cool. It's the little things. Would we go again? Unless there was a much closer location in RVA, probably not.

I noticed there were several parking spots on the street. Asign nearby said 2 hours - I assumed that meant it was free as there is no meters or parking machines nearby. The part of this location facing the street is somewhat enclosed - they have several outdoor seating where each table has its own umbrella for cover from the sun. Christian, one of the employees, helped us to open up one of the outdoor umbrellas. There are 2 entrances to get in or out of this location - one facing the street and one at the left side (if facing the store). Once inside, you will discover there are only a few tables inside (I think I saw 2 two-seaters, 1 four-seater and 1 six-seater table) and ample space to order your food and wait until it's ready. As I stood at the counter to order, I had my chick-fil-A app out (ready to use), but was informed that I can't use it because it is a college location (it is by William and Mary College). I ordered anyways because we were already there. We mainly dealt with one of their employees, Christian. Some in our party ordered meals while some did not (at the time we ordered, there were not a lot of patrons in this store). We tried the "Strawberry Passion Tea Lemonade" which is Limited and enjoyed by those in our party that drank it. It is only served in the Large size (don't be thrown off if you receive it in a small cup). I also got to try their Strawberry Milkshake (first time having that flavor at one of the locations) and I enjoyed it (they accidentally made a milkshake, so that is how I got it). Their milkshakes are served in the large foam cups here (not clear ones which I am used to). You do only get one size which is at all locations. Food was good (never been to a location yet where I didn't like my food). Service was great.
