The burger was juicy with fresh ingredients and they serve it on a potato bun I believe that's really soft. When I visited the store to pick up my order, there wasn't really anybody in there so service was immediate. But the restaurant is clean, spacious and well lit so if you do want to eat your burger there, there's more than enough room. I also ordered chicken wings and selected half and half for flavor. Half lemon pepper and half BBQ. Well, in every other restaurant other than this place, that means half of them are lemon pepper and the other half is BBQ. Well at bootleggers that gives them the insane idea to mix the flavors together and make some disgusting new flavor. When I called to get this issues reconciled, I was told to take it up with DoorDash!!! As if they made this awful food.

The employee who took my order was in process of being trained. Her manager was incredibly supportive of her. She watched her and helped when needed. But did not hover. She let her learn by doing. And unfortunately, this will be my second negative review concerning a cheesesteak from a restaurant in Savannah. I know this is not the part of the country that typically eats cheesesteaks, but my God, this can't be the best Savannah has to offer. I'm not even comfortable calling this a cheesesteak because of the bun and the complete lack of cheese. There was a small squirt of cheese whiz under the meat, but nowhere near enough to cover the entire sandwich. And as you can see from the picture, this is probably closer to a chopped steak sub then it is to a cheesesteak. The Sole bright spot were the fries which weren't great, but were at least fried all the way through and mostly crispy. I definitely want to like this place because of their selection of hot dogs on the menu, but now I'm a bit reluctant to try it out again.

This was, without question, the worst experience I've ever had at a Sonic Drive-In. We spent nearly…read more$50 on our order, and almost nothing about it was right. The problems started the moment we received our food. One entire cheeseburger combo was missing. The crispy chicken sandwich was made incorrectly despite the order being clearly customized. Both frozen drinks were either made wrong or were so melted that they were overflowing out of the cups before we even left the stall. I politely informed an employee about the missing burger and incorrect sandwich. What should have been a simple fix turned into an absolute circus. It took three different employees, including the manager, and five separate trips between the restaurant and our car before they finally managed to get the order right. The most disappointing part wasn't even the mistakes--it was the attitude. The blonde female manager acted like I was inconveniencing her because they failed to make the order correctly. There was no apology, no urgency, and no concern whatsoever that we had already been waiting while the rest of our food sat getting cold. By the time everything was finally corrected, the burgers, tots, fries, mozzarella sticks, and chicken bites were cold, and the frozen drinks were completely melted. We essentially paid $50 for food that was no longer worth eating. The restaurant itself looked dirty and run-down, which unfortunately matched the level of service we received. Fast food isn't cheap anymore. When customers are spending this kind of money, the expectation is simply to receive the order they paid for and to be treated with basic respect when mistakes happen. This location failed on both counts. Sonic corporate seriously needs to take a hard look at this restaurant. The food quality, order accuracy, customer service, and management all need immediate attention. This location is damaging the Sonic brand, and unless something changes, I won't be returning. Avoid this Sonic if you value your time and your money.
