This was my first timer eating here as we don't have this concept in Tampa FL. I was surprised at how cheap the prices were, however I quickly realized that you get what you pay for. The fries were way over salted and the burger a small puck in the middle of the bun. The order taker repeated the order back to me and it was perfect, however when I got it, it was all wrong. I dove back around to tell them the food was not what I order and to my shock, the manager told me if you want me to replace it with what you want then I have to charge you for it, i literally did not know what to say. They make a mistake and I have to pay for the items I originally ordered? He closed the window and then another employee came back out with what I had ordered. Never an apology, instead he sent an employee to deal with the situation. It's a shame that they have people like hat serving the customer. Hopefully this kind of service does not go on all day as they would certainly not help their business. read more

Great place to eat for cheap! Open until 3:30 am, nice hot food and the milkshakes are to die for. I loved them so much that I went to get one almost every night I stayed in Myrtle. My favorite flavor was Oreo Mint. They have over 40 choices! The drive through is always busy but I'm okay with that because that means food will be hot and fresh. I've heard a lot of great reviews about Cook Out and have been wanting to try it out for a while. So we pulled up to the drive through menu and I was immediately pleased to see wide variety of menu options and even better....the relatively low prices. I ordered the cookout plate for $4.99 and upgraded to a milkshake (+$1). My meal came with BBQ charcoal grilled chicken (it's a sandwich....I thought it was going to be chicken wings or chicken pieces), chicken nuggets & fries as the sides, and a peach cobbler milkshake. The customer service was a little lacking; I didn't get a bag/condiments, and wasn't greeted at the drive thru window. The food was really good which came with big portion sizes (I made two meals out of my combo by sharing with son and was still full). My peach cobbler milkshake was good, but didn't taste like a peach cobbler milkshake to me. My bf only ordered a mint milkshake and he said it tasted great. best eats for the buck, I couldn't believe what I saw choice of burgers, chicken or two hotdogs and more with/plus two sides like fries onion rings bacon wraps, quesadilla and such and a 32oz drink cup free refills better then any of the fast food restaurants. and they even had add-ons to the burgers like .89 they put chili coleslaw & pickles about 4 choices of add-ons so forget McD's BK any other fast food... cookouts I wouldn't even call it fast food I go to diners that don't come close to cookouts food quality and if you really think about it you can come up with many more dishes like one of our sides we ordered bacon wraps and a side of chili and put the chili in the wrap taco bell move over theres a new King of fast foods in town I hope this place goes nationwide I live in New Jersey and I would love to see a place like this up our way,, oh I almost forgot you get your entrée 2 sides and huge drink for $4.99 YES Only $4.99 I couldn't believe it. read more

To start off, service was horrible. People were snobby and rude. Also, they forgot one of my teas and then still charged me for the tea. So I have to pay for your mistake.
